And boy, was it grand.

You Who Came From the Stars left us with warm fuzzy feelings to know that Do Min Joon and Chun Song Yi′s relationship somehow worked out, at the same time, putting an emphasis on how precious time spent with a loved one is.

It was great while it lasted, and here are our final top 10 moments of You Who Came From the Stars.

Do Min Joon: Chun Song Yi. My beloved, Chun Song Yi.

Don′t wear such revealing outfits while it′s cold.

You′re prettier when you′re covered up.

Like I said before, kiss scenes and back hugs scenes are a no.

Passionate romance, no.

Don′t get sick and don′t look at negative comments.

Don′t start crying after singing.

Don′t eat alone.

Don′t get drunk and go inside wherever you want.

Don′t look up at the sky and wonder if it′s this star or that star.

It′s not a place that′s visible from here.

But I′ll look from there every day.

This place where you are, every single day.

And I′ll do my best to return every single day.

Somehow, I′ll find a way to find my way back to you.

I′ll do it.

The sad farewell

The other very painful farewell between a father and his son.

Do Min Joon: I may have to go on a trip.

Chun Yoon Jae: Is it the kind of trip that I′m thinking about? Do you need a bike?

One with a basket?

Do Min Joon: No… Either way, it′ll be a long trip, so I want to ask for a favor.

Chun Yoon Jae: Yes, please tell me. Any favor.

Do Min Joon: While I′m gone, listen to your sister, and don′t give her a hard time.

Do as your sister tells you.

Chun Yoon Jae: That…even if it′s your favor-

Do Min Joon: Telescopes…didn′t you say wanted them?

I′ll give it to you.

Chun Yoon Jae: Both of them?

Do Min Joon: Yeah.

Chun Yoon Jae: I′ll die if she tells me to.

Do Min Joon: All right. Don′t make your sister suffer, and protect her.

Chun Yoon Jae: Thanks hyung. Can I hug you once?

Do Min Joon: No! You can′t-

We love fanboy Yoon Jae.

Chun Song Yi: Tell me more.

Hong Bok Ja: What?

Chun Song Yi: Tell me more.

Hong Bok Ja: I need more memories with him to do that. That′s all.

Chun Song Yi: Then tell it to me once more.

Yoo Se Mi: When you start thinking about him, that′s when your pain will stop.

Right now, you′re only full of his thoughts. There′s no time for you not to think about him.

It′s harder not to think about him.

But all of the sudden, he comes to mind.

′Ah… I was thinking about something else and now I′m thinking about him.′

At that point, you′re no longer in pain, because you′re able to think about other things too.

Hong Bok Ja: Yoon Jae, you just continue growing well, and later come to nina~

Chun Yoon Jae: I don′t want to live my life recklessly.

Hong Bok Ja: Mmm~ Playing hard to get!

Somebody′s been growing out her hair

When you realize Lee Hwi Kyung′s still crushing on Chun Song Yi three years later, and can′t help but to be a little sad for him.

Do Min Joon: I told you, no revealing clothes.

Chun Song Yi: Do Min Joon?

Do Min Joon: Yes, it′s me.

It′s really me.

I′m sorry for being so late.

When your boyfriend shows up out of nowhere and kisses you in front of everyone. *blush*

Chun Song Yi: I′m perfectly happy.

"Once, oh marvelous once, there was a rabbit who found his way home."

- The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane

What an ending.

Chun Song Yi: Isn′t it hard when he disappears without a warning?

Of course…

But I′m able to love him even more.

If I think that this might be the last time I see him in front of me, then that moment becomes even more precious to me.

Do Min Joon: I′m home.

Leaving us with another epic epiilogue.

Thanks for reading!

Hopefully, it’ll be with a happy ending and we can stop crying.

Here’s our picks for top moments for episode 20!

Hong Bok Ja: Chun Song Yi…How can…

Comic Book Guy #1: That’s friendship right there. Watch her cry, worried about her friend.

