Infinity Challenge’s” members held a successful music festival in front of a crowd of 35,000.

On October 17, MBC’s “Infinity Challenge’s” music festival opened at the city of Paju’s Peaceful World Park in Im Jin Gak. Despite the production staffs’ efforts to maintain the secrecy of the location, the music festival’s location was leaked to the public causing 35,000 people to attend the music concert. The relaxed, but enthusiastic atmosphere and the crowd sitting around the grass made the music festival like any other rock festival. The performances continued through the energetic mood of the festival.

Ailee Will Keep her Promise with Fans and Attend MelOn Music Awards

Though Ailee is in the midst of a nude photo scandal, the young singer has decided to keep her promise to her fans.

Ailee will attend the ‘MelOn Music Awards’ ceremony as planned on November 14 to receive an award as one of the top 10 artists of the year.

This was not an easy decision as Ailee has gone through one of the toughest moments in her life when nude photos of her were posted online.

The YMC Entertainment, Ailee’s agency, reported, “Ailee is having a hard time now, but she also thinks that she cannot live away from the stage as a singer. Even though this isn’t the right time, she wants to keep her word with the fans and celebrate the honor of receiving an award.”

Dramas Fail to Increase in Ratings

Our dramas had a bad case of the Monday blues as there was no increase for any of the three primetime dramas.

MBC’s Empress Ki continued its reign as number one, but did drop a bit from its previous ratings of 18.8 percent.

SBS’ A Warm Word stayed where it was with 8.6, while KBS’ Prime Minister and I dropped to 5.9, returning to its first episode ratings.

On the variety side, however, KBS’ Hello saw an increase from 8.0 percent to 8.7. SBS’ Healing Camp also went up from 5.9 to 6.9 percent.

SBS’ Suspicious Housekeeper closed its curtains on Tuesday night. There were no twists or romance, but a strong emphasis on familial love.

While the drama starred big names, like Choi Ji Woo and Lee Sung Jae, the drama wasn’t able to pull in big ratings, perhaps due to the popularity of Empress Ki and KBS’ Good Doctor.

Viewers also couldn’t help but to compare Suspicious Housekeeper with the original Japanese dorama, Kaseifu no Mita.

tvN’s “Nunas Over Flowers” uploaded their second poster picture on their official Facebook page on November 28, along with the text, “Would you like to go on vacation with me?” The poster depicts the cast of nunas and Lee Seung Gi sitting on a flight of stairs in the course of their vacation.

There’s a leisurely lazy atmosphere. Everyone is holding a cup of coffee while sitting comfortably on the steps. The four nunas, Yoon Yeo Jung, Kim Ja Ok, Kim Hee Ae and Lee Mi Yeon, have all eyes on Seung Gi, and have satisfied looks on their faces, while Seung Gi appears to be looking intently at his map.

EPISODE 13 RECAP
by La Petite

Se Joo walks into the meeting room, introduces himself as Miranda’s grandson who inherits her blood and money but there is one thing that cannot be inherited and that is a challenging mind. He delivers an ambitious speech of his plans for making YBS into a media station that keeps challenging itself and into a media conglomerate that is recognized worldwide.

Mi Rae tries to get a grip of herself in the ladies after getting officially rejected by Shin, Writer Bae walks in and queries her regarding her Christmas date. Meanwhile, PD Lee wakes up from his little drooling nap (yes, there is drool on the desk) and sees Se Joo looking down on him, frowning. LOL. PD Lee obviously has no idea and continues to mock Se Joo but changes tone straight away and shuns Se Joo aside when the vice director enters the office. Oppa enters seconds later and pays his respect at Se Joo awkwardly and using Jondaemal. PD Lee thinks it was some kind of joke and takes him awhile to grasp the truth. Mi Rae is the last to enter the office and sees Se Joo.

Still scrapping at the bottom of the ratings chart, KBS’ Marry Him If You Dare continued its reign over the third place.

While it ranked last, Marry Him If You Dare did see a slight improvement from 4.3 to 4.7 percent after a continuous streak downward. However, with only one more episode to go, there’s little chance that the drama will climb up to second place.

