Sinopsis Drama I Wanna Be Tough Guy
RECAP: FIFTH RECORD
Min-joon saves Song-yi from falling overboard, and as he puts her to bed, she pulls him down to her to give him a kiss. She murmurs, “You’ve gone crazy,” but it’s more to herself than to him, believing herself to be dreaming him up. She hushes him from speaking and sighs, “Yeah, I was too lonely all this time and it’s been hard on my body. I’m even dreaming up sexy dreams now. It’s time I married. Hormones are honest.”
Drifting off to sleep, Song-yi curls into Min-joon’s coat for warmth—the one he’s wearing, which pulls him even closer to her. Looking completely out of his element (well, even more than he is, for being an alien and all), Min-joon carefully extricates himself.

Evil MomYou”re the “evil mom”, AKA the Cruella De Vil of K-Dramas, hated by daughter-in-laws, sons, and viewers alike. Seriously, which hell hole did you crawl out of? You”re a bull-headed old soul who”s determined to get what she wants, even if it means hydropumping someone with your glass of water in the face. You tend to cause a lot of drama and pain, and you annoy people for that reason. But what they don”t realize is that you”ve been through a lot of crap yourself, and you just don”t want to get hurt again. Life is tough, but you”re even tougher, and if that means gaining a few enemies here and there, then whatever. Survival of the fittest, right? [POP QUIZ] Which character in a K-Drama are you? Chaebol JerkYou”re the “chaebol jerk”–cool and collected, with a whole wardrobe of swag in the form of your suit collection. Fangirls swoon over you on-screen and off, but you”re actually a lonely, sad soul who has never felt loved or been in love. You have a habit of throwing money at your problems, but one day, you”ll meet that special someone whose love and care will be worth more than all the money and things in the world. “Til then, keep being your rich and rude self. Don”t worry, according to K-Drama logic, you”ll be gettin” the girl anyway! [POP QUIZ] Which character in a K-Drama are you? The CinderellaYou”re the “Cinderella” of the K-Drama world, AKA the main female protagonist. You”re the cheerful little birdie sealing away your secret pain and financial burdens with your smiles. You”re loved by family and friends for your compassion, and you”re admired by others for your strength and determination as you work through your problems without even a complaint–Disney Princess, “Heigh Ho” style. You”re a beautiful human being, both inside and out! I know at least one “chaebol jerk” will be looking your way. [POP QUIZ] Which character in a K-Drama are you? Rich B!tchYou”re the “rich b!tch”, AKA the Paris Hilton of K-Dramas. You”re pretty, smart with money, and you know how to get what you want. You”re usually indifferent to the stupid people populating the world, but as soon as someone tries to get ahold of your stuff, then it”s time to snap those fingers and tell a bitch to STEP OFF. You”re pretty intimidating to most people, but once you meet someone you like, you can be an honest, loyal friend, willing to fight their fights for them, and learn from their kinder example. [POP QUIZ] Which character in a K-Drama are you? The Nice GuyYou”re “the nice guy”, and you know what K-Dramas think of nice guys! That”s right, you can be the perfect gentleman who”s got the looks, smarts, and even the awesome personality, but you will definitely not get the girl. Tough luck, dude. But instead of moping over it or even getting jealous and vengeful, try not to let the K-Drama logic get to you. Seriously bro, there are plenty of fish in the sea. If one girl doesn”t acknowledge how much of a perfect package you are, then you”re better off without her! All aboard the awesome train as we leave station K-Drama jerkfest! [POP QUIZ] Which character in a K-Drama are you? Damsel in DistressYou”re the “damsel in distress”, which basically means that if you live inside a K-Drama, you are pretty much screwed. You appear to have the worst of luck as you attract cars, cancerous diseases, and tears–all the tears. Death is waiting around the corner to pounce you and claim you as its best friend. But don”t feel too bad about it–because as much as your life just might suck, your pain will touch the hearts of many and remind people what compassion is. In this circle of feels, you, my friend, are not alone. [POP QUIZ] Which character in a K-Drama are you? The Comic ReliefCongratulations, you”re the “comic relief”! Who cares if you”re not the main character, you pretty much get to steer clear of all the drama while still witnessing it unfold before your very eyes! That and you”re one of the more entertaining aspects of this whole shebang. With your blunt and silly personality, you breathe a breath of fresh air into typically serious, boring, or even depressing scenes. You make life fun and full of giggles, but when it comes down to it, you are a true-blue, reliable comrade who gives the best advice and is seriously the bestest of friends. [POP QUIZ] Which character in a K-Drama are you? Bad guy/girlYou”re the “bad guy”, AKA the BAMF of this K-Drama operation, ready to bring on the action and hold back the tears. You”re super tough on the outside, causing scenes and picking fights, but a secret softie on the inside, bottling up the pain and turning it into angsty fuel for your fists. While the tragic hero cries him/herself into a puddle in the corner, your action-packed scenes are badass and you deliver all the well-deserved punches. But remember to let the feels go once in a while and maybe calm down with the house-wrecking. Your fists and wallet can only take so much damage! SHARE YOUR RESULTS

As K-Drama fans, we instantly recognize a couple of favorite faces and big names. These are the acting royalty, making up the top tier of Korea”s version of Hollywood, constantly being casted and re-casted as protagonists and basking in the spotlight on our TV/computer screens.
There”s a reason that these actors are always snagging the big roles; they bring life to their characters with a certain style and flair. But as they grow older and move on to take on more mature roles, we have to ask, who will be the second generation of acting royalty? Who are the up-and-coming actors that we can expect to reign in the future? The current princes who can claim the future vacant thrones.
Nae-il comes to Yoo-jin for comfort after running out on her lesson, where she was told Teacher Do would be her new instructor. She calms at the touch of his hand, but the effect is short-lived because Yoo-jin tells her that she needs a stern teacher to help her grow as a musician, and that she shouldn’t waste her talent. He takes a call from Teacher Do and says he’ll bring Nae-il in to her lesson, and, feeling betrayed, she withdraws her hand from his grasp.