Comic Book Guy #2: I see saw Boss Hong in a new light now.

Hong Bok Ja: Do Min Joon…is my man…how can she….

Can’t stop laughing.

Mama Chun: Teleport? Are you kidding me? There’s no way that’s even possible.

That moment when you appear out of thin air and meet the parents.

Mama Chun: What if he’s a weird person?

Yoon Jae seems to know a little about him.

If you don’t tell me, I’ll ask him!

Chun Song Yi: Mom…

He’s the one person in the world that I love.

There was none before and there will be none in the future.

It’s true he’s not a normal person,

But to me, he’s just someone I love.

So, please feed Do Min Joon.

Mama Chun: Why are you eating like that? Eat lots!

Chun Yoon Jae: That’s up to me.

Do Min Joon: Eat deliciously, Yoon Jae.

Chun Yoon Jae. : Yes hyung!

Forever Do Min Joon’s #1 fanboy.

Enter jealous Do Min Joon.

Chun Song Yi: Are you awake now?

Do Min Joon: How could I not when you’re this loud.

: I thought you died. I thought you died.

Just a preview of what COULD happen. Writer Park, please make it a happy ending!

Do Min Joon: So was the last week extra special?

It was more boring and normal than usual.

Chun Song Yi: That’s not fair! That’s home adventure.

Do Min Joon: You mean home advantage.

Chun Song Yi: If Laywer Jang and I fall into the water, who would you save first?

Do Min Joon: You.

Chun Song Yi: Really?

Do Min Joon: Lawyer Jang was in the marines. I’m sure he can take care of himself.

Chun Song Yi: What did you hit so far?

Watch out. I’m going to give you a deep kiss and make you faint extra hard!

Lawyer Jang: I don’t want you have you leave my side.

I know this might sound funny, but I really feel like a parent losing a son.

Do Min Joon: Lawyer Jang.

A long time ago, someone said this.

Farewells are to be said in advance, because at the last moment, there might not be a chance to say good bye.

Thank you.

I’ll never forget you.

Chun Song Yi: It looks like you have no plans to say I love you to me, so I’ll even do your part.

I love you, Do Min Joon.

As you live longer than me, you’ll eventually forget, but don’t forget that a perfect women like me really loved you. And be proud of it.

Do Min Joon: The most marvelous power that I have is the ability to stop time.

: You can even do that?

: Of course. I’m a greater man than you think.

I’ve stopped time so many times, and during this time that you didn’t know, I said this.

I love you, Chun Song Yi.

I thought that if I said this during the flow of time, everything would flow away and disappear.

So I said it when time was stopped.

I love you, Chun Song Yi.

I love you.

All the feels. Right in the gut.

Chun Song Yi: Do Min Joon. Will you marry me?

In a desperate need for tissues right now.

Man from the Stars Wraps Up Filming + Text Preview for Final Episode

Man from the Stars Wraps Up Filming + Text Preview for Final Episode

“Man from the Stars” Wraps Up Filming + Text Preview for Final Episode The day has come! SBS’ hit alien-human romance drama, “Man from the Stars,” will be airing its final episode today (February 27 KST), and thankfully, the cast and staff has wrapped up filming the final episode earlier today.

Such is the case for many Korean dramas, where episodes are almost shot right up to the airing on the same day. Called “live-shooting,” each scene is shot and sent to the editing room, and the episode gets edited piece by piece as the footage comes in, almost right up to the hour of the broadcast.

“Man from the Stars” wasn’t terribly backed up like some other dramas, but it did keep the race tight. The first report of the drama finishing filming was released at 8:08AM February 27 KST, just a little over 12 hours until the broadcast time. The filming proceeded as clandestinely as possible and the staff was giving a gag order to prohibit any specific details about the ending from leaking. All that viewers were supposed to know was that episode 20 (the penultimate episode) foreshadowed Do Min Joon (Kim Soo Hyun) and Chun Song Yi’s (Jun Ji Hyun) separation. Yet it was hinted by the production team yesterday that the ending will be unpredictable, throwing fans into confused loop of speculation.

