Six-member South Korean hip-hop group B.A.P. is as well known for the darkly innovative look of their music videos and album covers as they are for their powerful rap songs.

From the apocalyptic vision of an urban riot in the "Badman" video to the "Donnie Darko"-esque cartoon rabbit character named Matoki emblazoned across their album covers and other merchandise, B.A.P.'s look is cutting edge, to say the least.

The dark visuals are the perfect match for the urban-infused sounds of a group that is currently one of the more interesting acts across the K-pop spectrum.

Music Video Review: Girls' Generation Latest Japan Release "My oh My"

News via kpopstarz.com

The song is easily comparable to many of their hits in the past, and it shows exactly what the fans expect of the girl group. Their vocal ranges are showcased as much as possible (except for Sunny, which I was only SLIGHTLY disappointed by, still a good song overall. Plus it's difficult to propagate democracy in a girl group of nine talented members, and the beat is consistent throughout. It's an easy melody to get stuck in your head and it sticks.

The looks of the girls in the music video are still from when they promoted I Got A Boy, and when it comes to Girls' Generation, you cannot expect any less than vibrant, young, and fresh. I admire the concept of the video, the whole girl power niche really brings a lot of fans together. There is also the factor of the little details in the video that follow with the lyrics of the song.

I absolutely prefer this video to the first one that they released and I Got A Boy combined. In this video, they aren't just dancing cutesy in various sets with a faceless man that's all hair and no substance. The 2d male lead is showcased more and the girls warn him well of their plans should he wrong their dear friend. Overall, a well done video that deserves many replays, but I don't need to remind the Sones about that.
