On the February 13 episode of MBC Everyone‘s “EXO’s Showtime,” Luhan and Tao reenacted a scene from the SBS drama, “The Heirs.”
Luhan played Kim Tan while Suho played the part of Cha Eun Sang. However, glancing at Suho, Luhan said, “The female actress is too ugly. I can’t do this.” The other members of EXO switched Suho with Tao.
Tao stepped up to the front saying, “I’ll play Choi Young Do. But Luhan hugged him saying the infamous line from the drama, “Do I like you?”
The members of EXO cheered and laughed in excitement. Tao gave a dumbfounded expression from the shock of Luhan’s hug
A few weeks ago, WINNER released their hilarious take on SBS drama "Heirs," but now EXO will the next boy group to try their own parody! Luhan will be playing Lee Min Ho"s Kim Tan while Tao will be playing Park Shin Hye"s Eun Sang during the last episode of MBC"s "EXO"s Showtime," set to air on February 13.
Also in this episode, the members will talk about their disappointments during the last three months. Luhan said, "I am usually a manly guy, but I don"t think I showed that [on Showtime]," and said he would show his true, manly self while acting as Kim Tan in their parody of "Heirs." The members then chose Tao to play Eun Sang.
According to a broadcasting rep, Lu Tan (Luhan and Kim Tan) and Ta Eun Sang (Tao + Eun Sang) acted out a scene in which Kim Tan asks Eun Sang whether he likes her and does a surprise hug all with such sincere acting that the surrounding people were surprised
EXO’s Lu Han and Tao will be transforming into The Heirs’ Kim Tan and Cha Eun Sang, respectively.
February 13’s episode of MBC Every1’s EXO’s Showtime will show the EXO members looking back at the regrettable moments of the show in the past three months.
Lu Han said, “I regret that I haven’t been able to show my manly side on EXO’s Showtime,” determined to show his ‘tough’ side through the parody of The Heirs.
Having revealed himself a hardcore fan of The Heirs in a previous interview, Lu Han volunteered himself to take the role of Kim Tan, while Tao was chosen to parody Cha Eun Sang, to receive a sweet confession from ‘Kim Tan’ Lu Han.
It has been reported that ‘Lu Tan’ and ‘Ta Eun Sang’ faced each in the parody, with Lu Han parodying Kim Tan’s famous line, ‘Do I like you?’ along with a charismatic hug

I did not watch every single drama that aired in Korea in 2013, but out of the ones I had watched, there was one that I was obsessed with that I already wrote about last week and one that I still don"t know how I managed to finish. For this week, I will finally unveil (I know the week-long wait must have been torture) which drama I was most disappointed with in 2013. Keep in mind once again that I did not watch every drama so this is what I consider the worst drama of 2013 out of the ones I"ve watched (SPOILERS BELOW).

