The Heirs Episode 17 Dramago
It’s all about the ladies in this week’s short list of Star of the Week nominees, but we also threw in one ladies man, so read on and cast your vote for your favorite star!
Park Shin Hye
With an October 9 premiere on the horizon, the cast of upcoming SBS drama The Heirs has been hard at work on the set of the star-studded drama.
While the drama boasts a colorful cast of talented idols, we’re highlighting Korea’s sweetheart Park Shin Hye as she takes the lead role, playing Cha Eun Song, a hardworking lower class girl.
As the National Foundation Day of Korea came to a close, so did SBS’ Master’s Sun, which ended its series of ghosts, mystery, and love.
Master’s Sun achieved its highest ratings thus far with 21.8 percent, finally breaking in the twenties. The last episode wrapped up loose ends and brought Joo Joong Won (So Ji Sub) and Tae Gong Shil (Gong Hyo Jin) together, providing the sweetest scenes that provoked some squirming and jealousy at the same time.
The fall TV lineup has us excited with storylines that will probably suck us in (goodbye social life) and, of course, pretty idol stars.
From medical dramas to time slip pieces, there’s something for everyone this season, and while we can’t seem to settle on a favorite, we want to know which drama you’re looking forward to the most.
Medical Top Team
Like the title suggests, MBC’s upcoming drama Medical Top Team boasts a top star cast, including Kwon Sang Woo, Jung Ryeo Won, Joo Ji Hoon and SHINee’s Minho.
A new week means it’s time to name another Star of the Week, so read on for this week’s nominees and don’t forget to vote!
Lee Min Ho
We’re just days away from the premiere of SBS’ The Heirs, which means we will soon be seeing a lot of the drama’s male lead and Korea’s resident flower boy Lee Min Ho.
The drama has already gathered much interest for its star-studded cast, and at this point, we just want to get on with the show and see Lee Min Ho in action.
The SNS world was filled with selca updates galore, and we have all of the stars’ pretty faces in today’s Twitter Roundup.
Teen Top’s Changjo tweeted a selca on October 10 to update fans, writing “You worried a lot huh ~ I was going through a hard time because of personal reasons, but I’m better now~~~ Sorry ㅠㅠ I know I made you worry, but I’m back now so worry no no.”
Super Junior’s Donghae tweeted the above photo of Eunhyuk on October 9, writing “My loving friend Eunhyuk is the MC of the Asia Song Festival!! ELF will protect you!! Do well^^ Fighting!!”

