Lee Sang Yoon has felt jealousy seeing Lee Bo Young and Cho Dong Hyuk together.

In the episode of KBS weekend drama, “Seoyoung My Daughter” aired on Feb. 3rd, Cho Dong Hyuk’s character Kim Sung Tae throws a special birthday party for his friend Lee Seo Young (played by Lee Bo Young).

Sung Tae had a crush on Seo Young during their school years and became a photographer. He has now met again with his school day crush as tenants of the same building. He was just stoping by Seo Young’s office when he finds out that it is her birthday. So, he suggests with Lee Yeon Hee (played by Min Young Won) that they close shop.

Sung Tae takes Seo Young and Yeon Hee to the club. Later, he goes on stage saying, “Today is my very special friend’s birthday. It’s her first time at a club”. Everyone at the club helped celebrate Seo Young’s birthday, making her feel special.

Meanwhile, her husband Kang Woo Jae (played by Lee Sang Yoon) had made the traditional seaweed soup for Seo Young’s birthday and had searched for her all day, only to find her similing in front of another man. He was shocked, leaving the audience to wonder what will happen next as the three characters stood face to face.

Also during the episode, Lee Sam Jae (played by Chun Ho Jin) discovers the real truth behind Lee Sang Woo (played by Park Hae Jin) and Kang Mi Kyung (played by Park Jung Ah)’s breakup.

Actor Cho Dong Hyuk will appear on the KBS weekend drama, “Seoyoung My Daughter”.

In the drama, Cho Dong Hyuk has been cast as “Sung Tae” the photographer that runs a studio upstairs from Seo Young’s new office.

Sung Tae had a crush on Seo Young since their school days and asked her out on a date to go see a concert but Seo Young had declined. He thought that Seo Young’s twin brother Sang Woo was her boyfriend so he hadn’t confessed his feelings for her. But now, the two have run into each other again as tenants of the same building.

About his special appearance, Cho said, “I’m a big fan of director Yoo Hyun Ki, and I was honored he approached me about the role personally. I will be making Seo Young’s husband Woo Jae (played by Lee Sang Yoon) very jealous”.

Cho recently starred as “Jin Woo” in the KBS daily drama “I’ll Bring You the Stars and Moon”. After the end of the drama, the actor has been traveling and resting. He said, “I think I’ve gained weight while I was resting. I can’t fit into the clothes I’ve prepared for this new drama”. However, there was an air of excitement around him, being back on a drama set after a period of rest.

Cho has worked with “Seoyoung, My Daughter” director Yoo Hyun Ki on “Brain” playing neurosurgeon “Seo Joon Suk”. The passion and energy Cho had on set of the medical drama left a memorable impression on Yoo, which is why he called him up for the role.

Yoo said, “Cho is an actor I can trust and his character is expected to blow fresh energy into the drama as Seo Young tries to stand on her own two feet. His character needed to be someone with enough charms to match Lee Sang Yoon, so I asked Cho Dong Hyuk if he could take the role”.

Audiences will be able to see Sung Tae (played by Cho Dong Hyuk) run into Seo Young (played by Lee Bo Young) on Saturday, Feb. 2nd at 7:55 p.m. on KBS2TV.

Lee Bo Young has told the truth to her in-laws and left home.

In the episode of KBS Drama “Seoyoung, My Daughter” aired on Jan. 13th, Lee Seo Young (played by Lee Bo Young) is shown confessing the truth to her in-laws who already found out about her secret through Jung Sun Woo (played by Jang Hee Jin).

Sun Woo is shown telling Seo Young’s family history and secret to Cha Ji Sun (played by Kim Hye Ok) who is shocked at the news and calls Seo Young over to her home to find out the truth.

Kang Ki Bum (played by Choi Jung Woo) asks Seo Young, “Your father is alive? Your brother is in Korea?” while Ji Sun asks, “Is Sun Woo telling the truth?”. Kang Woo Jae (played by Lee Sang Yoon) tells Seo Young, “Tell them you’re sorry first” trying to settle the situation.

However, Woo Jae’s comment made Ki Bum and Ji Sun suspicious that Woo Jae knew something about the situation causing them to become even angrier. That’s why you were shredding me up into pieces.”

Seo Young continued in tears, “My father is alive. My brother is in Korea. I’m sorry to have lied to you. Woo Jae didn’t have anything to do with this. He found out recently. That’s why we decided to get a divorce. We were finalizing it all today. I’m sorry to have lied to all of you”.

Seo Young packed up her things and left her home, telling Woo Jae who was holding her back, “We already decided to get a divorce”. Although he wanted to know her true feelings she told him that it was all nothing.

Meanwhile, Kang Sung Jae (played by Lee Jung Shin) who had been in a state of confusion after finding out that his birth mother was his father’s secretary played by Cho Eun Sook, returns home which grabbed the audience’s attention.

In the episode of “Seoyoung, My Daughter” aired on Dec. 23rd, Kang Woo Jae (played by Lee Sang Yoon) gave Lee Seo Young (played by Lee Bo Young) her last chance to tell the truth about her past by sending her to her brother Lee Sang Woo (played by Park Hae Jin) and Choi Ho Jeong (played by Choi Yoon Young)’s wedding.

Woo Jae met with Lee Sam Jae (plaed by Chun Ho Jin) beforehand to ask his advice on what to do telling him his story, but acting like it happened to a close colleague of his. Sam Jae told Woo Jae, “I think if it’s someone you want to forgive, you should give them another chance”.

Not knowing anything, Seoyoung goes to the wedding, and Sang Woo sees her first and calls her, “Turn back. This is my wedding.” Seoyoung finally sees Sang Woo and her father Sam Jae and turns around leaves the wedding ceremony.

After leaving in her car, Seoyoung turns back and goes back to the wedding. The ceremony was over, but Seoyoung secretly watches Sam Jae and Sang Woo taking family pictures in tears.

Meanwhile, in the same episode, the “nation’s husband” Woo Jae was seen growing cold to his wife, gaining attention from the audience.

Actress Lee Il-hwa belatedly joined the cast of KBS 2TV’s weekend drama “Seoyoung, my daughter”, which is currently achieving high viewing figures.

Lee will play Bang Sim-dok, a cool and staunch woman, whose trademark is a military style and her hat pulled down over her eyes. Bang Sim-dok is the landlady of the house Sang-woo moved in to after wedding. After her husband died when she was in her thirties, she raised his son alone and supported his study abroad by running a DIY furniture shop.

Lee will appear starting from the 25th episode. She quarrels with Sam-jae (Chun Ho-jin) over every thing, but at one point they become confidantes and begin to have special feelings toward one another.

Lee said about her casting, “It can be difficult to join the cast and attune to the drama in the middle of series. But I felt I am thankful to take part in making this good work with a very warm-hearted director and staff and a talented cast of actors.” She expressed her anticipation, saying “I am looking forward to the first shoot.”

You Hyun-gi, the producer, said, “I cast Lee Il-hwa as I thought an actor of feminine and graceful visual character may appeal more to viewers than one of hot-tempered and lofty appearance.” He added, “I hold her in high esteem for the acting capabilities and unique charm displayed in the previous KBS morning drama ‘Dear Love’ and ‘Reply 1997’, and I expect her to put a lot of energy into the character of Bang Sim-dok.”

Viewers are now immersed in the drama so as to catch every expression of Seoyoung, who seems to be in s cliffhanger situation even though she is happy. Viewers are anxious to know when Seoyoung’s sad secret will become known to Woo-jae, the husband, and the in-laws.
