Kim Sung Ryung answered that even after the drama had ended, she still kept in touch with Lee Min Ho. In the drama, Lee Min Ho played the role of Kim Tan. Kim Sung Ryung had played the role of Kim Tan’s mother Han Ki Ae. She proudly stated that after the drama had ended, Lee Min Ho had contacted her. Kim Sung Ryung had made the newspaper headline of being ill after the drama, so he messaged her because he was worried about her health.

Lee Bo Youngs fellow contender for the Daesang Award, Jo In Sung, received the Special Award as recognition for his work in SBS dramas such as “Spring Days,” “Piano,” “What Happened in Bali” and “That Winter, The Wind Blows.” He made fond reference of the drama, saying, “Young-ie, who opened her eyes not too long ago, should be watching this so I want to say thank you to Young-ie. Young-ie, oppa got an award.” Jo In Sung also took home the Top 10 Stars Award. His Young-ie, “That Winter, The Wind Blows” co-star, Song Hye Gyo, who was not present, was given a Top Excellence Award.

 “The Heirs” received multiple awards, proof of how well the drama has done with the TV audience. Kang Min Hyuk, Kim Ji Won and Choi Jin Hyuk took home New Star Awards, while event MC Kim Woo Bin received the Top 10 Stars Award.

Lee Min Ho received five awards, the Top 10 Stars Award, Popularity Award, Top Excellence Award, Best Dressed Award, and Best Couple Award with Park Shin Hye. Park Shin Hye didn’t fare too barely herself; claiming a Top 10 Stars Award and Excellence Award for her role in “The Heirs” in addition to the Best Couple Award.

A worthy successor to the international hit "Boys over Flowers", Heirs follows a group of privileged, elite high school students as they are groomed to take over their families' business empires. YD has come to his mom’s café again. This time he enters. His mom immediately tears up when she sees him, but YD can’t look at her in the eye yet. She tearfully calls his name. YD cautiously says hi. She asks him the same thing she wrote on the wall of that restaurant- “Did you get along well?” YD replies, “No.” She walks closer to her son and wipes the tears that have started to fall down his face. She comments on how tall he has grown, also adding, “My son has become so handsome.” YD speaks the words he has wanted to for so long-”Mom. Mom.” She nods, “Yes,” and urgently hugs him. She cries that she was sorry; she is sorry for not waiting longer then. She was planning to go see him again soon after….but….she just apologizes for not doing so. Young Do hugs his mom tighter in response as they both cry into each other’s shoulders.

HS gives ES some his books. He thanks her, saying, “Thank you, Cha Eun Sang, for being a heartwarming cut (note: like a cut from a movie) in my brutal high school life.” Eun Sang remarks that it sounds like a goodbye. HS just tells her to study hard and the he hopes she and Tan become a boring romance movie. She asks if he is really going somewhere, but he doesn’t answer, just smiling.

Esther is holding a meeting with her designers, when R comes in. After the meeting, E asks for R’s opinion about the new line, and R says she likes it, but she wonders if a high schooler’s opinion matters. Esther assures R that she has an eye for such things.

Tan takes ES to her mom and asks for her permission for them to formally date. KA comes into the room. She asks if ES’s mom is against them. ES’s mom says she can’t give permission because ES has been hurt so much because of that family. KA says Tan is more dear so why be against it. ES’s mom says ES is also too dear. Tan is asking ES what mom is saying- Mom is giving ES a curfew. ES just lies and says that mom is saying good things, so mom is about to hit ES, but Tan blocks, and gets hit himself. He says he won’t file charges if she gives permission. Mom silently goes back to folding laundry, with smile on face. Tan and ES thank her for her permission. KA also helps with the laundry.

ES is moving to her new place, and is surprised to see Tan coming out of the new place already. He covers her eyes as she leads her into the place. HE has prepared a video of ES . He back hugs her as they watch- ES smiling, saying bye. ES says she looks pretty, and the two play around and joke, with ES giving him a peck on the cheek.

School cafeteria. R runs into YS, and the other girls look down on R because of her family things. They says they were nice to her because she was Tan’s fiancé. YD from the next table says isn’t it good enough that she is YD’s sister. Girls leave.
