Lee Hyori Opens Up About Pressure to Look Good in the Public Eye

On the July 29 broadcast of SBS’ talk show “Magic Eye,” Lee Hyori and the show’s other MCs and guests engaged in a discussion on the topic of “appearance,” including the pressure to look good as a celebrity in the public eye.

During their discussion, Lee Hyori shared a behind-the-scenes story about what happened after she took part in a lingerie photo shoot.

She explained, “I once shot a lingerie advertisement. It was a photo shoot where I sat at a desk, and after seeing the photos, a 36-year-old housewife, who’s the same age as me, left a comment saying, ‘I’m envious that her stomach fat doesn’t fold even when she’s sitting. I really want to die.’”

Singer Tae Wan has dropped a music video for his new track, “Good Morning,” featuring hip-hop heavyweight Verbal Jint. The release also has a special treat in store for After School fans, as long-serving member Jooyeon is featured heavily in the video.

The track has a light, summery feel, with a strong beat and a funky bassline. The video also takes a similar tack, showing Tae Wan preparing a surprise romantic event for Jooyeon over the course of a sunny day, while scenes of Verbal Jint rapping are intercut. The final scene culminates in festival of cake, balloons and colorful umbrellas.

B2ST finished up their "Good Luck" promotions through a special concert!

The boys held a "B2ST Unplugged Concert" to 500 lucky fans on the 27th. The boys newly edited their songs to thank their fans. 100,000 fans submitted an entry to win a seat at the concert, and B2ST personally picked 500 of the entries to come see them at their live concert.

The boys kicked off with "Lightless" and sang many songs, including "Midnight", "I"m Sorry", "The Fact", and "Fiction". Each member also picked a song fans requested and sang it live on the spot with the other members matching the harmony for them.

The Sunday ratings battle for the variety crown among the Big 3 television networks continues!

KBS 2TV"s "Happy Sunday" segment is on a roll at #1 place again. "1 Night 2 Days" took the throne for the night with 13.3%, #1 in its slot. "Superman is Back" also took #1 in its timeslot with 11.5%, and the entire segment rated at 11.7%.

MBC"s "Sunday Sunday Night" was second once again. "Real Men" rated at 12.2%, #2 for the slot, as did "Dad! Where Are You Going?" at 9.6%. The entire segment rated at 10.4%.

SBS" "Good Sunday" suffered the worst ratings. "Running Man" fell behind both the other shows with a rating of 8

Taewan, well-known the past eight years as the talented producer C-Luv, has released the music video teaser to his upcoming title track “Good Morning.”

Taewan is making a solo comeback as a singer after 8 years since releasing his last album. In anticipation of his return to the stage, Taewan has released the track "History," along with its music video, last week.

Getting to ready to release his mini-album of 8 tracks, Taewan unveiled the teaser video to his title track “Goodbye,” which will feature rapper Verbal Jint. The teaser reveals After School’s Jooyeon as its lead actress.

Rising from her deep slumber, Jooyeon is greeted by Taewan with a cup of morning coffee as an easy going, R&B-like beat plays.

Taewan has released a music video teaser for "Good Morning" from his upcoming mini-album "As I Am".

Rookie solo singer Junggigo released the music video for his song “Too Good” featuring Boyfriend‘s Minwoo through the official 1theK YouTube channel.

“Too Good” is part of the OST for the drama “High School: Love On.” The drama stars INFINITE’s Woohyun and Sungyeol and also child actress Kim Sae Ron. On July 5th, Junggigo released an OST track for the KBS drama “High School: Love On.”

Junggigo’s track, “Too Good,” features BOYFRIEND member Minwoo and is an upbeat track. “Too Good” is used as the theme song for the main characters in the drama in addition to being the ending theme as well.

"High School: Love On" is currently airing on KBS every Friday and stars INFINITE’s Sungyeol and Woohyun as well as Kim Saeron as the female lead, among others.

In addition to the release of the song, a music video for the track was released on July 25th as well. Junggigo’s smooth vocals convey the sincere message of the lyrics and complement the scenes from the drama that are shown in the music video perfectly. Minwoo’s rap near the end of the song completes the song with a fresh melody
