Agh, they’re so cuuuuute. Now that our backstory is in place, the second episode actually brings our leads together onscreen, and I’m happy to say that their dynamic is adorable—their bickering relationship is funny and heartfelt, and I really like both characters. It was impossible to tell from the first episode alone if the show would reel me in, but by the end of this hour, they’ve got me. Last-place student Dal-po wins his first round of the TV quiz show, wiping the smirk off of the first-place champion and surprising everyone in their class. As the audience claps and the cameras turn to him, he narrates in voiceover that after suffering those cruel events with his family, he vowed to never set foot in a broadcast station or exchange words with anyone even remotely associated with a network
JI EUN - 25
About 3 weeks ago, SECRET
member Ji Eun
released her single "Don"t Look At Me Like That
." The MV had a mysterious numeral at the end: "25." Well, at least we know what that means now as she has just dropped her new album with that title. Near the end of September, she uploaded a pic onto her Instagram
and wrote, "25. Now it"s the age where I know things. Look forward to the new project
," giving us the idea behind the album.
The album opens with the upbeat, short intro song "Janus
." While the tune is fairly epic, the lyrics are a bit confusing. Janus is the Roman god of beginnings, transitions, doorways, and endings. He is portrayed in art as having two faces. While the title itself would make sense (as it is the beginning track), the lyrics seem to indicate more pliability than two-faced-ness -- such as "I can be anything you want
As K-Drama fans, we instantly recognize a couple of favorite faces and big names. These are the acting royalty, making up the top tier of Korea"s version of Hollywood, constantly being casted and re-casted as protagonists and basking in the spotlight on our TV/computer screens.
There"s a reason that these actors are always snagging the big roles; they bring life to their characters with a certain style and flair. But as they grow older and move on to take on more mature roles, we have to ask, who will be the second generation of acting royalty? Who are the up-and-coming actors that we can expect to reign in the future? The current princes who can claim the future vacant thrones.
Last time, allkpop rounded up a list of 7 top actresses and their second generation counterparts. Now, here are some of allkpop"s choices for 7 K-Drama Kings and their successors
EPISODE 6 RECAP by drama beans
So our married couple spends their first night together with Yul staying up to work while Da-jung sleeps. The following morning, Da-jung encourages a reluctant Man-se to attend kindergarten. She promises him a playdate, but a stern word from his father gets him to grudgingly head off to school.
Calling her a worry (geok-jung), Yul sighs in exasperation and removes a note attached to Da-jung’s back (another one of Na-ra’s pranks). He tells her to stay out of trouble since worrying about national affairs gives him enough of a headache and to stop wearing the hanbok.
He also assigns her to keep a daily log on his children—their thoughts, concerns, behaviors, and so on
A secret never stay hidden forever, the truth always prevails. No matter how hard people are trying to hide their secrets, their problems, sooner or later, people will discover them.
