Lee Min Ho’s popularity in China is beyond what one would expect.
The March 26 broadcast of SBS’ One Night of TV Entertainment featured the popularity of Korean dramas and stars that have struck China.
Lee Min Ho started gaining popularity in the country starting with City Hunter in 2011 and caused a syndrome with The Heirs last year.
Advertisements featuring the actor can easily be spotted around Shanghai, including a street decorated with about 100 meters of Lee Min Ho′s face on both sides.
An expert in hallyu content revealed, “He was offered 500 million KRW (~460,000 USD) to act in each episode of a drama. Even if he can’t appear as the lead actor, they want him to appear as a cameo. Some places have even offered Lee Min Ho 500 million KRW to make a cameo appearance for just one day
On the last episode of of "EXO"s Showtime," EXO showed their acting skills by taking on a short scene from drama "Heirs."
The scene they did was when Kim Tan (Lee Min Ho) asked Eun Sang (Park Shin Hye) if he liked her. At first, Luhan played Kim Tan while Suho played Eun Sang, but that did not work out as both burst into laughter and Luhan jokingly claimed Suho was too ugly, so the boys switched it up. Tao stepped in for Suho to play Eun Sang.

This time, it was a success! After Luhan delivered his line perfectly and charismatically, he grabbed Tao for a sudden hug, which made the other members squeal and jump up in excitement. Check out the short clip above!

HE WAS TOO EARLY
On the February 13 episode of MBC Everyone‘s “EXO’s Showtime,” Luhan and Tao reenacted a scene from the SBS drama, “The Heirs.”
Luhan played Kim Tan while Suho played the part of Cha Eun Sang. However, glancing at Suho, Luhan said, “The female actress is too ugly. I can’t do this.” The other members of EXO switched Suho with Tao.
Tao stepped up to the front saying, “I’ll play Choi Young Do. But Luhan hugged him saying the infamous line from the drama, “Do I like you?”
The members of EXO cheered and laughed in excitement. Tao gave a dumbfounded expression from the shock of Luhan’s hug
A few weeks ago, WINNER released their hilarious take on SBS drama "Heirs," but now EXO will the next boy group to try their own parody! Luhan will be playing Lee Min Ho"s Kim Tan while Tao will be playing Park Shin Hye"s Eun Sang during the last episode of MBC"s "EXO"s Showtime," set to air on February 13.
Also in this episode, the members will talk about their disappointments during the last three months. Luhan said, "I am usually a manly guy, but I don"t think I showed that [on Showtime]," and said he would show his true, manly self while acting as Kim Tan in their parody of "Heirs." The members then chose Tao to play Eun Sang.
According to a broadcasting rep, Lu Tan (Luhan and Kim Tan) and Ta Eun Sang (Tao + Eun Sang) acted out a scene in which Kim Tan asks Eun Sang whether he likes her and does a surprise hug all with such sincere acting that the surrounding people were surprised

Lee Min Ho
The Heirs may be over, but actor Lee Min Ho is busier than ever
I did not watch every single drama that aired in Korea in 2013, but out of the ones I had watched, there was one that I was obsessed with that I already wrote about last week and one that I still don"t know how I managed to finish. For this week, I will finally unveil (I know the week-long wait must have been torture) which drama I was most disappointed with in 2013. Keep in mind once again that I did not watch every drama so this is what I consider the worst drama of 2013 out of the ones I"ve watched (SPOILERS BELOW).

MOST DISAPPOINTING K-DRAMA
There was a lot of hype for this drama and honestly... I think the only reason I managed to finish SBS"s "Heirs" was because of the eye candy
“Man from the Stars” continues to soar with high ratings, intriguing plot lines, and lovably flawed characters. Romantic feelings begin to develop between our lead characters, especially within the stoic Do Min Joon. Chun Song Yi faces increasing backlash for her rival’s death, but at least Min Joon never seems too far away to help. Flashbacks are beautifully interwoven with the present day events, providing a satisfying context for Min Joon and Song Yi’s fated relationship. Not only do the main characters shine, but the supporting cast and subplots combine to make a captivating story that leaves viewers on the edge of their seats.
10 Signs Min Joon Has Fallen for Song Yi
There’s no way around it- Min Joon is falling hard for our heroine. Having Song Yi stranded in his apartment overnight certainly didn’t hurt their budding relationship and with each interaction and flashback, we see Min Joon’s feelings develop more and more
RECAP: FIFTH RECORD
Min-joon saves Song-yi from falling overboard, and as he puts her to bed, she pulls him down to her to give him a kiss. She murmurs, “You’ve gone crazy,” but it’s more to herself than to him, believing herself to be dreaming him up. She hushes him from speaking and sighs, “Yeah, I was too lonely all this time and it’s been hard on my body. I’m even dreaming up sexy dreams now. It’s time I married. Hormones are honest.”Drifting off to sleep, Song-yi curls into Min-joon’s coat for warmth—the one he’s wearing, which pulls him even closer to her. Looking completely out of his element (well, even more than he is, for being an alien and all), Min-joon carefully extricates himself. As soon as he exits, he overhears scary hyung Jae-kyung confirming with his secretary that “it” has been completed, without witnesses, and that if not for somebody being greedy, he wouldn’t have had to do this
Lee Min Ho talked about acting alongside Kim Woo Bin in The Heirs.
After starring as an 18-year-old high schooler who throws out everything for love, Lee Min Ho talked about Kim Woo Bin, who acted as his rival and a friend throughout the drama.
In a recent interview with Newsen, Lee Min Ho said “I was in America to film the first four episodes and came back to Korea to film the fifth episode, and that’s when I met Kim Woo Bin for the first time.”
“The first time I acted with Kim Woo Bin, I could feel the energy out of him,” continued the actor. “I felt sure that the drama would involve an intense love triangle, if it was going to involve an actor like him. And I guessed right.”
As the popularity of the drama increased, many fans started dividing into fans of Lee Min Ho versus fans of Kim Woo Bin, with the press also focusing its attention on the two male actors in the drama

