MBC strike pushes back premiere of new drama ’20th Century Boy and Girl’ by two weeks

New Mon-Tues drama ’20th Century Boy and Girl’ has pushed back its premiere by two weeks, as a result of the ongoing general strike within MBC.

The production was set to premiere on September 25 in the time slot of the recently ended series, ‘The King Loves’. However, after the launch of the MBC strike on September 4, filming for ’20th Century Boy and Girl’ also halted for approximately 2 weeks, before it began against recently.

After holding its premiere press conference this September 29, ’20th Century Boy and Girl’ will finally premiere this coming October 9. The drama stars leads Han Ye Seul, Kim Ji Suk, Ryu Hyun Kyung, and Lee Sang Hee, as well as childhood roles by Gugudan’s Mina and SF9’s Insung.
