In an interview for the September issue of @star1, Tiny-G’s Dohee revealed that no celebrity has hit on her since she appeared in tvN’s “Reply 1994.”

In “Reply 1994,” Dohee played the role of Jo Yoonjin, a straightforward, avid fan of Seo Taiji and Boys from Yeosu, who had some difficulty expressing her emotions.

During the interview, Dohee was asked if any celebrity had hit on her since her role in the drama, to which she replied that there had been none, though she honestly believed at least one would have.

"There were many people who told me they are my fans but I guess I lacked in womanly charms. So I thought that I should work harder and appeal my charms. I want a boyfriend soon. I’ve said this many times, but actually, the older I get, the less I seem to be in a hurry [to date]

Because of his extremely good looks, rumors of Kim Soo Hyun having had surgery have been flying around in China where the actor is enjoying extreme popularity nowadays.

Some online media reports in China talk about controversies such as “Kim Soo Hyun’s surgery,” saying that he is a “product of thorough plastic surgery.” They even went as far as to ask Kim Soo Hyun directly, “Korean stars do a lot of plastic surgery. Did you also have it?”

Actor Yoo Yun Suk, who catapulted to fame as the sweet and athletic Chilbong in "Reply 1994", will be having his very first exclusive fan meeting, which had been delayed back in April in light of the tragic Sewol ferry accident.


His agency, King Kong Entertainment, revealed that the event, "Yoo Yun Suk"s 1st STORY", will now take place at the Art Hall in Sowol, Seongdong-gu, Seoul on July 27 at 2:00 PM KST! Yoo Yun Suk is expected to put on an awesome event to make up for the fans" disappointment at its previous postponement, especially considering how much they were looking forward to it--tickets had sold out within thirty seconds for the initial date!

Coming back with another drama, Seo In Guk brought up his characters, ‘Yoon Yoon Jae’ from Reply 1997 and ‘Lee Min Suk’ High Schooler King of Life.

Seo In Guk attended press conference for tvN’s upcoming drama High Schooler King of Life on June 11 in Imperial Hotel located in Gangnam-gu and said, “I feel grateful for the character of ‘Yoon Yoon Jae’ from Reply 1997.”

He said, “Yoon Yoon Jae from Reply 1997 is a brusque character and has his heart set on only one woman. He acts cold to people around him but he was studious and was close to being an unreal character. But ‘Min Suk’ from High Schooler King of Life is far from being studious. If there is a common trait between the two, maybe it’s their uniforms”

Fans of the popular tvN drama “Reply 1994” have come together to help children who are very sick. Back in April, members of “Reply 1994″ DC Galley took part in a donation event which resulted in raising the total amount of about $10,265 USD. All the money raised was donated to Sinchon’s Yonsei Severance Hospital.

A representative of the drama’s fans commented, “Since we had money left over from our special events, we decided to donate the remaining amount. We donated to children with brain tumor in memory of the older brother of Sung Na Jung (Go Ara‘s character) and friend of Mr. Garbage who passed away as a kid in the drama due to a brain tumor.”

We featured some of our favorite second-lead K-Drama couples in our poll last week, and the readers have revealed who they were secretly hoping would wind up together.

The annual award that celebrates achievements in both film and television is back with its 50th edition. The “50th Baeksang Art Awards” has announced its list of nominees in various categories in both film and television through its official homepage.

Actor Kim Soo Hyun is up for two acting awards- Best Actor in Television and Best Rookie Actor in Film. His SBS drama “Man from the Stars” has its name in four award categories. Regarding these reports flying about tvN said, "It is true that Producer Shin Won Ho and writer Lee Woo Jung of the "Reply" series have entered plans for a new production. However, we are not sure that this production will be the third season to "Reply". PD Shin Won Ho, director of hit tvN dramas “Reply 1997” and “Reply 1994,” is working on a new drama.

According to a tvN representative on March 25, PD Shin Won Ho is in the middle of planning a new project.

PD Shin and the “Reply” team recently began recruiting for supporting writers. They will be working on the new project with him.

The representative stated, “PD Shin Won Ho is planning his new drama. However, it is not linked to Part 3 of the ‘Reply’ series. It has not been decided if there will be a Part 3 of the ‘Reply’ series. Plans for the new drama have not been finalized.”

It seems like the public can’t get enough of “Reply 1994.” The tvN drama has concluded its run, but the recent appearance of the cast on “Taxi” resulted in record ratings for the variety show.

Cable channel tvN aired a “Reply 1994 Special” on its talk show “Taxi” on January 4. “Reply 1994” stars Jung Woo and Kim Sung Kyun appeared on the program and gave us a look at what happened behind the scenes.

Clearly, the “Reply 1994” fever hasn’t quite settled, as the show recorded average ratings of 2.8%, with ratings peaking at 3.7%. The episode placed first amongst viewers in their 10s-40s among programs in the same time slot.

This makes it the most highly rated episode of “Taxi” in three years

While everyone was raving about tvN’s Reply 1994, Infinite’s Hoya may have been crying about it.

In the recently recorded episode of Mnet’s This is Infinite, the members participated in a game to get to know each other better.

With the beginning of the new school year, the members dressed up in uniforms and sat in desks and chairs, even solving quiz questions.


One of the questions asked, “When was the most recent time when Hoya cried.”

Making everyone laugh, Woo Hyun answered, “When he didn’t appear in Reply 1994.”

A little startled and surprised, Hoya replied back, causing a roar of laughter on set, “I didn’t even watch Reply 1994!”
