It"s unusual when there is a tie in the ratings for first place but that"s what happened this week. The romantic comedy about a destined love and the historical drama about a swordfighter who takes up a gun were tied for first place among viewers.

"The Joseon Gunman" and "Fated To Love You" each netted 11.5 percent in the Nielsen ratings. "The Joseon Gunman," starring Lee Jun Ki and Nam Sang Mi, has been in first place for a while, but "Fated To Love You" has slowly been catching up. This week "The Joseon Gunman" rose slightly with a bump up from 10.8 percent. The jump was bigger for "Fated To Love You" as it rose from 9.9 percent.

The comedy started out on a silly note with some slapstick-bizarre plot twists but then settled into a touching and heart-wrenching romance about two people meant to unite despite the odds

SBS drama “My Lovely Girl” featuring f(x)’s Krystal and Rain releases 2nd video teaser

A second video teaser has been released for the upcoming fall K-drama, “My Lovely Girl”, starring Rain and f(x)’s Krystal.

After Rain revealed shots of the drama and the first video teaser, a new teaser has been released. In the teaser read the captions, “The lost memories of a past love… a melody from my memories… I want you to listen to it.

"My Lovely Girl" is a drama about a young man and woman who have suffered setbacks in the entertainment industry, and help to heal each other’s emotional wounds, slowly falling in love through music.

The first broadcast of “My Lovely Girl” is slated for September 17th on SBS after “It’s Okay, It’s Love” ends its run.

TV ratings for "Fated To Love You" and "Joseon Gunman" came in at a tie in its time slot this week.



According to AGB Nielsen Media ResearchMBC"s "Fated To Love You" achieved a 11.5% viewer rating for its Thursday episode which is a 1.6% increase from its previous viewer rating of 9.9% for its Wednesday episode.


KBS 2TV"s "Joseon Gunman" also achieved a 11.5% viewer rating for its Thursday episode which is a 0.7% increase from its previous viewer rating of 10.8% for its Wednesday episode.


SBS" "It"s Okay, That"s Love" also rose 0.6% from a 9.1% viewer rating on Wednesday to a 9.7% viewer rating on Thursday
