CNBLUE Tops Pre-Order Sales for Upcoming Japanese Single “Truth” before Asia Concert Tour

Rock band CNBLUE is already topping the Japanese charts in pre-order sales for their upcoming Japanese album “Truth.” The album will be the seventh Japanese release for the band. It has been nine months since their last release, “Lady.”

“Truth” contains three original tracks, including the title track of the same name. “Truth” is composed and written by member Jung Yong Hwa.

The upcoming album will released on April 23 with two limited versions of the CD. The limited versions were ranked one and two on the pre-order chart on the Japanese HMV site.

The upcoming release will contain on cd and one dvd. Below are the track list and contents of CNBLUE’s Japanese “Truth” album.

Rookie Group GOT7 Entertains 10,000 Fans in First Japanese Showcase in Tokyo

Rookie group GOT7 wowed their Japanese fans in their debut showcase titled ’GOT7 Showcase 1st Impact in Japan.’ The showcase was held on April 4, and around 10,000 people attended the event that was held in Ryōgoku Kokugikan. The group’s older labelmates 2PM also had their Japanese debut showcase at the same venue in 2010.

GOT7 started the showcase with their single “Hello” and also performed their hit single “Girls Girls Girls.“ They also performed “Playground,” “I Like You,” and “Follow Me“.

JYP Entertainment released a statement to their fans after the showcase saying, “GOT7 successfully finished their debut showcase in Japan three months after their national debut. We hope you support GOT7′s Japanese activities.”

The group is preparing for their second Japanese showcase for Osaka at the Zepp Namba on April 17

The "We Got Married - Global Edition" has released a compact version of the first episode of the new season!
As you know already, SHINee"s Key and Super Junior"s Heechul will be starring on the show with Japan"s Arisa Yagi and Taiwan"s Guo Xue Fu, respectively.

Actor Lee Min Ho was reported to have met South Korean president Park Geun Hye on April 4. He was invited to take part in the third meeting of the Committee of Flourishing Culture by the Korea Creative Content Agency. President Park Geun Hye likewise participated in the meeting to discuss the topic of Hallyu.


A rep from the Korea Creative Content Agency said, "President Park Geun Hye is set on making the prosperity of culture be this administration"s main task. As a part of this, Lee Min Ho and a couple of business world leaders went to the discussion to listen and talk about Hallyu contents."

The first episode of MBC Every1’s “We Got Married Global Edition Season 2” kicks off on April 5 Super Junior’s Kim Heechul and SHINee’s Key will reveal their married lives with their celebrity “wives,” who are from Taiwan and Japan respectively.

SHINee’s Key and Japanese model Yagi Arisa met for the first time at a café in Seoul. The “sweet couple” prepared macaroons and a handmade cake as presents for one another, displaying a telepathic bond from the outset.

In the interview that followed, Yagi Arisa revealed good feelings towards Key, saying, “The first impression I got of Key was that he was very ‘kira kira (shiny).’”

The "BEAST JAPAN TOUR 2014" finale was held at NHK Hall, Tokyo on April 3 with 3,600 fans. B2ST met a total of 30,000 fans at 12 concerts across 7 cities in Japan for their tour, which kicked off in Chiba in January and moved on to Aichi Prefecture, Sapporo, Fukuoka, Osaka, Hiroshima, and Tokyo. The concert was streamed live in 65 theaters across Japan.


The boys opened up the concert with a powerful performance of "Special", and they also held solo stages. Hyunseung performed his solo song "The Girl Who Wants To Play", Kikwang sang Justin Bieber"s "Boyfriend", Junhyung and Doojoon performed a duet to "I Am a Man", Yoseob sang the Japanese song "Another Orion", and Dongwoon played the piano along to "Everything"

CNBlue Asks for the “Truth” in New PV!

CNBlue is back in Japan with more music! Fresh from the success of their latest Korean single, “Can’t Stop,” the boys have just unveiled the music video for their upcoming Japanese release, “Truth.”

“Truth” is a pop rock track that reminds listeners of the band’s previous Japanese singles such as “One More Time” and “In My Head.” Taking off from their dapper looks in the “Can’t Stop” music video, the boys are sleek and sharp in their dark suits.

“Truth” will hit music stores on April 23. The single will come in different editions and will contain three new tracks including “Truth.” Meanwhile, the boys are currently promoting “Can’t Stop” in Korea.

Emergency Couple starring Song Ji Hyo and Choi Jin Hyuk as a once-divorced-couple who meet again as medical interns at an emergency room is a romantic comedy. The 17th episode of the drama recorded its highest viewership rating of 5.9%, ranking number one among all the dramas that air at the same time. The drama announced that it will be extending by one episode.

B2ST Successfully Ends Japanese Tour With 30,000 Fans

B2ST successfully finished its Japanese tour by gathering a total of 30,000 fans.

B2ST held the finale concert on April 3 at Tokyo NHK Hall, wrapping up B2ST Japan Tour 2014. Starting with a concert in Chiba in January, B2ST presented 11 concerts in seven cities, including Aichi, Sapporo, Fukuoka, Osaka, Hiroshima and Tokyo.

The finale performance at NHK Hall in Tokyo was a concert that was specially added to the tour to show thanks for selling out tickets for the tour and was attended by numerous professionals and affiliates of music industry in Japan. It was attended by 3,600 fans and broadcasted live in 65 theatres around the country.

B2ST opened the stage by performing re-arranged version of Special, followed by Shock, Fiction, Shadow and other hits

Crayon Pop’s ‘Uh-ee’ deemed unfit for broadcast by KBS

Crayon Pop"s "Uh-ee" has been deemed unsuitable for broadcast by the ever-so-strict KBS during the first review, so with some modification, the agency hopes to pass the second review.

Their agency Chrome Entertainment CEO Hwang Hyun Chang told Star News on the 3rd, "We were notified that ["Uh-ee"] was deemed unsuitable for broadcast by KBS so we modified the problem lyrics "bbikka bbunjjuck" to "bbunjjuk bbunjjuk" and submitted it for reconsideration."


KBS stated on the 2nd, "Among the lyrics, "bbikka bbunjjuck" is a Japanese expression". Although the expression just refers to something sparkly or shiny, since the broadcast station is pretty strict on enforcing proper spelling and expressions of the Korean language as it is funded by the government, Chrome Entertainment was asked to modify the expression to the corresponding Korean phrase

TVXQ Releases Japanese Album ‘Tree’ in Korea

TVXQ’s new Japanese album Tree was released in Korea on April 2.

After releasing Tree in Japan on March 5, TVXQ’s album ranked one on Oricon’s daily and weekly album charts and sold about 225,000 copies during the first week of the release.

This is TVXQ’s fourth time hitting no.1 on Oricon’s weekly album chart and the third time in a row that group sold over 200,000 copies of the full-length album in the first week of release.

Kim Soo Hyun Makes a Short Trip to Korea During Fan Meeting Tour

Currently on a fan meeting tour around Asia, Kim Soo Hyun made a short visit back to Korea on March 31, but continued to carry on with his busy schedules.

A rep from Keyeast Entertainment told enews on April 2, “Kim Soo Hyun arrived in Korea on March 31. He has been spending busy days filming commercials, doing interviews and looking over the project proposals.”

Beginning with Seoul fan meeting on March 16, Kim Soo Hyun launched a fan meeting tour around nine cities in seven countries. He recently finished his fan meetings in China, Taiwan and Thailand and came back to Korea temporarily on March 31. He will soon be leaving to continue the tour in cities around China, Indonesia, Singapore and Japan.
