To our surprise, Rain casually transitioned into the world of acting like it was nothing and perfectly fit into all the characters he′s been given in both dramas and movies, earning much praise, tagged along by trophies as evidence.

The adventures into the acting world still continues for Rain, but we jump into the past and see what this star has done to make himself a household name.

You Who Came From the Stars Episode 6 Recap

Stuck in traffic with Detective Park, Min-joon makes a break for it even though that makes him look even more suspicious. His flight into the streets is partly a necessity of logic—he can hardly do his vanishing act in front of the detective—but also driven by an emotional reaction, as the scenario makes him think back to his Joseon experience:

Following the death of Yi-hwa’s father, Min-joon struggles to chase after Yi-wha, still weak from the poison. She cries for him to leave her, because she’s the one being chased by authorities and she doesn’t want him further hurt because of her

“You who came from the stars”: Episode 5 Recap

By in Drama Recap posted Oct January 1st, 2014 No comments
RECAP: FIFTH RECORD Min-joon saves Song-yi from falling overboard, and as he puts her to bed, she pulls him down to her to give him a kiss. She murmurs, “You’ve gone crazy,” but it’s more to herself than to him, believing herself to be dreaming him up. She hushes him from speaking and sighs, “Yeah, I was too lonely all this time and it’s been hard on my body. I’m even dreaming up sexy dreams now. It’s time I married. Hormones are honest.”Drifting off to sleep, Song-yi curls into Min-joon’s coat for warmth—the one he’s wearing, which pulls him even closer to her. Looking completely out of his element (well, even more than he is, for being an alien and all), Min-joon carefully extricates himself. As soon as he exits, he overhears scary hyung Jae-kyung confirming with his secretary that “it” has been completed, without witnesses, and that if not for somebody being greedy, he wouldn’t have had to do this

First action-packed teaser for Age of Feeling

By in News posted Oct January 1st, 2014 No comments

Here’s our first peek at the new 1930s noir drama Age of Feeling, featuring lush costumes, period sets, and bare-fisted combat. The first teaser looks pretty good, and manages to deliver an action-packed epic feel. I’m really looking forward to the visual aspect of this show, because the art direction looks fantastic and atmospheric. Let’s hope the other pieces come together for some gritty noir fun.

The 24-episode drama stars Kim Hyun-joong (Playful Kiss) as a street fighter in 1930s Shanghai. I have to say, so far his transformation from pretty boy to down-and-dirty fighter looks great, though we’ll have to wait and see how his performance shakes out in the show itself. He’s got a first-love-turned-mortal-enemy in Im Soo-hyang (IRIS 2), who looks like a badass gangster from the look of the teaser

Lee Min Ho Talks About Why He Chose ‘The Heirs’

By in News posted Oct December 31st, 2013 No comments

What made Lee Min Ho choose to star in the drama The Heirs?

Even though the drama was a success, many of his fans had worried in the beginning that his role in The Heirs overlapped with the one he played in Boys Over Flowers.

They were similar in that they were both 18-year-olds from a multi-millionaire family, who goes against the parents and falls in love with a poor girl.

Differentiating the two characters was a task for Lee Min Ho to solve.

In a recent interview with Newsen, Lee Min Ho expressed his respect for the drama writer, Kim Eun Sook.

“I thought that when a man is around 26 or 27 years old, that’s when he can pull off both manly charisma and innocent boy’s charm

2013 SBS Gayo Daejun Music Drama Recap: Same Characters, Different Style

By in News posted Oct December 30th, 2013 No comments

Who else burst out laughing when they saw K.Will ‘s face revealed as Choi Young Do during Part 1 of the 2013 SBS Gayo Daejun Music Drama, “The Miracle“? I love K.Will, but that was so unexpected. I think he pulled off Kim Woo Bin‘s character from “The Heirs” very well, with the same attitude and toughness, if not a bit awkward.

The SBS Gayo Daejun unveiled the three part music drama, “The Miracle” yesterday featuring SHINee‘s Taemin, Girl’s Day‘s Minah, A Pink‘s Son Na Eun, 2PM‘s Wooyoung, and many other idols. With cameos from Shin Dong Yup, Kim Kwang Kyu, and Seo In Guk, the music drama parodied and blended together two hit SBS dramas: “The Heirs” and “Master’s Sun

Lee Jong Suk gave fifty out of a total score of one hundred on his chemistry with his co-star Park Bo Young.

During press conference for the upcoming movie Boil Youth, which took place on December 30 at the Lotte cinema theatres near Konkuk Univeristy, Lee Jong Suk answered “fifty” when questioned about his teamwork with Park Bo Young.

“I was in the countryside for the entire time of filming with Park Bo Young, but we didn’t get that close,” said Lee Jong Suk. “It’s too bad, since we are similar in age.”

Park Bo Young, who gave a higher score of eighty on her chemistry with Lee Jong Suk, made everyone laugh when she said, “I think there will be many news articles after this about how we’re not close. Can I change my score?”

She continued, “There weren’t as many scenes where we were in intimate scenes

Lee Seung Gi at Singapore Fan Meeting Describes a Back Hug by Female Fan as “Erotic”

By in News posted Oct December 29th, 2013 No comments

Oh my, what a strong word to come from the Prince of Smile, Lee Seung Gi, who has always presented a clean and wholesome image! However, that was exactly the word he uses to describe a back hug by a female Airen (official name of Lee Seung Gi’s fanclub), at “The Brilliant Show” fan meeting held in Singapore on September 7 at the Resorts World Sentosa Festive Grand Theatre.

The brilliant show started with Lee Seung Gi performing “Will You Marry Me” from one of his popular dramas “Brilliant Legacy,” followed by a greeting and talk session hosted by host Kenneth from MediaCorp.

“How is everybody doing? It was good? Did you sleep well? I didn’t sleep well because I missed you a lot!” Lee Seung Gi greets in fluent English

Now four years in the music industry, the B2ST members started doing the whole ‘Together But Separate’ thing, where each member ventured out to other roads while the group was on album hiatus.

Not surprising, but each of them found their own paths and did quite well, bringing in more recognition for the group as multi-entertainers

Lee Gi Kwang

Having debuted a little earlier than the other B2ST members (remember AJ?), Lee Gi Kwang has the most experience in doing solo work.

He’s broken out of the idol image by being made fun of his short height on Hot Brothers and mastered the ‘Migook (American) Dance’ by the time he was MCing on Win Win.

He’s acted alongside Yoon Si Yoon, Shin Se Kyung, Lee Kwang Soo and more on High Kick Through the Roof and later moved onto Kim Tae Hee and Song Seung Hun in Princess

While B2UTIES will always have a special place in their hearts, the B2ST members temporarily made some spots for some lucky ladies, who’ve had the chance to work with B2ST on different occasions.

Some interactions lasted longer than others, but one thing is for sure – these ladies must have done something good in their previous lives.

Lee Soo Kyung & Yoon So Hee

If food was a girl, Yoon Du Jun would be all over it, but it’s not, so he instead chose Lee Soo Kyung and Yoon So Hee as his ladies in tvN’s Let’s Eat.

Lee Soo Kyung and Yoon So Hee play his neighbors in apartment 805 and apartment 804. These ladies have completely opposite personalities and a hate/love relationship with Yoon Du Jun, but the three manage to keep each other company with their love for food in common
