Upcoming historic tvN drama “The Three Musketeers” reveals main teaser prior to August release

By in posted Oct Comments off

With the full cast officially confirmed, including CNBLUE’s Jung Yonghwa, upcoming historic drama “The Three Musketeers” revealed their first main teaser, giving viewers a glimpse into each of the characters’ roles and capabilities, as well as the overall intense atmosphere.

Showcasing Jung Yonghwa’s character Park Dalhyang in a quick, impromptu sword fight with other warriors and protagonists, the short sect draws viewers in nonetheless, with their reflexes and honed talents, gained from long hours of practice behind-the-scenes. Props, clothes, hair, and more match the historic concept of this remake drama, as men don the wide-rimmed black hats and robes reminiscent of the Joseon Dynasty, while females decorate their hair as a crown and wear dresses of expensive splendor.

Two females are shown witnessing the fight, one afraid and in danger, while another appears determined and unafraid, mysterious in her appearance

[HanCinema"s Drama Review] "Gabdong - The Serial Killer"

By in posted Oct Comments off

Despite the existence of plenty of logical flaws and unresolved issues, the series managing to stay focused to a bigger degree than such stories usually do is commendable. It is also worth noting that the female characters here get good development and a position in the plot that goes beyond their romantic interests, the romance part also not overshadowing the main plot and appeal. In a series which could have easily turned them into damsels in distress, without agency or part in the crime side of things, this was a pleasant surprise.

This work could have been a lot more had it been shorter or perhaps spent more time with its characters than its complicated crime solving part, but as it stands, it is still much better a series and much truer to its genre and plot than average. Given how difficult it seems to be for a show trying something different to succeed in it, "Gabdong - The Serial Killer" remaining a solid series throughout and leaving the viewer with some food for thought make it a good addition to the evolution of Korean drama and hopefully an encouraging attempt to other creators who have different things to say

The top 5 K-drama Villains We Love To Hate

By in posted Oct Comments off

Wrapping up You Are All Surrounded and reflecting on the perfidy of Assemblyman Yoo, I realize I have become completely spoiled. I am used to my K-drama villains so ruthless, evil and crazy, that a man with a 20 year slow climb to power got a “meh, I guess he’s bad.” K-dramas have a wide variety of villains and some you love to hate. Sometimes you just need to stand up and cheer when these Baddies get their due. Here are five villains we love to hate:

5) Lee Hye Young as Jun Pyo’s mom in Boys Over Flowers.

Face it: you all hate her almost as much as you love Pretty Lee Min Ho. Jun Pyo eventually won us over, getting over his jerky, entitled self in the wake of Jan Di’s awesomeness. His mom? Well, Jun Pyo got his tendency to run roughshod over everyone and strut around like the Lord of Creation from somewhere

By in posted Oct Comments off

K-drama viewers often appreciate the wonderful soundtracks to their favorite shows, especially when the talented actors lend their voices to them. What receives less appreciation, however, are the actors with beautiful speaking voices. There are some K-drama actors who could mesmerize an audience just by reading the telephone book. Here are ten of the sexiest speaking voices in K-dramas:

1. Lee Sun Gyun

Fans don’t call him “The Voice” for nothing! It’s like velvet in my ears.

2. Lee Soo Hyuk

How could she reject his side after hearing him speak?

3. Song Young Kyu

This is the voice that inspired this article

HIGH SCHOOL: LOVE ON EPISODE 1
An angel decides to save a teen"s life and ends up mortal in this comedy-drama.

The angel, who adopts the name Lee Seul Bi thanks to an amalgam of magazines that she spots, has the thankless task of guiding the spirits of the recently deceased. When she turns mortal (presumably by saving the student), she acts very much like someone unfamiliar with humanity or even with a corporeal form: She doesn"t have a name or address. She doesn"t know about eating. She speaks to everyone in banmal (informal speech). She doesn"t know what it is to be ill. She expresses wonder when being rained on. And she experiences dejection for the first time. She also enjoys K-dramas :D

The boy she saves is Shin Woo Hyun. Woo Hyun is adopted by this angel-turned-mortal and she follows him everywhere
