An exclusive report by news media outlet OSEN has revealed that the talented actress and variety show star Song Ji Hyo has been cast to lead tvN’s tentatively named drama “A May’s Garden” set to air after “Reply 1994.” She will be joined by actor Choi Jin Hyuk, currently appearing in the drama “The Heirs,” as the other lead in tvN’s latest project.

According to OSEN’s sources, Song Ji Hyo and Choi Jin Hyuk have been cast as the two leads in tvN’s tentatively named drama “A May’s Garden.” It is supposedly set to be a romantic medical drama, penned by scriptwriter Choi Yoon Jung, whose previous work include “Lie To Me” featuring Yoon Eun Hye and Kang Ji Hwan, and MBC’s “Running9.”

Following the official posters, tvN’s Reply 1994 unveiled the seven character posters.

On September, Reply 1994 revealed posters for Go Ara, Jung Woo, Yoo Yeon Seok, Kim Sung Kyun, Son Ho Joon, B1A4’s Baro, and Tiny G’s Min Do Hee, introducing their characters and personalities.

Go Ara’s character, Sung Na Jung is from Masan from the Gyeongnam province. The captions read, “When I go to college, I’m going to date Lee Sang Min oppa,” and “Sang Min ♥ Na Jung,” referring to popular basketball player Lee Sang Min from the 90’s.

With just a few more weeks to go, B1A4’s Baro introduced his character in tvN’s upcoming drama, Reply 1994.

On October 1, Reply 1994 released the character teaser for Baro’s character, Bingg Geu Rae, a med student from Goesan in the Chungbuk province. As Bing Geu Rae is a model student, Baro seemed a bit embarrassed act as a model student since he’s never been one.

When asked what he remembers from 1992, Baro replied, “I was a little too young that I can’t really remember anything. I was two-years old at the time.”

On October 11, Reply 1994 will begin with Episode 0, giving a good introduction to the upcoming drama. A similar special was aired for Reply 1997 as well.

“In Episode 0, you’ll be able to get a grasp of what kind of stories and past times will appear in the drama,” said the drama PD, Shin Won Ho. “It’ll be full of things to see, so please show your interest and support.”

On the second episode of TvN‘s Friday-Saturday drama “Reply 1994″ that aired on October 19, there was a surprising scene where a drunken Na Jung bites Garbage’s lips. Before the lip biting scene, the two were sitting next to each other with Jang Hye Jin‘s song “One Late Night in 1994” setting up the mood for a kiss. However, Na Jung bites Garbage instead of kissing him as the music changes to Lee Seung Wan‘s “A Dog of Flanders.”

On October 31, the music video of “To You” was released and the song was made available for download on various music sites. The song belongs to the part two of the drama’s OST.

“To You” is a beautiful remake of legendary Seo Taiji and the Boys‘ track with the same title. The original was released back in 1993, but composing team MELODESIGN has successfully updated the melody to fit the current music style. They are also known for producing ”All For You,” the much-beloved duet remake by Seo In Guk and Jeong Eun Ji of “Reply 1997.”
