“The King Loves” Ramps Up Drama And Action, Sheds More Light On Actor Park Young Woon

“The King Loves,” which is in its third week since premiere, is ramping up the drama and action, now well under way into the meat of the story. The stakes are higher than ever, with characters clashing and veils growing thinner and thinner.

The latest episode of “The King Loves” revealed, at last, a decisive clash between Moo Seok (Park Young Woon), the mysterious black-clad warrior with a snake tattoo, and the drama’s second lead Wang Rin (Hong Jong Hyun).

Here, as was done in a previous episode, the drama hints at the fact that Moo Seok is more than just a blindly loyal follower of the antagonist Song In (Oh Min Seok). Moo Seok throws both Wang Rin and drama viewers off when he asks Wang Rin, “When will you finally take a closer look at the people of Goryeo? Look at us [Goryeo]. I’ll be waiting.”

Moo Seok, who was initially depicted simply as the villains brawn, is slowly showing more depth, and viewers are curious as to what more will be revealed about his character as the show progresses.