Today, a source from the production team revealed to local news agency Dailian that “On February 26, we filmed an important scene to the ending at Ilsan.” The source teased, “While we can’t reveal what kind of Do Min Joon and Chun Song Yi scene it is, please look forward to it until the very end.” It added, “It still hasn’t been decided how the ending will play out.”

Another source teased, ”The ending could be an unhappy one. At the very least, the epilogue showing [Chun Song Yi and Do Min Joon] happy should satisfy the desire of many people.

Additionally, SBS has just recently released the text preview for the final episode (episode 21) at the “Man from the Stars” official homepage. It said:

February 2014. As the comet that has strayed from its orbit passes close to Earth, a meteor shower of the largest kind in 400 years starts. Min Joon, who senses that the time to part has come, bids his last farewell to Song Yi…

"You Came From The Stars" Episode 20

It would seem that the consequences of Min-joon coming out as a mysterious entity with superpowers are rather subdued. I can't really fault the drama for taking this path, honestly, because who knows how such an event would play out in real life. Constant media coverage and interviews? Yeah, we'd definitely have that. Which I imagine would make it somewhat difficult for a shady government entity to try to snatch Min-joon up and dissect him or something. Ironically, Jae-kyoung may have actually done Min-joon a favor by exposing him in public, as opposed to a controlled room.

But if the drama doesn't really care that much about the implications of this, eh, I don't either. What "You Came From The Stars" does care about at this point is the skinship. Great skinship action here. It's just so darned cute. It's like Song-I and Min-joon are hanging on for dear life because they know that at any minute he's going to have to go back and then they won't have this chance ever again.

There's lot of rushing through the serious relationship stuff here, like dinner with Song-I's family. That, again, doesn't feel organic so much as it does rushed, but then that's really the appeal anyway. "You Came From The Stars" is doing a good job utilizing the odd situation the characters are in to build up some decent comedy and fun. This is probably a big part of why there's relatively little emphasis on the public exposure stuff- it's more a narrative device to set up the couple conflict than it is a greater existential one.

Which in some ways is kind of a weird way to write a drama going into the ending. This doesn't actually feel like it's heading into a resolution- more that we're just continuing the same stuff the drama's been doing this whole time. Although thankfully this episode is for the most part lacking the stupid plot contrivances that have often worked to make "You Came From The Stars" unwatchable.

Still, the gaps from the drama's earlier chronology are still somewhat noticeable. Remember Se-mi? Her character stopped being relevant to anything that was happening some time ago, so it's kind of odd for her to pop up here all of a sudden. Still, I like that her storyline's denoument isn't focused on turning her into a villain. Se-mi's always been reasonably sympathetic, even considering her faults. I just wish we could have spent more time on her.

"You Came From The Stars" is directed by Jang Tae-yoo, written by Park Ji-eun and features Jeon Ji-hyeon, Kim Soo-hyeon-I, Park Hae-jin and Yoo In-na.

Man from the Stars Final Episode Script Completed

Man from the Stars Final Episode Script Completed

“Man from the Stars” Final Episode Script Completed The script of “Man from the Stars” has been finalized.

According to a representative of the drama, the script writing process of the finale was finished last week, and it is currently undergoing some minor editing.

The script has been finalized for a few days already, but everyone from the producer to the staff has been worried about the ending being revealed to the public, and have thus been extremely careful with the script to prevent leaking. As netizens are continuously coming up with possible endings, there might be small changes to the script based on the situation.

The teaser for the 20th episode has already been uploaded on SBS’ official website. In the clip, the identity of Kim Soo Hyun (Do Min Joon) is slowly being revealed to the public, and in the center of the buzz, he is taken away by the investigators for threatening the life of Jun Ji Hyun (Chun Song Yi). Worried about her lover, Jun Ji Hyun is trying to stay close to Kim Soo Hyun and help him.

