Haru Transforms into a Little Bride on New Episode of “Superman Returns”

By in News posted Oct September 21st, 2014 No comments

On September 21, “Superman Returns” will air its 45th episode, “Meeting a New World.”

In the upcoming episode, Tablo and his daughter Haru will visit Minsok Village (a Korean folk village set up as a living museum of Joseon times). They will be reenacting a traditional wedding, and in the process Haru will be transforming into an adorable little bride.

In the released stills, Haru can be seen wearing a bright, colorful wedding garb that contrasts well with her white skin. It’s been said that Tablo couldn’t keep his eyes off his daughter, who had transformed into a cute yet elegant young bride.

But Haru just couldn’t help but be herself, as her attention was focused solely on the horse that had been prepared for the groom. Despite the fact that there was a palanquin prepared just for the bride, Haru gazed at the horse and asked, “What’s its name?” Eventually, she refused to ride in the palanquin

K-Drama Feature: Makjang
Love it or hate it, K-Dramas are rife with makjang, the Korean term for over the top or ridiculous subplots and coincidences that keep the viewers tuning in week after week. A drama doesn"t have to be terrible or illogical to be makjang, it could be extremely well-acted or tug at your heartstrings.

Despite the negative connotations, does it truly have to be a bad thing? There are some great dramas that are simply amazing to watch, but when you try and sit down to describe the plot, it seems to get, well, laughable. To wit, here are just a few entertaining dramas that have absolutely preposterous storylines (WARNING: SPOILERS AHEAD):

YoonA showed off her funny storytelling skills by reading the stories of Peter Pan to Chu Sa Rang, whereas Tiffany, Sooyoung and Taeyeon took her on an “airplane” ride with a blanket. On KBS show “Happy Together Season 3”, rapper Tablo’s sandwich made it on the menu chart as the 62nd dish on December 12. Tablo featured his Korean bacon sandwich on a corner on the show called “Late Night Snack Cafeteria”. His sandwich had butter, Korean bacon (sam-gyup-sal), ssam jjang (Korean red paper paste), and stir-fried kimchi in it. He named it, “For One Day, I Want to Be a Hearty Breakfast for Your Stomach, Ooohhh Baby”. A remix of a part of a song called “Hug” by DBSK. Also, Tablo’s daughter’s name is Haru which means “one day” in Korean.

Tablo explained that his wife actress Kang Hye Jung loves meat and bread. One day, they had a lot of bread which needed to be used, so they decided to make a sandwich out of it. Both were surprised that it was good.

MC Yoo Jae Suk, MC Park Myung Soo, and the other guests liked the sandwich