MOST DISAPPOINTING K-DRAMA
There was a lot of hype for this drama and honestly... I think the only reason I managed to finish SBS"s "Heirs" was because of the eye candy
RECAP: FIFTH RECORD
Min-joon saves Song-yi from falling overboard, and as he puts her to bed, she pulls him down to her to give him a kiss. She murmurs, “You’ve gone crazy,” but it’s more to herself than to him, believing herself to be dreaming him up. She hushes him from speaking and sighs, “Yeah, I was too lonely all this time and it’s been hard on my body. I’m even dreaming up sexy dreams now. It’s time I married. Hormones are honest.”Drifting off to sleep, Song-yi curls into Min-joon’s coat for warmth—the one he’s wearing, which pulls him even closer to her. Looking completely out of his element (well, even more than he is, for being an alien and all), Min-joon carefully extricates himself. As soon as he exits, he overhears scary hyung Jae-kyung confirming with his secretary that “it” has been completed, without witnesses, and that if not for somebody being greedy, he wouldn’t have had to do this
The live blog team is currently running on dangerous amounts of caffeine, and I’m pretty sure I just saw a purple elephant fly by the window but the show must go on. So far we’ve covered the all three Entertainment Awards from KBS, SBS, and MBC, the SBS Gayo Daejun, and the MBC Drama Awards. Now, we will be ending the year with a bang by proving live blog coverage of the 2013 SBS Drama Awards AND the 2013 KBS Drama Awards, which are airing later today at the same time.
First, I’m going to shake my fists at these broadcasters for not separating their awards out. After that’s done, we’re happy to announce that we will be covering both awards at the same time here at Soompi. This is going to be an interesting way of finishing the year, that’s for sure
Sunday night was a miraculous night with 125 singers gathering on one stage together at the 2013 SBS Gayo Awards.
The music ceremony brought all the popular singers who have promoted in 2013 from Big Bang’s G-Dragon to Lee Seung Chul.
Not only did these artists put on spectacular collaborations and performances, they also gathered for 2013 Gayo Awards Friendship Project, revealing the results through a music video and a stage performance, which concluded the four-hour program.
The music ceremony included a hilarious three episode drama, spoofing The Heirs and Master’s Sun with cheesy yet funny acting from the idols.
Meanwhile, the 2013 MBC Entertainment Awards took place at the same time
Kim Ji Won took on the spoiled rich girl role as Rachel Yoo in “The Heirs,” a departure from previous roles playing good girls. In an interview with My Daily, she talked about her role in the drama, as well as shared her thoughts on the drama pairings.
Kim Ji Won watched writer Kim Eun Sook’s previous works to prepare for her character, and thought that Park Min Sook (Kim Jung Nan) from “A Gentleman’s Dignity” would be what Rachel would be like when she grew up.
In person, Kim Ji Won is the exact opposite of Rachel Yoo. While Rachel Yoo comes straight to the point, and always says what she wants to say, Kim Ji Won comes across as being surprisingly shy. She doesn’t get angry easily, and she thinks about saying something for a while before she says it, so she says she’s missed the opportunity to speak up many times
On December 26, several Chinese publications reported that a movie/television production company in China has already bought publication rights to “The Heirs” and will soon start filming. The drama is set to begin filming in January, and will be a collaboration between Chinese producer Li Shao Hong and Korean director Oh Sang Won. The actors who will follow-up Lee Min Ho, Park Shin Hye, and Kim Woo Bin have not yet been determined.
SBS’s “The Heirs” recently aired its final episode on December 20, after a hugely successful run for the drama as well as its main actors.
This past November, “The Heirs” production company Hwa & Dam Pictures revealed that they signed a foreign production contract for the highest price in Korean drama history, and that the interest for “The Heirs” is crazy in not only Korea, but abroad, as well

A flashback to Joseon takes us to the aftermath of doppelganger Yi-hwa’s kidnapping. She asks him a string of questions about his identity, offering that she believes in other life forms (whether grim reapers or folk-tale creatures), and therefore he can be honest about his origins. Through it all, Min-joon just looks at her with an enigmatic smile.
Song-yi invites Min-joon home with her, wanting to take care of him in exchange for him saving her life, and leads the way
You Who Came From the Stars parodied The Heirs in its most recent episode, surprising many viewers.
In the third episode of SBS’s You Who Came From the Stars, top star Chun Song Yi, played by Jun Ji Hyun, was visited by her camera-loving mother at the hospital.
After being kicked out of the room by her daughter for faking her tears in front of the reporters, Yang Mi Yeon talks to Cheon Song Yi’s manager about re-signing a contract with the agency in place of her daughter.
“Well I don’t know if I should sign with you guys since Jeguk Entertainment has been calling me to scout her. And you know I like new things,” says Cheon Song Yi’s mother.
Jeguk Entertainment was one of the businesses that Lee Min Ho’s father owned in The Heirs

The Heirs will be presenting fans with a Christmas present by airing a special episode on December 25.
The SBS hit drama The Heirs which aired its final episode on December 12, is still being remembered and missed by numerous fans.
In order to return the love of the fans, SBS decided to include a special edition of the drama under the title The Heirs Christmas Edition with the subtitle ‘Withstand the weight of love,’ instead of the original ‘Withstand the weight of the crown.’
It has been reported that the special episode will mostly feature the romance between the characters.