After dragging Song-yi out of her beauty salon confrontation with jealous rival Yura, Min-joon demands to know who the girl in Song-yi’s photo is. He’s already guessed the connection but needs the confirmation: “Who are you?”
A flashback to Joseon takes us to the aftermath of doppelganger Yi-hwa’s kidnapping. She asks him a string of questions about his identity, offering that she believes in other life forms (whether grim reapers or folk-tale creatures), and therefore he can be honest about his origins. Through it all, Min-joon just looks at her with an enigmatic smile.
Song-yi invites Min-joon home with her, wanting to take care of him in exchange for him saving her life, and leads the way
This is great news for all experiencing “The Heirs” withdrawal this past week as SBS will air a special on Christmas titled “The Heirs Christmas Edition – Withstand the Weight of Love.”
The Christmas special will last for two hours, and the episode title hints at all the romance in store. Can you imagine a whole two hours of romance like the photo below?
The SBS drama is a romantic comedy that has a star-studded cast featuring Lee Min Ho, Park Shin Hye, Kim Woo Bin, f(x)’s Krystal, CNBlue’s Kang Min Hyuk, Kim Ji Won, Kang Ha Neul, ZE:A’s Park Hyung Shik, Choi Jin Hyuk
On the December 21 episode of the MBC variety show “Infinity Challenge,” Big Bang member Daesung was invited as a guest on the special “Lonely Friends” episode. Along with other guests Ji Sang Ryul, Kim Young Chul, Kim Na Young, Park Hwee Soon, Girls’ Generation’s Sunny, Brown Eyed Girls‘ Narsha, Jin Goo, Ryu Seung Soo, Ahn Young Mi, Shin Sung Woo, and Kim Jae Dong, Daesung came dressed to the nines for the holiday party.
The “Infinity Challenge” members began to tease Daesung about his outfit and looks upon his entrance to the party, asking him why he didn’t come to last year’s “Ugly Friends” special. Daesung countered loudly that he didn’t belong in that show; besides, K
Although his character from The Heirs grew up with no love, Kim Woo Bin said that is not the case for him.
On December 18, Vogue Girl magazine released photos of Kim Woo Bin, who posed quite comfortably as he shot out charisma with his simple glances.
It’s said that it was on the photo shoot of this magazine that he watched the last episode of The Heirs, making the interview focus a little on his character, Choi Young Do.
“Unlike Choi Young Do in The Heirs, I was raised with a lot of love from my parents,” said Kim Woo Bin. “We even have a family Kakaotalk chat room. And I’m really close with my little sister who is three years younger than I am.”
Now that the drama was over, he was asked what kind of things he wants to try these days
The new SBS drama “Man from the Stars” kicked off on December 18 taking over the Wednesday/Thursday time slot from Heirs. I will be covering this fantasy rom-com for Soompi on a weekly basis. Please be sure to check in and share your thoughts about this drama!
When Do Min Joon landed on Earth 400 years ago, he didn’t realize how much he would dislike living there. He doesn’t age, making it very hard to build relationships with other people, and his super abilities like extra sensitive hearing and the power to stop time don’t seem to do him much good. It’s understandable that over time Min Joon has developed a very cynical outlook towards human life. How will this viewpoint change as he interacts with the loud and opinionated actress Chun Song Yi? As fate would have it, these two already have a deep connection, a connection which spans over 400 years

MBC’s new drama “Miss Korea” debuted with 7% of viewership, up 1.7% from the final episode of “Medical Top Team” ratings last Thursday.
KBS2′s “Beautiful Man” is still struggling with 3.5% of the viewership

Answer Me 1994 Recap - Episode 15 by Dramabeans:
With all the husband hullaballoo, sometimes the secondary characters feel a bit too secondary, but then they’ll step to the fore with something really sweet. It’s easy to get caught up in the Oppa-Chilbongie wars (omg you guys are killing me with them), but this drama has a lot more to offer than fanwars and shipping, which is actually why I think it’s doing itself a disservice to be so coy with the “Who is he?” gimmick. Because when the show is all about the small, revealing character moments, it’s totally got my heart.
EPISODE 15: “The people who changed me, Part 2″

Actor Lee Min Ho, who recently wrapped up filming of his hit SBS drama “The Heirs,” left a message and video on his official Facebook account, saying goodbye to the drama and his character, Kim Tan, and cheering on his fans.
Lee Min Ho wrote, “I was happy the past four months as Kim Tan. I hope that everyone also gains courage from ‘The Heirs’- forward!” “Forward” was one the phrases that Kim Tan liked to say to Cha Eun Sang (Park Shin Hye) when he was asking her to have courage.
The actor also revealed a behind the scenes video of the last day of shooting of “The Heirs,” which shows Lee Min Ho saying goodbye and thanking the staff of the drama. Though it was a blustery and snowy day in Seoul, the bright smiles of Lee Min Ho and the staff could not be kept down.
In the video at around the 0:13 mark, Lee Min Ho is asked what Kim Tan is to him

Well the time has come, “The Heirs” has finished. If you want to cry, we’ll have a moment of silence for those going through early withdrawal symptoms. We didn’t get a terrible ending, not everyone got a happy ending, but it wasn’t too open that left me guessing. I don’t like being left guessing after an ending, it feels so unsatisfying. So what were some major moments and some of my favorite scenes from the final week? Let’s find out.
Won and Hyun Joo Break Up
Can’t say I didn’t see this one coming, we had all the signs in what little screen time our Tan/Eun Sang mirrored couple had