Flaunting off his beautiful self, Kim Woo Bin sported a Judo uniform and heated up the gym with a match with his onscreen father, Choi Jin Ho.
Kim Woo Bin plays the hotel heir, Choi Young Do, while Choi Jin Ho playshotel owner, Choi Dong Wook in SBS’ The Heirs.
In the first and second episode, the engagement between Choi Dong Wook (Choi Jin Ho) and Esther (Yoon Son Ha) showed that Ra Hael (Kim Ji Won) and Young Do (Kim Woo Bin) will be becoming step-siblings.
With romance already sparking within the second episode, Lee Min Ho and Park Shin Hye donned couple t-shirts in an upcoming episode of SBS’ The Heirs.
Lee Min Ho and Park Shin Hye are currently filming for The Heirs as the characters Kim Tan and Cha Eun Sang, who lead different lives as a company heir and a poverty heiress. Beginning with the first episode on October 9, the drama has already been raising the bar on romance for Wednesday and Thursday nights.
I can’t wait for the next set of episodes to be air this week.. I am always anxious and looking on the net if there would be a preview of the upcoming episodes. And I am so happy to find one.
cr: Musings of a Twinkie
Eun Sang: Are you all right?
Tan: I’m not all right.
Eun Sang: (inside a room while Tan starts to change his shirt) Is your goal to have us be misunderstood as a couple?
Tan: Don’t even dream of it.
Rachel: (to Young Do) Tan is doing well.
It’s October, and the three main broadcasting companies have fielded new dramas. KBS2’s “Future Choice” starts on October 14, and SBS’ “The Heirs” and MBC’s “Medical Top Team” started on October 9. While all three dramas have their own charm, they all happen to have one thing in common – idol group members with major roles.
“Future Choice” Jung Yong Hwa
Four-member band CNBlue’s leader and main vocalist Jung Yong Hwa (25 years old) has a leading role for the third time. Prior to CNBlue’s Korean debut in 2009, he played Kang Shin Woo in SBS’ “You’re Beautiful,” earning him the nickname “Towel Guy.” He then went on to play male lead Lee Shin in MBC’s “Heartstrings.” In “Future Choice,” he plays the role of Park Se Joo, disguising himself as a maknae VJ. Acting alongside the likes of Yoon Eun Hye, Lee Dong Gun, and Han Chae Ah, Jung Yong Hwa will show off dual sides with his gentle charm as a rookie VJ and another side as a charismatic, cold chaebol heir.
Yoo Jae Suk tried to provoke Kim Jong Kook once again by bringing up Yoon Eun Hye.
On October 6, SBS’s variety program “Running Man” aired an episode featuring Park Shin Hye, Choi Jin Hyuk, and Kim Woo Bin, a few actors from upcoming drama “The Heirs.”
“Running Man” members and the actors were split up into groups to play several rounds of games. During one of the games, Yoo Jae Suk looked at Kim Jong Kook, who was part of Song Ji Hyo’s team, and said, “Miss You [Yoon] Eun Hye yah.”
Speeding into romance from the start, Lee Min Ho and Park Shin Hye spent the night together in SBS’ The Heir.
On October 11, the cast and staff of the The Heirs filmed the ‘bed scene’ on a drama set located in Gyeongi’s Tanhyeon.
Although quite playful with each other before the shooting, once the action sign fell, Lee Min Ho and Park Shin Hye had hearts fluttering everywhere as they played out a nervous and romantic scene.
We’re extremely thankful for the eye candy in SBS’ The Heirs, but it’s true that we rolled our eyes at the lack of action on Wednesday night.
In the previous episode, The Heirs left us on our toes with a sudden movie theater confession by Kim Tan (Lee Min Ho), which ended up being quickly overlooked by Cha Eun Sang (Park Shin Hye). While, it’s probably something that would happen in real life is a complete stranger sudden confesses his love for you, but the disappointment continued with the lack of any major events with Kim Tan’s big brother and bratty fiancée issues – which we already knew from earlier episodes.
Kim Tan (Lee Min Ho), who looks around indifferently, notices Eun Sang (Park Shin Hye) from the back and his heart stops. Eun Sang, who doesn’t realize that Rachel (Kim Ji Won) is near, ignores her angrily calling out for her and heads straight to the departure gate without turning back. Meanwhile, Tan is left alone and he looks to be very lonely…
Madam Han: You, who can’t even birth children..
Jung Ji Sook: *slap* Should we witness how Tan, his hyung’s rival, took care of his mom?
Rachel: He said that he’s been living carefree and doing well.
Yoon Jae Ho: Why would a tiger leave his own cave…
Kim Nam Joon: Unban your brother from exile.
Tan: I came.
Tan: The things you’ve worried about, hyung, won’t happen.
Choi Dong Wook:
Eun Sang’s mother: This is the place where we’re living.
Eun Sang: Are you out of your mind?!
Myung Soo: Do you live here?
Myung Soo: *thinks* Did Tan move?
Madan Han: Now you can’t even use your eyes?
Eun Sang: I’ll go instead.
Madam Han: Really? You have to do that much to repay for rent.
Tan: I keep seeing something like the back of a girl..
Madam Han: Don’t getup, daughter. Let’s live here together.
Idol group VIXX is set to cameo on SBS’ drama “The Heirs” (written by Kim Eun Sook and directed by Kang Shin Hyo).
The cameo resulted from a request by the producing PD, who has been keeping an eye on VIXX’s Hongbin. VIXX will appear on the fourth episode of “The Heirs,” which will air on October 17. They will play a group preparing for a concert organized by Mega Entertainment, whose president is Bo Na’s (Krystal Jung) father.
We love Los Angeles, but leaving it was the best decision SBS’ The Heirs made, and the viewers agree.
Thursday night’s episode brought in 11.5 percent in ratings with progression finally being made between the characters. With Kim Tan’s return to Korea, the story became a bit more complex, creating anticipation for the following episode where, judging from the preview, boys will be chasing after Cha Eun Sang from every other direction.
Also, the picture of Kim Tan’s complex family tree is slowly beginning to be drawn out, unfolding the reason behind the cold relationship between the two Kim brothers.
Hi, another great episode to share with. Enjoy!
ES walks into airport to see R hugging T. She turns to leave, but Tan sees her and calls out to her. “Cha Eun Sang, stop right there.”
Eun Sang turns around. T says bye to R, and walks over to ES, R completely forgotten now. T yells at ES for not calling. He wants her number from her. ES looks at R. She says to T that she thanked him and already said bye so don’t leave his fiancé like that to ask her something like that. ES walks past T and R. R looks at T, realizing more how much T likes ES already.

We are the the airport. ES runs into Rachel hugging KT., suddenly turning away. KT calls out her name, “Stop there, Eunsang”. Rachel seems stunned by this. KT says, “Return home safely” and immediately and goes over to ES. “Why didn’t you call me?” ES: “Why did you want to talk about?” KT hands his cellphone to ES and says, “give me your number”. ES: “Thank you for everything. Take good care of your fiance. Farewell.” And goes on to board the plane.

We are back at the theater, with KT translating the exchange taking place in the movie.
KT: Do you like me?
ES and KT just gaze at each other. ES says “probably not.” KT: “Why?” ES: “Because you are engaged.” KT: “even so.” ES: and you look younger. KT: “But that happens often in Hollywood. ES: “We’re in Hollywood????”
KT and ES are outside, where they see the Hollywood sign. ES: “We’re at Hollywood!!” (lollll that transition knocked me off).