Here we go with first stills of tvN’s new romance drama Emergency Couple, taken from its recent teaser shoots. The drama stars Choi Jin-hyuk (Heirs, Gu Family Book) and Song Ji-hyo (Mandate of Heaven) as ex-spouses who reconnect on the job—as doctors in the same emergency room. (Let’s just hope all the romancing happens around the doctoring, because I’d at least like to preserve my illusions that when I go in for medical care, that’s what my doctors are thinking about.)
We’ll have to go on faith that these two will make a cute couple, but as they’re both actors with a lot of personal charm, I’m remaining hopeful. (Fine, I’m always hopeful. I know this. Sometimes this is a cause of more grief than comfort, but what can I say, I always want things to be good
On the December 21 episode of the MBC variety show “Infinity Challenge,” Big Bang member Daesung was invited as a guest on the special “Lonely Friends” episode. Along with other guests Ji Sang Ryul, Kim Young Chul, Kim Na Young, Park Hwee Soon, Girls’ Generation’s Sunny, Brown Eyed Girls‘ Narsha, Jin Goo, Ryu Seung Soo, Ahn Young Mi, Shin Sung Woo, and Kim Jae Dong, Daesung came dressed to the nines for the holiday party.
The “Infinity Challenge” members began to tease Daesung about his outfit and looks upon his entrance to the party, asking him why he didn’t come to last year’s “Ugly Friends” special. Daesung countered loudly that he didn’t belong in that show; besides, K
Although his character from The Heirs grew up with no love, Kim Woo Bin said that is not the case for him.
On December 18, Vogue Girl magazine released photos of Kim Woo Bin, who posed quite comfortably as he shot out charisma with his simple glances.
It’s said that it was on the photo shoot of this magazine that he watched the last episode of The Heirs, making the interview focus a little on his character, Choi Young Do.
“Unlike Choi Young Do in The Heirs, I was raised with a lot of love from my parents,” said Kim Woo Bin. “We even have a family Kakaotalk chat room. And I’m really close with my little sister who is three years younger than I am.”
Now that the drama was over, he was asked what kind of things he wants to try these days
The new SBS drama “Man from the Stars” kicked off on December 18 taking over the Wednesday/Thursday time slot from Heirs. I will be covering this fantasy rom-com for Soompi on a weekly basis. Please be sure to check in and share your thoughts about this drama!
When Do Min Joon landed on Earth 400 years ago, he didn’t realize how much he would dislike living there. He doesn’t age, making it very hard to build relationships with other people, and his super abilities like extra sensitive hearing and the power to stop time don’t seem to do him much good. It’s understandable that over time Min Joon has developed a very cynical outlook towards human life. How will this viewpoint change as he interacts with the loud and opinionated actress Chun Song Yi? As fate would have it, these two already have a deep connection, a connection which spans over 400 years
Gallup Korea interviewed 1702 people of both genders over the age of 13 between November 1 and 18. They asked interviewees to name two actors or actresses who were outstanding in 2013. Gallup Korea released the results of their survey on December 17.
2013’s top two spots were taken by married couple Lee Bo Young and Ji Sung, with 11.0% and 8.1% of votes respectively. Lee Bo Young and Ji Sung have had a great 2013, each starring in well-received dramas and finally getting married after a seven-year romance. They received support across all age groups, but were most popular amongst those in their 30s and 40s.
In first place, Lee Bo Young has had two huge hits this year, with KBS daily drama “My Daughter Seo Young” and SBS drama “I Hear Your Voice
