Yoon Gun Sings Sing Lee Sang Yoon’s Theme Song for Drama “Angel Eyes”

Singer-songwriter Yoon Gun will lend his voice for SBS’s weekend drama “Angel Eyes.”

On April 21, a music producer involved in the drama’s OST shared, “The first singer the music director thought of when he received the script for ‘Angel Eyes’ months ago was Yoon Gun. His attractive voice suits the drama’s beautiful yet sad story on first love. We believe that fans of the drama will be more teary-eyed with the addition.”

Yoon Gun will sing the theme song for Lee Sang Yoon’s character Park Dong Joo who is a surgeon titled “To Love Fiercely” (working title).

The third OST has been released on April 21 through online music sites.

Rain in Talks for New Drama “Indian Summer”

Singer and actor Rain might be making his return to the small screen soon!

Rain is currently in talks to star in the upcoming drama “Indian Summer.” The drama is described as a traditional melodrama that will search for a message of healing and truth for those exhausted from the conflicts of our contemporary society. According to his agency, Cube Entertainment, Rain has received the offer to the star in the drama, but nothing has been confirmed.

If Rain chooses to appear in “Indian Summer,” he will be reuniting with director and producer Lee Hyung Min, whom he has previously worked with in his 2003 debut drama, “Sangdoo, Let’s Go to School.” Lee Hyung Min has also lead 2004′s “I’m Sorry, I Love You” and 2010′s “Bad Guy

Rain Receives Casting Offer from Romance Drama ‘Indian Summer’

Rain has received a casting offer from upcoming drama Indian Summer.

Cube DC, Rain’s agency, spoke with Newsen on April 21 announcing, “Rain has recently been offered to act in Lee Hyung Min PD’s new drama Indian Summer. The offer was made due to the PD’s connection to Rain but his appearance in the drama has not been confirmed yet.”

Rain first gained recognition for his acting by starring in KBS 2TV’s Sang Doo, Let’s Go To School! directed by Lee Hyung Min PD in 2003. If he confirms to act in Indian Summer, he will be returning to the small screen after four years since he starred in KBS 2TV’s The Fugitive: Plan B.

Indian Summer is a romance drama that is scheduled to air in the latter half of this year

'Very Good Days' drops in ratings despite being the only drama to air on Saturday

KBS 2TV"s "Very Good Days" was the only drama to air on Saturday.


However, understandably in light of the Sewol ferry incident, the drama dropped 4.7% in terms of ratings, down to 19.4% from 24.1% last week. During the episode, Taecyeon shared shocking news with the two child actors Hong Hwa Ri and Choi Kwon Soo.

Shinhwa member and actor Eric may be returning to the small screen!

Eric recently received an offer to appear in KBS 2TV drama, “Trot Lovers” which is scheduled to air sometime in June following “Big Man.” He is currently reviewing the role and the details of the plot.

New Drama “Big Man” Starring Kang Ji Hwan Releases New Posters

Upcoming KBS drama “Big Man” released its posters featuring the main cast members.

The first poster focuses on the lead, Kang Ji Hwan. In the poster we see two different versions of his character, Kang Ji Hyuk. One version is dressed in more casual clothes and he adjusts the tie of his sharper dressed counterpart in the mirror. There are two versions of Kang Ji Hyuk: the raised-from-the-dirt orphan Kang Ji Hyuk and the eldest son of a chaebol family Kang Ji Hyuk.

The second poster shows the main cast members Kang Ji Hwan, Lee Da Hee, Choi Daniel, and Jung So Min. Because of the close ups, only their expressions give hints to what their characters are like.

According to Japanese media outlet Sankei Sports on the 18th, Mnet"s four-part drama "Mimi" will be edited into a movie version to be screened in thirty theaters across Japan starting next month. ZE:A’s Dongjun has taken on the leading role along with actress Kim Bo Ra in “Climbing the Sky Wall” (working title), a special short drama created to help raise awareness for disabled people.

The cast attended the production presentation of the drama on April 16 held at the Deoksung Girl’s Middle school in Songhyun-dong, Seoul, receiving the cheer of 300 female middle school students.

“Climbing the Sky Wall” portrays the story of Tae Ho (Dongjun), the son of a former professional mountain climber father who loses the ability to move the lower half of his body. The story tells the conflict and reconciliation between Tae Ho and a blind girl named Yoo Jin who overcomes her disability and lives a positive life. The production team of MBC’s new Wednesday – Thursday drama, “A New Leaf,” revealed behind-the-scenes images of After School’s Joohyun on April 15.

Lee Jong Hyuk and Tiny G’s Do Hee will be making special appearance on a children’s drama.

The production team of EBS’s Pluto’s Secret Organization (translated) revealed on April 17 that Do Hee, Lee Jong Hyuk and Kim Jung San will appear as cameos.

ZE:A’s Dong Jun decided to help raise awareness and understanding of disabled people by donating his talent to a special drama.

Dong Jun attended press conference for drama Climbing Sky Wall (translated) on April 16 in Duksung Girls Middle School. The event was attended by lead actor Dong Jun and his co-star Kim Bo Ra, welcomed by over 300 fans.

Dong Jun took the role of ‘Tae Ho’ in the drama. Tae Ho struggles when his father, a former professional mountain climber, loses the ability to use his lower body due to an accident, but he begins to open up to the world again when he meets a blind girl, Yoo Jin.