This is the recent interview with beloved actor Song Joong Ki!
# Do you remember the first time that you want to take on the career path of an actor?
I had a lot of things I wanted to do before I entered the military. I thought I would regret it if I didn’t. That’s why, I signed up for an acting academy. To be honest, I tried many other things before entering the acting academy. I prepared to be an announcer, broadcast PD and press representative. Back then, acting was one of the things I wanted to do and I wasn’t sure. However, I have confidence now and it’s become my all. When I first registered at an academy institute, I didn’t tell my parents beforehand. It wasn’t until during the middle of the term when I couldn’t pay for the tuition fees that I told my mother the truth and also received her support. I was lucky that I was able to sign a contract and make my debut, but my father thought I was an immature son. He thought that I would give up pretty soon. (Laugh) I thought that I was able to continue with this career because, through acting, I was able to earn money and I saw that people enjoyed watching my acting. I don’t want to hear that I changed because I became popular. I want to continue working as an actor. Maybe not now, but I want to be an actor who’s able to tackle any kind of role convincingly. I’m nervous just thinking about what my future self would be.
With SBS’ star-filled The Heirs set to air in just a few days, we asked you which ‘heir’ you think will steal the spotlight, and the results are in!
Despite the tough competition from her costars, f(x)’s Krystal rose to the top to in last week’s poll, even beating out lead Park Shin Hye, gathering 44.7 percent of votes. Park Shin Hye finished in second place but didn’t stand a chance against the f(x) member, garnering 21 percent of votes.
The first set of stills for the upcoming MBC drama, “Empress Ki” have been released, featuring the leading lady, Ha Ji Won.
On October 14, stills of Ha Ji Won in her Goryeo attire, displaying her horseback-riding skills, were revealed.
It is said that Ha Ji Won’s experienced horseback-riding skills impressed everyone on set. Ha Ji Won commented on her role in this drama by saying, “In the drama, Empress Ki is a very charismatic character but I also want to express Empress Ki’s warmth behind her tough exterior. I will try hard to show the best image that I can through this drama.”
Actor Yoo Ah In said that rather than playing the king, as he did in the SBS drama, “Jang Ok Jung, Living by Love,” he would prefer to continue playing roles representative of the lower class.
On October 5, at the Korea New Network (KNN) Plaza in Busan, Yoo Ah In as well as other cast and crew from the movie “Tough as Iron” met with fans who came to the Busan International Film Festival (BIFF).
Here he said, “While I have played the king before in TV dramas, I have often played more ordinary roles in movies.” In the 2011 film “Punch,” Yoo Ah In plays a high-school student from a poor household, and in the new “Tough as Iron” film, he plays a son who must do whatever it takes to scrape together money for his mother’s illness.
Warning – may contain some spoilers
Gang Chul (Yoo Ah In), a hardworking young man with a sunny personality, has been dealt some bad cards in life. He works a laborious job down at the Busan docks, and spends all of his time caring for his mother, Soo Ni (Kim Hae Sook), who suffers from a string of illnesses, including dementia, and who often mistakes him for his long-departed father. Although their lives are tough, Gang Chul manages to find content in the simplest of moments, taking life day by day.
October 3 marked the end of the SBS drama “Master’s Sun” after three months of filming.
Before the filming was over, So Ji Sub had gifted the entire staff with shoes that he had prepared himself. Hot on the heels of shooting his last scene, he personally sought out all the members of the staff to thank them for their hard work. With his bright smile, he warmed the hearts of everyone on the cast and crew.
“Bittersweet is exactly right,” So Ji Sub said. “There isn’t a single work that isn’t hard, but I think that the great memories are what give me the strength to continue acting.”
It is very clear that model-turned-actor Kim Woo Bin is no doubt, one of the hottest stars on the market these days.
When he appeared in SBS’ “Gentleman’s Dignity” and KBS’ “School 2013,” he was not as noticed. However, after his stellar performances on SBS’ “The Heirs” and the film “Friend 2,” Kim Woo Bin proved to be a hit-maker and has solidified his position as a top actor.
The last few episodes have been harsh, and this one didn”t let up all that much. Still, in the midst of all the tension were some really nice little moments, and I couldn”t let those get by unnoticed…
5. Ki Ae and Hee Nam
This show has made a point of showing us that Tan”s mother, Ki Ae (Kim Sung Ryung), is not the brightest bulb in the box, but she /really/ tries to be a mom to Tan (Lee Min Ho). When Tan announces to Young Do (Kim Woo Bin) that Ki Ae is his mother and storms out, she stews in worry over what will happen and where her son ran off to. Hee Nam (Kim Mi Kyung) stops to ask what Ki Ae would like for dinner and Ki Ae”s too worried to care, so Hee Nam sits down and gives her a hand massage- awww. When Ki Ae asks about it, Hee Nam signs that Ki Ae”s complexion looked a bit off- and Ki Ae understood her! So she knows a bit of sign language? I know that”s probably not a big deal or that much of a surprise when Hee Nam”s been working there for three years, but it”s the first hint we”ve seen of Ki Ae doing something to accomodate Hee Nam, and it”s sweet.
