Ajumma is seen running on the street calling someone with the narration in the background that coming to the past changes nothing for her in the future. Kim Shin signs his name on the contract and is ready to start working for NTN the next day. NOOOO!
Meanwhile Mi Rae finds out Se Joo was the person who saved her from the ocean. She wonders why he has never told her and that’s because he doesn’t want her to see him as someone who saves her but a normal man who approaches her. He holds up a ring that he has been carrying around for awhile waiting for the right time to give it to her. Se Joo asks Mi Rae sincerely: “Will you accept my heart?”
He puts the ring on the 4th finger of her left hand and while I rage, she actually looks touched
The crowd currently set on stoning Shin-young to death are suddenly startled by the sound of a gun—Japanese police officers have shown up to break up what they deem as an illegal protest.
Sung-won tries to rally the people to hold their ground, but another shot fired into the crowd scatters them. Meanwhile San, unconscious from having protected Shin-young, is helped up by Chi-ho and Sung-won. The latter rejects the former’s offer to take San to the hospital, claiming that the only way Chi-ho can help is to pretend like he never saw them.
While Sung-won patches San up, he also chastises him for taking such a big risk in helping Shin-young
Chairman Kim shows ES two airplane tickets. One ticket is for her to leave Tan right now and go where ever she wants. The other ticket will give her 2 weeks to see Tan as much as she wants. But at the end of the 2 weeks, Dad will send her where he wants. And it definitely won’t be anywhere in Korea. It will definitely be different from the U.S. and France. She can pick which ever ticket, but only one ticket will let her go up the stairs to Tan’s room.
While grocery shopping, ES’s mom is getting text messages from people she borrowed money from, thanking her for paying them back.
Back at the house, ES’s mom asks KA, “Did you give me the severance pay already?” This surprises KA- she doesn’t want ES’s mom to quit yet. She interviewed a few people today, but no one was good enough
The Heirs episode 13 and 14 left Frau, BBSwooner, The Crazy Ahjumma and I with many feelings that can not be expressed in just a few words. We decided to create this post with all our favourite scenes from the two daebak episodes. We will rant, swoon and die as we discuss each scene and why we love it so much. Come and swoon/rant/die with us!!!!
“The Emotional Hug”
Ducky: My first favourite scene is the emotional hug that we waited one whole week for! Why was it such a great scene and delivered so much emotions?
Frau: Yes, I love it! It was full of warmth and comfort as well as reassuring. It also signifies ES accepting Tan not only taking his hand but him as a whole
Tan has arrived just outside the broadcast room. Through the door window, he can see YD, and he realizes that ES is in there too. He tries to get it, but YD locks the door. Tan kicks the door furiously, yelling at YD to open the door before he kills him.Inside, ES asks YD to open the door. YD replies, “When I said I would torture all those around you, it included Kim Tan. And me.”Tan finally kicks the door open, and telling ES to get out, punches YD. I noticed here that YD has pushed ES behind him so she doesn’t get hurt, knowing Tan is going to beat him up. Tan picks up a chair to hit Young Do, but ES desperately grabs Tan’s waist to stop him. “Don’t do this.” Meanwhile, YD never fights back, steps back, or drops his gaze from ES.Tan throws the chair down and pushes ES outside. “Don’t come in.” Tan grabs YD’s collar and seethes, “I warned you not to bother ES
Kdrama "The Heirs" Episode 13 Recap and Screenshot ES goes outside to throw out garbage. She sees Tan standing in front of the café with a dazed look and tears brimming in his eyes. She looks at him silently, feeling what he feels, as he struggles to breathe with the tears rising in his throat and his chest squeezing in pain. ES starts to cry, and tears fall on both ES and Tan’s cheeks, mirroring each other.Eun Sang walks over to Tan and asks if he is okay. Tan doesn’t answer. She tearfully asks what happened. Tan reminds her of the time she said in the US she would hold his hand and run with him if it got dangerous for him. “Does that still apply here?” Eun Sang shakes her head, still crying. Kdrama Answer Me 1994 Episode 10 Recap by DramaBeans “It might be the last”
It’s 2013, and we’re still watching the neverending wedding video. This time we get as far as the daddy-daughter walk down the aisle, at the end of which Dad has this hilarious kneejerk moment, refusing to hand Na-jung over to the bridegroom(’s stand-in). That’s cute.
Thirty-nine-year-old Na-jung sends her hubby a sly wink across the room, and of course each of our bachelor candidates reacts to it. Is anybody else tired of this one-trick pony joke?
1994. Dad’s baseball team wins the Korean Series, after which he prepares celebratory liquor to drink on their next victory. To which Mom asks, “Who knows when you’ll win again?” LOL.
“The last time always happens without the realization that it’s the last time
Kdrama Answer Me 1994 Recap by Dramabeans EPISODE 9: “So, the thing I want to say is…”
By the fall of 1994, the big story in pop culture news is whether or not Seo Taiji tapes played backwards contains a message from the devil. You laugh, but for those of us who were forced to start hiding cassette tapes from reactive mothers, it was no joke.
Samcheonpo makes the deadly mistake of getting into an argument about it with Yoon-jin, and gets strangled for it, naturally.
She orders them to shut their traps and turn off the TV, and Haitai complies instantly, not wanting to be the second victim. The two boys sit at attention on the couch, muttering to each other about how much they pity the poor sap who’ll marry Yoon-jin. Hee.
In 2013, Samcheonpo is of course the sap in question, currently rooting around in Na-jung’s fridge for some chocolate milk

Where do I begin? The story has (finally) progressed, and we’re moving forward. The Kim brothers are standing up for themselves while Eun Sang may find herself in a much worse position than before. Here are some emotional and heart wrenching moments from this week’s episodes.