In episode 19, the lovely couple enjoyed each other’s company by spending precious time together, but just when everything seemed to be going well, Jun Ji Hyun told Kim Soo Hyun to leave the Earth for his own sake, causing viewers to wonder whether their romance will end or not.

The source concluded, “We are currently in the final stages of filming. We will probably continue filming until the 27th,” which is the day the final episode will air.

We only have two more episodes to go, but check out what our top moments of episode 19 were!

That satisfying moment when Lee Jae Kyung is arrested.

Chun Song Yi: There’s too many people. It’s too loud.

Let’s go somewhere where there are no people.

Do Min Joon: Okay, let’s go.

When Do Min Joon exposes himself to save the one he loves.

Chun Song YI: We’re the only ones here! No police, no reporters, no other people. No one else!

I’m Chun Song Yi! Try and catch me!

He’s an alien! Come try to get him!

We’re both here together! We’re going to live here together!

Here! Just the two of us!

We’re going to eat well and live well!

Do Min Joon, you do it too.

Do Min Joon: What?

Chun Song Yi: Do it, like me.

Do Min Joon: We’re going to eat well and live well, just the two of us!

Chun Song Yi: We’re going to do it! What are you going to do about it?

This is great!

And a breath of fresh air for our Alien-Actress couple..

Chun Song Yi: Do Min Joon.

Do Min Joon: Yes, Chun Song Yi?

Chun Song Yi: I love you.

If you say you want to live here, I want to live here.

If you say you want to live on a different star, I want to follow and live with you.

That’s how much I love you.

It makes me nervous because it feels like you’ll disappear at any second,

If we can stop this time we’re together. I would even sell my soul.

Because my heart for you hurts this much, I wish I never met you.

I sometimes think this,

But, even if I go back in the past, I’ll still meet you again

And bicker with you.

And fall in love with you.

And love you.

And then he feels faint again.

Chun Song Yi: How many kids should we have?

Do Min Joon: What?

Chun Song Yi: We should slowly set up a plan. How many do you want?

Do Min Joon: Seven.

Chun Song Yi: Seven? Isn’t that too many?

Do Min Joon: In the past, everyone did that. Seven, eight were normal. There were many families who had 12.

Chun Song Yi: Really? Then four daughters and three sons?

Do Min Joon: Seven daughters.

Chun Song Yi: Why do you want seven daughters?

Do Min Joon: I like daughters. Sons are too noisy.

Chun Song Yi: Okay, but that’s not up to me. What if a son comes out in the middle?

Do Min Joon: Then we’ll just have to raise him well.

We hope they really have seven children.

Chun Song Yi: You’ve never said you’ve liked me…. Or lo…oved me.

Do Min Joon: : Eat your ramen.

Chun Song Yi:You were sexy eating ramen.

Definitely sexy. And delicious.

Lee Hwi Kyung: I’m sorry, Father.

As messed up as the Lee Hwi Kyung’s father has been so far, there’s no sadder person. His second son killed his first. And his third son revealed that fact.

Chun Song Yi:Sing me a song.

You’ve never done it before.

Do Min Joon: What song?

Chun Song Yi: A song that will remind me of Do Min Joon.

A song that will remind you of Chun Song Yi.

A song that we’ll remember for a very long time.

Do Min Joon: After today, when the stars are extra bright,

I’m saddened by your words that you’re leaving.

Until this night passes

Ah~~ At the end of our happy times is our promise.

It keeps passing by and I want to cry.

It’s not your fault, but I feel like crying.

I’m dreaming a troublesome dream.

Lim Byung Soo - Promise

Chun Song Yi: Do Min Joon.

: Yes, Chun Song Yi?

Chun Song Yi: Do Min Joon, whom I love.

