Jang Hyuk and Jang Nara may be reuniting for another drama, 12 years after starring together in SBS drama “Successful Story of a Bright Girl.”
The two are tipped to star in MBC Wednesday-Thursday drama “Fated to Love You ”(working title) this summer. Both sides are said to be positively reviewing the offer, although nothing can be confirmed just yet.
“Fated to Love You” is a remake of a 2008 Taiwanese drama of the same name. The drama achieved historically high average ratings of 10%, with peak ratings hitting 14.6%, in Taiwan. This would be equivalent to a rating of 70% in Korea. The drama will be produced by Number Three Pictures (“Arang and the Magistrate”) and directed by Lee Dong Yoon (“Queen’s Classroom,” “The Greatest Love”), and is scheduled to follow after Kim Myung Min’s “A New Leaf” in July.

Lee Seung Gi, Cha Seung Won, and Go Ara‘s new SBS drama, “You’re Surrounded,” pulled in great ratings for its pilot episode, shooting it up to first place for the Wednesday/Thursday time slot.
According to Nielson Korea on May 8, “You’re Surrounded” raked in 12.3% on ratings for its first episode that aired on May 7.
“You’re Surrounded” stars Lee Seung Gi, who returned to the small screen after a year since “Gu Family Book,” Cha Seung Won, after three years of hiatus from television, and Go Ara, after her immense success with “Reply 1994.”

According to AGB Nielsen Media Research, the June 5th episode of SBS” “You”re Surrounded” heated up its love lines, maintaining its first place with a 10.7% viewer rating.

The 2014 MBC Drama Awards took place on the evening of December 30. The grand prize of the night, voted by the viewers, went to actress Lee Yoo Ri, who made a huge impression on the audience with her villainous character Yeo Min Jung on “Jang Bori is Here.”

SBS has released a full trailer for the upcoming weekend drama, “The Family Is Coming.”
N and Sojin are in supporting roles within the drama and will share a romantic plot line.
N (Cha Hak Yeon) last appeared in the MBC weekend drama “Hotel King.” Sojin also starred in a 2014 drama, as Lee Yoo Ri in “The Greatest Marriage.”
Every good detective story needs a mystery. In the soon-to-be-released adventure comedy “Detective K: The Laborer”s Daughter,” Lee Yeon Hee supplies some of the film”s mystery along with plenty of Joseon-era style.
In the film Lee Yeon Hee plays a beautiful and mysterious woman named Hasako. Her character sometimes comes to the aid of the genius detective Kim Min, played by Kim Myung Min. And sometimes she mysteriously foils his plans.
Kang-chul pins Ho-gu to the wall and tells him that he’s going to finally see this through. Rawr. Do-hee pounds on the locked door, shouting at Kang-chul to talk to her instead of Ho-gu, but Kang-chul is desperate to finally get an answer and end the confusion: just who, exactly, does Ho-gu like? Is it Do-hee? Ho-gu admits that he does indeed like Do-hee.
Stunned, Kang-chul reels back, wondering how that’s even possible. Ho-gu knows he shouldn’t have those feelings, either — especially because of Kang-chul. Even so, he still likes Do-hee. With a pained expression, Kang-chul quietly asks: “Do you like Do-hee… more than me?”
