Yoon Eun Hye 2014 Drama
Jang Hyuk and Jang Nara may be reuniting for another drama, 12 years after starring together in SBS drama “Successful Story of a Bright Girl.”
The two are tipped to star in MBC Wednesday-Thursday drama “Fated to Love You ”(working title) this summer. Both sides are said to be positively reviewing the offer, although nothing can be confirmed just yet.
“Fated to Love You” is a remake of a 2008 Taiwanese drama of the same name. The drama achieved historically high average ratings of 10%, with peak ratings hitting 14.6%, in Taiwan. This would be equivalent to a rating of 70% in Korea. The drama will be produced by Number Three Pictures (“Arang and the Magistrate”) and directed by Lee Dong Yoon (“Queen’s Classroom,” “The Greatest Love”), and is scheduled to follow after Kim Myung Min’s “A New Leaf” in July.
Opus Pictures, the production company that made “Snow Piercer” (2013) and “The Man From Nowhere” (2010), has a new movie starring Ji Sung, Joo Ji Hoon, and Lee Kwang Soo, called “Good Friends.”
“Good Friends” is a noir movie about three friends who get in destructive conflicts with each other, their friendship gradually getting twisted following a murder case. In charge of the screenplay and direction of the movie, rookie director Lee Do Yoon plans to portray the cold-hearted reality of getting caught up in and not being able to escape a vicious cycle.
Choi Jin-hyeok“s Daniel had a larger role to play. He is looking for a long lost sibling, who may be Mi-young. But the image he portrays is a softer, more vulnerable man than the cocky one we met in the first two episodes. His interest in Mi-young is sparked by her kindness, just like Geon”s was. It”s a nice parallel that both men were attracted by the same quality. He also has a connection to Geon”s family, which will prove interesting when love lines and family lines get crossed. The other second lead, Se-ra, is much less interesting. While she may be genuine in her feelings for Geon, she is very one-dimensional because of her selfishness.

RECAP: FIFTH RECORD
Min-joon saves Song-yi from falling overboard, and as he puts her to bed, she pulls him down to her to give him a kiss. She murmurs, “You’ve gone crazy,” but it’s more to herself than to him, believing herself to be dreaming him up. She hushes him from speaking and sighs, “Yeah, I was too lonely all this time and it’s been hard on my body. I’m even dreaming up sexy dreams now. It’s time I married. Hormones are honest.”
Drifting off to sleep, Song-yi curls into Min-joon’s coat for warmth—the one he’s wearing, which pulls him even closer to her. Looking completely out of his element (well, even more than he is, for being an alien and all), Min-joon carefully extricates himself.
