One Warm Word Episode 1 Recap by Beatuscorner:

After an influx of marriage/affair/divorce dramas this year, my expectation level for SBS newest Mondays & Tuesdays drama One Warm Word (Kind Words) was extremely low. Moreover, the writer’s previous drama Can We Get Married was pretty hard to digest (for me) that I stopped watching on episode 7, it was too realistic for my liking. So I embraced the first episode of One Warm Word with extreme caution (ha!). Surprisingly, the first episode surpassed my expectations – it quickly introduced the main characters and their different perspectives (& approaches) towards marriage, divorce and affairs.

One Warm Word Episode 3 Recap

A secret never stay hidden forever, the truth always prevails. No matter how hard people are trying to hide their secrets, their problems, sooner or later, people will discover them. For Jae Hak and Eun Jin; they know they cannot hide their relationship forever; they’re not naive but obviously they don’t realize that Mi Kyung has already found out about their “humane relationship”. People say the quiet ones usually are the ones who’ll attack and cause extensive damages; so they’d better get ready because Mi Kyung will do anything she can to “torture” them.

7 K-Drama Kings and their Successors

As K-Drama fans, we instantly recognize a couple of favorite faces and big names. These are the acting royalty, making up the top tier of Korea”s version of Hollywood, constantly being casted and re-casted as protagonists and basking in the spotlight on our TV/computer screens.

There”s a reason that these actors are always snagging the big roles; they bring life to their characters with a certain style and flair. But as they grow older and move on to take on more mature roles, we have to ask, who will be the second generation of acting royalty? Who are the up-and-coming actors that we can expect to reign in the future? The current princes who can claim the future vacant thrones.

My First Dates with “Valid Love”: Episodes 1 and 2

Starting a new drama is like dating a new boyfriend. You want it to be so good that it’ll make you forget about all the bad dramas you’ve seen in the past, the ones that disappointed you, the bad kissers, the plot lines gone achingly wrong, the ones that cheated on you, or the ones that were just plain cheap (melodramas or tawdry makjangs).

From the writer of “My Name Is Kim Sam Soon” -Kim Do Woo- comes “Valid Love”. With a shot of infidelity-driven plots this year (“Secret Love Affair,” “A Word From Warm Heart,” the film “Obsession”), I was curious to see how this one would play out, especially after hearing that the cast was spearheaded by Uhm Tae Woong (“Architecture 101″, “The Blade And Petal”), Lee Si Young (“Golden Cross”), and Lee Soo Hyuk (“King of High School”). With trailers dripping with stringed instrumentals and soft visuals, I was anticipating a poignant, passionate melodrama to sweep me off my feet.

The Most Romantic K-Drama Scenes In 2014

Now that 2014 is drawing to a close, it may be time to consider the year”s most romantic k-drama scenes.

What follows is just a summary of some of the aw-that”s-so-sweet scenes that moved us to get mushy inside. They are not the conventional fireworks, champagne and moonlight scenes, but some just a little more unusual.

Feel free to respond with your favorite scenes.

“You Who Came From The Stars:” This drama had so many romantic scenes it is hard to narrow them down. But one of our favorites is the time-freeze kiss-scene on the frozen lake. Kim Soo Hyun said it was his favorite too. Part of what makes it special is that she does not even realize it happened.

Unless you’ve been living under a rock for the past few months, then I’m sure you’ve heard about SBS’s newest drama written by Kim Eun Sook who is the brains behind last year’s “A Gentleman’s Dignity” and 2010′s “Secret Garden.” “The Heirs” is about an exclusive high school and the rich, elite students who attend it. Technically this is it, but you can also say it’s about rich kids and a poor girl who falls in love with one of the elite students at Empire High School. Either one is fine.

7 Things I Learned from “The Heirs” This Week – Episodes 3 & 4

Now that you’ve gotten an introduction to the story(well somewhat, I know there’s a lead character that hasn’t shown up yet), it’s time to talk about the most recent episodes of The Heirs. Since I have already talked about the must watch scenes from the first two episodes, shall I just talk about what I’ve learned in episodes 3 and 4 so far? Starting from this post, I’ll ask a question and possibly post one of your answers in my next post. On to the goodies(and they are wonderful)…
