Sinopsis Episode 3 Prime Minister And I
Actress Chae Jung Ahn has been confirmed for the upcoming KBS drama, “Prime Minister and I.”
On October 22, broadcast insiders revealed that Chae Jung Ahn has been confirmed to play Seo Hye Joo, who is Kwon Yool’s (played by Lee Bum Soo) college junior and close associate since his congressman days.
Seo Hye Joo will be playing the rival of Nam Da Jung (played by YoonA) as they enter a love triangle with Kwon Yool.
Seems like Girls’ Generation‘s YoonA is literally clinging to Lee Bum Soo right from the beginning.
KBS’s new Monday-Tuesday drama “Prime Minister and I” recently revealed the first stills showing the lead couple caught up in an interesting situation. YoonA has both of her arms tightly around Lee Bum Soo‘s leg while staring at the man with her puppy-dog look. With his piercing eyes, Lee Bum Soo looks at YoonA intensively, making viewers wonder what has happened between the two.
Our dramas had a bad case of the Monday blues as there was no increase for any of the three primetime dramas.
MBC’s Empress Ki continued its reign as number one, but did drop a bit from its previous ratings of 18.8 percent.
SBS’ A Warm Word stayed where it was with 8.6, while KBS’ Prime Minister and I dropped to 5.9, returning to its first episode ratings.
On the variety side, however, KBS’ Hello saw an increase from 8.0 percent to 8.7. SBS’ Healing Camp also went up from 5.9 to 6.9 percent.
Well, no need to be frustrated in waiting for whatever may happen in the future because KBS2TV’s new drama “Prime Minister and I” seems to share of the main couple’s happy ending through the drama’s poster.
The newly released poster of “Prime Minister and I” shows a contrasting image of Lee Bum Soo and Girls’ Generation‘s YoonA. In the top section of the poster, the negative vibe between Kwon Yul (Lee Bum Soo) and Nam Da Jung (YoonA) sharply differ from the couple’s loving pose in the bottom section of the drama’s poster.

Prime Minister and I: Episode 1 RECAP by Drama Beans
We open at a banquet hall where preparations are underway, leading up to the arrival of our hero, Prime Minister KWON YUL (Lee Beom-soo) and his wife, NAM DA-JUNG (Yoon-ah), who greet the roomful of dignitaries with a smile.
But there’s a different story that lies beneath those adoring smiles as the power couple turns to each other… and exchange looks of distaste.
Despite the mostly positive response to Lee Bum Soo and YoonA‘s “Prime Minister and I,” it continues its third-place position for its second episode, with MBC’s “Empress Ki” continuing its domination of the airwaves.
According to ratings agency, Nielsen Korea, ratings for the December 10 broadcast of MBC Monday-Tuesday drama “Empress Ki” Episode 14 recorded a 19.5% viewership nationwide, a slight drop of 0.7% from Monday’s Episode 13 20.2% rating.
My last first impressions article for “1 Night, 2 Days Season 3″ went over fairly well. Got some great discussions going and it was nice to see that my opinions weren’t completely off kilter. So with my new found confidence I’m going to step far outside of my comfort zone and write some first impressions I had while watching KBS’s new romantic comedy drama “Prime Minister And I” featuring YoonA, Lee Bum Soo, Chae Jung Ahn, Yoon Si Yoon and Ryu Jin. Is this the glorious return of romantic comedies that I was desperately hoping for all year, or does it seem like something to fast forward through when I am bored? The first two episode might not provide all the answers but it should hopefully still be enough to get the gist of things.
Prime Minister and I – Episode 1 Recap by Dramabeans:
Next in the KBS rom-com lineup is Prime Minister and I, whose light and breezy tone took me by surprise. I knew to prepare myself for the cute, but I didn’t expect it to also stir the heartstrings in the first hour. There’s promise and potential in a story that moves fairly quickly that contains both heartwarming and funny notes. And damn, a prime minister has never looked this good.