Tan’s Very Brave Confession
We knew this day would come, though I imagined it would be done in a more subtle way. Tan arranges for Esther and Rachel to have dinner with him and his parents (Daddy Kim and Ji Sook). Ji Sook sees this as an opportunity to show Ki Ae what her true position in the family is
Overall, nothing unexpected for me. Things we already suspected came true. But the heartache in this one, just like the whole over the door scene back in 13, wins this one for me. So, let's go!
Starts with MH in a car, reading reports, billboards all over Seoul showing what a fail Kgroup has become. Flashback to all the different times he confronted DH, YJ confronting DH, DH being a rat, and going crazy. Basically a few minutes of recaps right there. Cut to last week's ending with the phonecall coming in as YJ was walking towards the building. Viper took away DH's phone that MH was holding and threatened something like WE WILL GO DOWN TOGETHER if you don't save KGroup
MH thinks back on when YJ tried to explain that the car had only hit that barrel and that she had cleaned that barrel up herself, wanting to move it off the road. MH remembers that and orders GS to find the truck driver and figure out what it was that happened the day. MH looks at JH’s picture and then YJ’s and sheds a few tears AND THENNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN
WE GO BACK TO THE KISS
He kisses her once as YJ sheds a few tears. A momentary silence ensues before MH stands up and tries to explain himself, but YJ is adamant and says: “It’s okay. Mistakes happen.”
He stops her quickly again and says, “It’s not a mistake.” YJ falters for a second before walking away and thinks about what happened
Kdrama The Heirs (Inheritors) Episode 9 Live Recap Tan is waiting outside the door of his house for ES. He gives her back her phone, and lightheartedly whines that he got hurt and was scolded by JS, wanting her attention. But ES just looks worried. Still, without saying anything, she tries to go in, but Tan stops her. ES pleads, “Don’t hold me and don’t block me. Don’t wait for me from now on.” She tries to go in again, but Tan turns her back. ES pleads again. She doesn’t want to be recorded on the security cam. Tan: “That darn CCTV.” HAHAHAHA! ES reminds him that he is the one who warned her about the camera. Tan yells, “What I do told you, what I warned you about…Did you ever really listen?”Won appears and sees Tan and ES together, Tan holding onto ES. ES bows and hurriedly goes in. Won motions for Tan to move, not saying anything about what he just saw
I wonder how many more hugs it will take for Joong Won to move past his discomfort long enough to sense her desperation. When will his ego realize she isn’t clinging to him out of attraction and more out of urgency for rest and peace. Is he blind? It sort of makes you wonder just how much darker do they need to get for him to notice those dark circles mean she is in dire need of sleep. Even after just two episodes, we know enough backstory to get that Gong Sil has her work cut out for her. Getting this guy ready for any sort of intimacy like hugging is going to take a small miracle. That’s why it’s a good thing that she is the type to go ahead and do it first and make excuses later. I love how she takes every opportunity to touch him even though she knows full well how much he hates it. Not that anyone can blame her – given a choice between slightly offending someone and having to deal with more ghosts, I’m surprised she hasn’t started stalking his home
Singer IU is taking on the role of a main character in a drama once again.
She is currently preparing for her comeback in TV dramas with the new KBS miniseries, “Beautiful Man,” which will air mid-next month. One of the “Beautiful Man” production personnel said on StarIN – Edaily that “We have had many candidates for the role and had a meeting with the producers… Currently we are in the final stages of discussion with IU about the part.”
The role IU is discussing is that of the female lead, Kim Bo Tong, which means ‘normal.’ Just as her name suggests, she is an extremely normal, yet oddly lovable girl who has a crush on Dokgo Mate, the bastard child of MG Group. The actor for Dokgo Mate was decided early on as actor Jang Geun Suk
Warning- there are spoilers for the first ten episodes of ‘To the Beautiful You‘ ahead!
Due to what is either poor planning or unfortunate timing, the idol-laden KBS drama ‘To the Beautiful You’ has been struggling to gain viewers, consistently coming last in broadcast ratings for its Wednesday and Thursday night slots. This may be due to premiering during the final episodes of the wildly-popular ‘Bridal Mask‘ (KBS2), and now running at the same time as another popular drama, ‘Arang and the Magistrate‘ (MBC).In addition, this drama runs late at night, even though it is targeted at a younger demographic of viewers and should probably be playing a little earlier in the evening.
That said, the show isn’t bad, and if you like the whole girl-disguises-herself-as-a-boy storyline and can deal with blatant product placement, big gaps in logic (the scene where Daniel conveniently forgets he can speak Korean just baffles me), a couple of massive plot holes (Jae Hee walking away untraumatized from an attempted rape being one if not the worst), and an overbearing soundtrack (seriously, the music almost never stops!) you’ll probably enjoy this story
Starts from K putting the ring on her finger and saying it fitsperfectly. This is yours. SYJ bought it in the past. D: YJ shi did?K: now next to me you can waver – if you keep that on I wont go to youagain. I –KKJ- wont ever love you.

Isnt this forbiddenfor an adult. She says so this is what it feels like – when YJ cameclose to me- it would have felt like this. so he asks : what is this?did you really not go there? no way. (he motions with his hands meaning –did you never kiss YJ) She says I did go there, but I didnt get to seeit. during that important moment I was asleep
flashback to when she stayed up all night working on preparing someevent for school and while YJ went off to get coffee, I fell asleep
Starts from Y finding that key and then going out to meet S who runsover and hugs him. She says I worried so much – if something like thathappened you should have told me first. She tries to kiss him but hepushes her away saying-ya what are you. S says I love you and D callsout Y’s name. Y looks at D then at S and calls “YJ” a bad name. S saysto D: you were with him too.