Do Min Joon: What?

Chun Song Yi: It’s time to wake up from this dream.

Please exist somewhere for me.

Don’t die for me.

Exist somewhere.

What I’m saying is…

To the place where you were.

B-but, but he just proposed. *bawls*

Heo Gyun: I cannot foresee the future, but before you leave this place, I think you will meet a woman that you will love so much.

For that woman, I believe that you’ll give up everyone you have.

Do Min Joon: On what grounds are you saying this?

Heo Gyun: Because love is a very mischievous emotion.

It’ll come more powerfully to a person who does not believe in it.

Episode 18 also got us moving along towards a conclusion with evidence of Lee Jae Kyung’s wrongdoing coming into light.

But we pushed the seriousness aside and chose the lovey dovey and hilarious moments, so check it out!

Do Min Joon: How much do you weigh?

After Do Min Joon fails to lift Chun Song Yi using his special powers.

Do Min Joon: How much do you weight?

Chun Song Yi: Is there anything I can do?

Do Min Joon: No, I’m all done.

Chun Song Yi: No, not that. About your powers not working.

Do Min Joon: It…still worked.

Chun Song Yi: It was too short…And you looked tired.

Should we try some medicine? Deer antlers or ginseng?

Do Min Joon: I told you before.

I had just woken up, and I was tired yesterday-

Chun Song Yi: We didn’t do anything yesterday.

You couldn’t even turn off the lights.

We might have lots of things to use your strength in the future.

Do Min Joon: This conversation. Is making me uncomfortable.

Chun Song Yi: No, no! Don’t be discouraged! There’s time like this, and time’s like that.

Maybe you were nervous! You can be nervous.

Don’t be discouraged, Do Min Joon. Fighting!

Do Min Joon: Stop it…

I said stahp it.

Chun Song Yi: No, I’m gonna do it~

Did you catch the Do Min Joon aegyo at the end?

Lawyer Jng: Before he met Chun Song Yi, he’s never dated a girl.

It was Chun Song Yi, who seduced my innocent son, and now he keeps doing things he’s never done!

Mama Chun: What do you mean my Song Yi seduced him?

Did you seduce him?

Chun Song Yi: Um… Yeah.. I kind of did.

Haha. Oops.

Do Min Joon: Is it too far?

Is it too heavy?

Poor Do Min Joon.

Yeah…your daughter and sister is very special.

Lee Han Kyung: Hwi Kyung, congratulations on graduating, my little brother.

When we miss Hwi Kyung’s older brother and he’s only been in the drama for a minute.

Chun Yoon Jae: I’ll say this straightforwardly. I like you.

Do Min Joon: Uh… thanks.

Chun Yoon Jae: Mom’s the problem, but I’ll take care of it.

I’ll write a contract, promising not to run away during senior year.

I think that’ll do it. Then she’ll give permission.

Do Min Joon: Permission for what?

Chun Yoon Jae: Your wedding.

Too adorable for words.

Chun Yoon Jae: Shh~

Do Min Joon: Yoon Jae… I…

Chun Yoon Jae: I’ll keep your secret.

Do Min Joon: Thanks.

Chun Yoon Jae: Can I ask for one favor?

Do Min Joon: What is this…?

I think there’s been a misunderstanding…

I’m not that type…

Chun Yoon Jae: *puppy whimper*

THIS. Is our favorite.

Chun Song Yi: Click.

Do Min Joon, now I’ve got you.

We’re totally locked together.

Employee: Are you meeting the parents?

Or a job interview?

Do Min Joon: I’m proposing…

Chun Song Yi. Miss Song Yi. Song Yi~

You wear it.

This isn’t right…

Chun Song Yi, I don’t know how long I can live by your side.

So maybe I shouldn’t even say what I’m saying right now.

But I’ll do my best to stay by your side for a long, long time.

I don’t know how long it’ll last,

But I’ll do my best to love you.
