“Prime Minister And I” – Episode 7, 8 Recap

“Prime Minister And I” – Episode 7, 8 Recap by Couch-Kimchi:

So you already know that I had to be talked into watching this and my reasons for not wanting to watch were fairly lame. I’m back to confess once again how wrong I was. (LOL) We only had one episode this week but it was so much fun! A pivotal episode where both our leads seem to be aware they’re falling in love. *squeeee*

Da Jung tries helping our Prime Minister sleep by reading to him but she falls asleep – and plops right onto his shoulder. However, she wakes up when he tries to move her into a comfortable position and accuses him of being a wolf. (LOL) He also doesn’t like her using his bathroom, especially when she waltzes out in a bathrobe with wet hair.

Ratings Fall for ‘Prime Minister’ Despite Kisses, Serenades and EXO’s Suho

By in News posted Oct January 14th, 2014 No comments

It isn’t the lowest we′ve seen, but KBS’ Prime Minster and I continued its reign over last place with lower ratings.

On Monday night, Prime Minister and I recorded 6.9 percent in ratings, slipping back from its previous 7.3 percent.

The lowered ratings come from an episode that included a kiss, a special serenade from Lee Bum Soo, and a cameo appearance from EXO’s Suho.

As EXO’s Suho is expected to appear for a longer period of time in the following episodes, perhaps Prime Minster and I will see the EXO effect in the coming days, especially since nothing else seems to be working against such a big rival like MBC′s Empress Ki.

After all, that"s how he earned the nickname "hedgehog husband." However, things get more complicated when Yoon Si Yoon also warms up to YoonA.

YoonA and Yoon Si Yoon filmed their romantic rain scene at Goyang Cultural Center on January 4, when the couple acted out their suppressed feelings for each other perfectly with no NGs, pulling through the heavy rain made from a sprinkler truck in cold weather for two hours straight

YoonA put herself in the viewers" shoes by monitoring herself in between takes alongside Lee Bum Soo, PD Lee So Yeon, and staff. She couldn"t help but smile at the romantic comedy in her own scenes with her character"s wacky antics.

It"s safe to say that YoonA is more than busy with her recent win at the "2013 KBS Drama Awards" and the news of her budding romance with Lee Seung Gi in addition to her hectic filming schedule, but she shows that she is just as resilient as her character.

It looks like her hard work is paying off as fans are enjoying "Prime Minister and I"! Have you been tuning in?

On Tuesday night, Kwon Yul (Lee Bum Soo) made a move after tiptoeing around Nam Da Jung (Yoona) and his feelings for her.

It must be the miracle of love, because ratings for KBS’ Prime Minister and I did not decrease at all. The ratings didn’t increase either, but for Prime Minster and I to stay past the five percent range, it is something to be excited for as the drama previously struggled with lower ratings.

Meanwhile, MBC’s Empress Ki climbed up to 19.1 while SBS’ A Warm Word entered into two digits with 10.5 percent.
