Recently, Lee Min Ho’s character ‘Kim Tan’ in the hit drama SBS The Heirs has appeared in middle and high school exam question.
A middle school question read ‘Kim Tan has exchanged his defective book for a new one. Which of the following rights of consumers did he claim?’ and a high school exam question read ‘Which of the following is Kim Tan’s question from the conversation above?’
As it is unusual for a drama character to be used in exam questions, it proves Lee Min Ho’s rising popularity due to the drama.
Kim Tan has been used in advertisements as well. In a poster advertising an academy, Lee Min Ho’s picture was used, along with a parody line from the drama ‘Do I want to study with you?’
Meanwhile, Kim Tan’s exam results will be revealed in the upcoming episode of The Heirs, which has been getting a lot of fans’ attention, since he ranked as the last in his class in the previous exam
I am not sure what to say about this week’s episodes. It was just one big emotional blur with the occasional comical scene thrown in there. Things have come full circle and though I wanted to throw something at my computer screen, I am glad I didn’t. Fictional characters aren’t worth it, I am trying to convince myself this.
Young Do and Tan’s History Comes Full Circle
What do I mean by this? We know why Tan and Young Do’s friendship fell apart and we found out the moment that they both regretted was when it was Young Do’s last moment to see his mother. Tan regretted not trying hard enough to get Young Do and Young Do regretted worrying more about beating Tan than seeing his mom for the last time. When it was time for Young Do to find Tan, he does everything he can to make sure something like this won’t happen again by making sure Ki Ae was safe then finding Tan and giving them his car
Mi Rae’s Choice: Episode 16 Recap We’ve travelled all the way with our characters to the end of the line, but whether the journey is ultimately rewarding or even satisfying for characters and viewers alike… is up in the air.The final episode brings us back full circle as we once again consider the role of human choice in fate’s dictates. The running theme of “hope” also continues to drive Mi Rae’s motivations in her fight for her career and her dreams, but I find myself left with more questions and loose ends than answers, coupled with the unsettling feeling that hope is more often empty than it is fulfilled. EPISODE 16 (FINAL) RECAPEveryone waits with baited breath as Shin pauses for a seeming eternity over his prompts: Will he defy his superiors by reporting on the deadly humidifier sterilizing agent or will he remain quiet and choose self-preservation?Gathering himself, Shin finally begins to report… and it is not on the humidifier story, but on a more mundane matter
New stills released from SBS today show us Kim Tan (Lee Min Ho) and Cha Eun Sang (Park Shin Hye) bump into each other in front of the Dreamcatcher shop.
Stay tuned tonight on SBS to watch this scene and find out how Eun Sang is allowed back in Seoul and how they meet and why or how Tan decide to ignore her. Is it because he thought he is imagining her appearing before his eyes?
As we have learnt from last night’s episode that Eun Sang is hiding in some countryside and Tan decided to give her up so that she can have her normal life back. It tore him into pieces to give her up and he goes into self-destruction afterwards losing any hope or courage to live on because living is too unbearable for him in that house, being who he is

Kdrama Recap: The Heirs Episode 17 Recap by joonniEpisode 17 Tan ends up back at the empty apartment, the last place he saw Eun Sang, smiling back at him. He remembers what Dad said to him after the meeting- “Don’t forget this day. You lost that child today as the consequence of the sword you wielded.” Tears start to fall silently out of Tan’s eyes first, but as the sobs rise in his chest, Tan pants for breath and he falls on his knees. He clutches his chest as he cries. Tan walks the streets calling Eun Sang, but the operator is saying the phone number doesn’t exist. Tan weeps, going numb from the pain as he remembers Eun Sang saying bye to him with a smile at the apartment. Tan arrives home and goes to his dad. He tells him that Eun Sang is gone; he can’t find her
Today’s SBS first stills are the scene where Choi Young Do (Kim Woo Bin) found Cha Eun Sang (Park Shin Hye) from Episode 17 of The Heirs.
Hmm looks like Eun Sang didn’t call Young Do but how did he get to the police station and she goes to meet him there? We will see Tan feeling hurt in tonight’s episode while Young Do is calmer and both go on a search for Eun Sang. In this scene, Young Do is so glad that Eun Sang is well & alive that he could not contain himself and gave her a big bear hug.
I kind of understand how he feels because his mother left him without saying goodbye so he must be worried sick about his mother for years and what Eun Sang did mirrors that, thus, he is just happy that she is safe and he sees her again

I just realized that we have 2 weeks left until “The Heirs” ends..I’ll wait until everyone is done crying. No wonder all the action is coming in now, we have to get to that point when Won and Tan join forces to take down Chairman Kim. Dun dun dun!
Daddy Kim Truly Is Evil
This man wouldn’t care if his own children suffered as long as he feels like he’s “teaching” them a lesson. He made a fool out of Won and Tan at the shareholders meeting only to show them how powerful he is. Life is a game to him, and everyone around him are his game pieces and disposable
After teasing us with an exciting teaser a few days ago, a new and even more thrilling clip of Kim Soo Hyun and Jun Ji Hyun in the SBS’ drama “My Lover from the Stars” has been revealed!
“My Lover from the Stars” will be taking the time slot of “The Heirs” after the latter ends, and is gaining massive interest for its cast full of A-list actors and actresses. The teaser starts with Chun Song Yi (Jun Ji Hyun) looking cozy but glamorous while enjoying her coffee outside and saying, “My first love? I still remember him.” Next, the camera switches to a steamy bathroom where Do Min Joon (Kim Soo Hyun) is taking a shower, and soon you find yourself looking at him leaning closer and closer to the female superstar. Narration by Chun Song Yi goes, “Tall, handsome… It was just a short moment, but it felt very mysterious, and still friendly at the same time
Chairman Kim shows ES two airplane tickets. One ticket is for her to leave Tan right now and go where ever she wants. The other ticket will give her 2 weeks to see Tan as much as she wants. But at the end of the 2 weeks, Dad will send her where he wants. And it definitely won’t be anywhere in Korea. It will definitely be different from the U.S. and France. She can pick which ever ticket, but only one ticket will let her go up the stairs to Tan’s room.
While grocery shopping, ES’s mom is getting text messages from people she borrowed money from, thanking her for paying them back.
Back at the house, ES’s mom asks KA, “Did you give me the severance pay already?” This surprises KA- she doesn’t want ES’s mom to quit yet. She interviewed a few people today, but no one was good enough

According to AGB Nielsen Media Research, the November 27th episode of "Heirs" achieved a 19.8% viewer rating, which is a 2.3% decrease from its previous viewer rating of 22.1%, meaning the drama has dropped below the 20% viewer rating mark once again.
MBC"s "Medical Top Team" achieved a 5.5% viewer rating which is a 0.5% decrease from its previous 6.0% viewer rating last week, but it was able to rise to 2nd place finally after a long slump. This week was "pretty" exciting in K-drama land with the premiere of IU and Jang Geun Suk"s drama "Pretty Man", and the surpassing of the 20% viewer rating mark by "Heirs"!
