Girls Generations Gee Tune Video Has Been got rid of from YouTube

Girls Generations Gee Tune Video Has Been got rid of from YouTube

Girls’ Generations’ “Gee” Music Video Has Been far from YouTube Just as it used to be about to hit 150 million views, Girls’ Generations‘ music video for “Gee” has been removed by skill of YouTube because of a copyright claim.

girls generation gee down

(YouTube Link)

While the hasn’t been a transparent explanation why for the copyright understand and video removal, many are speculating that it's miles due to the YouTube’s new paid video provider “YouTube Red.” Video partners who do now not settle for the hot terms of service chance having their videos unavailable in spaces or maybe disappear.

“Gee,” like many of SM Entertainment‘s older music videos, became uploaded by their older sment YouTube account. They switched over to their SMTOWN YouTube account in 2011 and reuploaded many in their videos. The reupload of “Gee” on that channel” has lower than one million views.

The song was the 5th maximum viewed K-Pop music video on YouTube. Girls’ Generation’s “I Got A Boy” music video is now their best viewed one, sitting at 145 million.

If the removal was due to YouTube Red, it's still atypical that only “Gee” was removed from that channel while all other music videos were left untouched. with slightly of luck an authentic announcement can be revealed.

While the video is still readily to be had thru other uploads, it's the loss of its super view count that has saddened and angered fans. As it was a song that offered many of us to Girls’ Generation and the K-Pop genre, there has been a huge number of sentimental price in that view count.

'Ode To My Father' Star Discovered Through YouTube Video

'Ode To My Father' Star Discovered Through YouTube Video

Stella Choe

The star of the bestselling Korean film "Ode To My Father" was discovered through a comic YouTube video.

The film"s casting agency first saw Korean-American actress Stella Choe in the video "What Kind Of Asian Are You?" It"s a funny video that deals with a serious subject, the assumption that Asian Americans are somehow less American than anyone else. In Choe"s video a man assumes she must be from "somewhere else" and starts to talk to her about Asian food even though she was born in the USA. She begins talking to him as if he was British because she ironically assumes his ancestors probably came from Britain. The popular video was shared on many a Facebook page.

Choe and a friend made the video for fun. Chose has acted for a while but never landed a big role. She had no idea the video would serve as an audition piece and land her a role in a Korean box office hit. The YouTube video won her an audition with another 200 actresses and a few months later learned that she won the part.

In an interview with the Chosun Ilbo, Choe described getting the part of Yoon Mak Soon as being "like a fairy tale."

In "Ode To My Father" Choe plays the American-born daughter of a Korean woman adopted by a family in the U.S. During the Korean War the woman was separated from her brother and the other members of her family. Her long-lost brother, who remained in Korea, finally sees her on a television program that helps to reunite families separated by the war. He recognizes her from her story and the siblings meet once more.

Much of the film was shot in Busan but Choe said that it"s a good thing that her scenes were not set in Korea. The Los Angeles native does not speak any Korean.

According to the Joongang Daily, "Ode To My Father" drew 1.5 million viewers in its first five days, earning $1.5 million. The film hit a positive note with many Korean families who suffered through similar situations and were separated from relatives because of the Korean War. Choe watched the film with her own family and said that the theater was a "sea of tears." The film helped open up discussions about her family"s past.

"Ode To My Father" stars Hwang Jung Min as the brother who stayed behind and Yunjin Kim as his devoted wife. Singer-actor Yunho makes a cameo appearance.

YouTube Programs For K-Drama Lovers

YouTube Programs For K-Drama Lovers

Pinocchio/Kdrama LoLs The only thing k-drama lovers might like as much as watching their favorite dramas is reading about and discussing every detail. And k-drama lovers also enjoy watching YouTubers who share their passion for the Hallyu. Thats one reason the content provider Dramafever is working with YouTubers to develop programming on their YouTube channel thats just for K-drama lovers.

Here are a few of the programs they have already started featuring:

Kdrama LoLs, also known as Lapses of Logic, is a funny series that makes fun of the ways k-dramas are often not logical. You can love-love-love k-dramas and still find yourself wondering, what are the odds? What are the odds that those two rivals keep eating in the same restaurant as Lee Soo Hyuk and Uhm Tae Woong do in Valid Love.

What are the odds that the crippled child is saved by the hero who is really a murderer and also Lee Jong Suks brother in Pinocchio? And that Park Shin Hye is there to film it? Or does it make sense that his character winds up being fished out of the water by the ex-father-in-law of the woman who ruined his family. Still, you have to love his new family and appreciate the poetic justice.

Also, some times you just have to be really into a k-drama and note that people just dont do that, whatever that is, in real life. Just for fun, Kdrama LoLs adds up the LoL moments in the latest dramas.

Another program k-drama lovers may enjoy is Fridays with Feiii, which features makeup tutorials inspired by k-drama actors and actresses in the latest dramas. For example, you can learn the basics of Krystals innocent yet alluring look in My Lovable Girl, Baek Jin Hees casual look in Pride and Prejudice or even learn how to give yourself a Birth of a Beauty makeover by watching Fridays with Feiii. Host Feiii uses easy-to-find cosmetics to achieve these k-celeb looks and shows you how to apply them.

Another program on theYouTube channel is Street Style Seoul. On the program Kelly and Kevin conduct street interviews highlighting the fashion seen on Seouls streets and talk about how these looks relate to the styles worn by actors on Korean dramas and k-pop celebrities such s G-Dragon.

The content provider has other series in the works including one featuring English K-drama soundtracks, a K-pop/Korean music news show with K-pop YouTubers and DramaFever news.

Check out a clip of Kdrama LoLs below:
