I Need Romance 3 – Episode 1, Episode 2 Recap by Couch-Kimchi:

The third installment of the I Need Romance series is here and I bet you thought you learned something about romance in the first two series, right? Pfft. Those two were chickenfeed compared to this drama which is pulling all the stops when it comes to romance. And to show just how serious they are about it, there’s French everywhere. The first words spoken are: “J’ai envie de romance” which means I might need to have Google Translate open to keep from missing anything.

Even better, there are familiar names competing, such as VascoGiriboy, and Bobby and B.I of WHO IS NEXT: WIN’s Team B.

What If Some Favorite K-Drama Actresses Had Become K-Pop Stars?

Some popular k-drama actresses might have debuted in a k-pop group. Would they have made the same impression as singers?

For example, both Gu Hye Sun and Lee Honey at one time were considered potential members of 2NE1.

On a recent episode of “Night of TV Entrainment” Big Bang”s T.O.P. spoke about his “Tazza 2″ co-star Lee Honey and her almost k-pop debut.

“Honey Lee was a YG Entertainment trainee, like me,” he said. “For a while, it looked like she was going to debut with 2NE1. I remember thinking, “Why does she want to get into the world of music if she looks as beautiful as she does?” The next thing I knew, she had become Miss Korea!”

by Dramabeans:

Today’s cold open: On a sunny day at the park, a man approaches a woman sitting alone from behind. Reaching into his jacket pocket, he slowly extends his other hand towards her…

She jumps in alarm and breathes a sigh of relief, recognizing him. It turns out the man was reaching for a small box—namely, a diamond ring. His girlfriend (?) simply asks him to ask nothing before walking away.

At the same time some distance away, a masked man in a hat loads his rifle. He fires the weapon and the woman falls, dead. Another shot rings out, followed by another, and then another.

Kim Woo Bin Is Bad In "Criminal Designer"

Kim Woo Bin Is Bad In "Criminal Designer"

Kim Woo Bin is bad in his new film, “Criminal Designer.” He is criminally bad. That is, he plays a bad character, a safe-cracking con artist with a fondness for acquiring jewelry and antiques.

And given his last few drama roles, viewers can expect that he will do a good job of playing a bad but charming thug. He was bad-der than the bullies in “School 2013” and he was Lee Min Ho’s endearing bad boy rival in “The Heirs.”
‘Criminal Designer,” also previously called “The Technicians,” is the story of a group of professional con artists. They are hired by a mob boss to rob the almost $150 million supposedly hidden in an Incheon International Airport vault. And they have to do it within 40 minutes. You could almost see them as contract workers hired by other criminals to do the dirty work. And they are not afraid of a little danger.
The film was first screened at the 2014 Busan International Film Festival, where it won praise from viewers. After it was shown at the Asian Film Market, the rights were sold to China, Hong Kong, Taiwan and the Philippines. According to Lotte Entertainment, the film will be screened again at the American Film Market in the U.S. in November. “Criminal Designer” is set to premiere in Korea in December.
Part of the film’s appeal to buyers is Kim Woo Bin’s star power among younger viewers. But the cast also contains the appealing Lee Hyun Woo and some impressive veteran actors.
Lee Hyun Woo recently appeared in the films “Secretly Greatly” and the “Battle of Yeonpyeong.” He previously worked with Kim Woo Bin in the comedy “To The Beautiful You.” In “Criminal Designers” he plays Jung Bae, a genius hacker and Kim Woo Bin’s best friend.
Also in the cast are Lim Joo Hwan, Go Chang Suk, Kim Young Chul and Jo Yoon Hee.
Lim Joo Hwan, seen in “Ugly Alert,” plays a sidekick of the mob boss. Jo Yoon Hee, last seen in “Nine: Nine Time Travels” and soon to appear in ‘The King’s Face,” plays Eun Ha.
Kim Yong Chul, who appeared in “Iris II,” plays the mob boss who hires Kim Woo Bin and Lee Hyun Woo. Go Chang Seok, last seen in “Diary of Night Watchman” is the man who comes up with the plan. Kim Hong Sun, who directed “Traffickers,” is the film’s director.

Recap for SBS Drama Pinocchio Episode 4

Okay, I seriously love this episode. I swear it’s not even because our hero finally gets a makeover (even though that’s worth a round of applause in and of itself—fare thee well, Mop of Shame!), but because the family stuff hits all the right chords. It’s an episode about fathers, and the kind of love that’s so steadfast that sometimes a reminder is a shock to the system—a poignant, tear-filled, affectionate shock.

We rewind a little to see that Dad finds the kids on the rooftop and hides out of sight, just in time to watch Dal-po try to stop In-ha’s day-long bout of hiccups, over having to lie that things went great with Mom and she’s totally fine giving up on journalism altogether. In-ha knows that Dal-po gave up college for her, and says she can’t live off of his taxi-driving income forever.

But Dal-po stops her from burning all her books by declaring that he needs them now, because he’s going to become a reporter too. Just like that, her hiccups stop, and fireworks explode in the distance.

First Quarter Report: “The Legendary Witch”

A lot has happened since the first impressions for “The Legendary Witch.” And I have loved pretty much all of it.

Let’s start with the rest of the background story. Moon Soo In (Han Ji Hye) was appointed the new CEO of Shinhwa the last time we saw her. Of course that’s fishy, because most of the Ma family hates her. (I think the only real exception is Ma Do Jin (Do Sang Woo), her brother-in-law). And no surprise: it turns out the head of the family, Ma Tae San (Park Geun Hyung), has planned to frame her for dereliction of duty and embezzlement from the moment he learned that she inherited his son Do Hyun’s shares of the company when he passed away.