Meanwhile, SBS’ A Warm Word debuted at second with 6.8 percent.

‘Marry Him If You Dare’ Leaves People Speechless with Final Episode

It’s finally the end for KBS’ Marry Him If You Dare and people are just plain speechless. Maybe even a little angry, which explains the lowest rating the drama has received during its run.

The final episode of Marry Him If You Dare, or Future Choice/Mirae’s Choice if going by the Korean title, left an open-ended conclusion with Mirae (Yun Eun Hye) not making a choice on who she loves.

With the whole point of the drama revolving around who Mirae will marry, the ending proved to be quite disappointing as both candidates (Lee Dong Gun and Jung Yong Hwa) still had a possibility of being the future husband of Mirae at the of the series.

Answer Me 1994: Episode 14 by Drama Beans: “The people who changed me, Part 1″

2013. The houseguests start getting hungry, and the boys prod Binggeure to pay for some food (I’m taking that as a good sign that he’s successful). He pretends not to know what they’re talking about, so they call out Chilbongie next, who defers to Garbage because he’s eldest. Heh.

So Garbage gets up to get his wallet (interesting), and then Na-jung hands the folder of takeout menus to Chilbongie, who calls to make the order (iiiinnnnnteresting). Garbage tells him to add some soju to the order, only to have Na-jung scream at him for drinking too much.

“Medical Top Team” Episode 1 Recap by Couch-Kimchi:

I haven’t seen much posted about MBC’s Wed/Thurs drama “Medical Top Team” (which is up against “Secret” and “Heirs”) so I decided to check it out for myself. I was excited Joo Ji Hoon is back in dramaland but I hate his hair in this one. Whoever the stylist is for Ji Hoon (and Woo Bin in “Heirs”) that believes helmet-hair is a good look should be immediately fired – both guys look horrible. But that’s totally off topic and my own personal opinion. Medical Top Team turned out to be intriguing enough that I find myself looking forward to the next episodes.

Empress Ki: Episode 1 – 2 recap by daebakdramas

Empress Ki/Hwatu/기황후 started last week after MBC’s previous sageuk drama (and sadly snooze-fest) “Goddess of Fire Jung Yi”. I consider this a one-off recap for now since Empress Ki will be 50 episodes long and I don’t know if I can hold out that long… Sageuks in general tend to lose me after the first 16 episodes. However the three main actors are strong leads (love Ha Ji Won) so perhaps this will fare better than “Goddess of Fire”… Which didn’t even have a great ending. Oh well, at least Kim Bum got the girl in real life.

‘Prime Minister’ Kicks Off; ‘Empress’ Hits 20 Percent

Picking up where Marry Him If You Dare left up, KBS’ new drama, Prime Minister and I kicked off.

With Marry Him If You Dare ending at a low 4.1 percent, anything seemed better and Prime Minister and I didn’t disappoint with a 5.9 percent for its debut episode.

It’s too soon to tell if Prime Minister and I will continue rising, but the first episode showed potential to at least grab second place, since SBS A Warm Word raked in 6.8 percent.

The Prime Minister and I” has a decent premiere in the ratings taking in more than 5% of viewers.

According to the Nielson Korea ratings, the first episode of KBS2‘s “Prime Minister and I” brought in approximate 5.9% of viewers, placing it third among Mon-Tues dramas.

This is an increase from the previous drama “Marry Him if You Dare” that occupied the same time slot on KBS2. The last episode of “Marry Him if You Dare” brought in 4.1% of viewers, giving KBS2 an1.8% increase in viewership for the time slot.

Is the curse of Marry Him If You Dare still lingering behind?

After an okay premiere, KBS’ Prime Minister and I went from 5.9 percent to 5.4 percent overnight.

But as there has been only two episodes aired so far, it’s too soon to tell which direction the drama will go, especially since MBC’s Empress Ki also dropped a bit.

The only drama that saw an increase was SBS A Warm Word, which went from 6.8 to 8.3.
