The second stills released today for The Heirs are the famous ‘hand-locking’ scene between Kim Tan (Lee Min Ho) and Cha Eun Sang (Park Shin Hye) that we saw in episode 15 preview. The news article really tells us nothing except it is a sad scene, like duh, we know that. Whatever it is about, this will become another memorable or doki-doki scenes for The Heirs fans.
Tan is seen walking past Eun Sang in this scene and he grabs onto her hand and the two lock hands for awhile before Tan had to force himself to leave and release his grip on her. Please, I beg this not be a break-up scene, Tanny. Don’t make me /LC you for being a noble idiot.
That said, Lee Min Ho excels when it comes to emoting angsty so maybe it is a win-win situation for Lee Min Ho and The Heirs fans because we will see him deliver another fantastic performance
Despite the growing lack of sleep, the cast of SBS’ The Heirs still manages to find ways to smile.
Due to the continuous filming schedules, the staff as well as the actors, include Lee Min Ho, Park Shin Hye, and others are trying everything to find time to take quick naps.
According to the drama staff, Lee Min Ho and Park Shin Hye are only sleeping two to three hours, while filming the majority of the scenes.
However, even with the lack of sleep, the staff and cast are shooing their tiredness away with the continuously rising ratings and popularity. The Heirs received its highest ratings to date of 22.1 percent with its 14th episode.
The Heirs′ rivals are also somewhat helping. The ratings for MBC’s Medical Top Team and KBS’ Pretty Boy, are both lingering around five-six percent
With so much cute going on between Lee Min Ho and Park Shin Hye, SBS’ The Heirs unveiled new still cuts that might put an end to the happiness.
In the new photos, Lee Min Ho and Park Shin Hye stood in the middle of the Kim Mansion. They lock hands but end up walking past each other without looking at each other’s faces as a heavy atmosphere seemed to fall in the room.
The scene was filmed on November 22 with Lee Min Ho and Park Shin Hye completely in the zone as their characters tried not to look at each other.
In the drama, Lee Min Ho’s character, Kim Tan, promised Cha Eun Sang (Park Shin Hye) that he’ll get rid of all door frames so that she can enter any kind of world without an issue.
However, in the photos, Kim Tan appeared regretful and pained about something as Cha Eun Sang was ready to drop heavy tears
Ji Sook (Park Joon Geum) reveals Kim Tan’s (Lee Min Ho) and Choi Young Do’s (Kim Woo Bin) grades to Kim Won (Choi Jin Hyuk) and Choi Dong Wook (Choi Jin Ho) who visits the school, while the other mom (Kim Sung Ryung) meets with Esther (Yoon Son Ha) and asks her to officially announce Kim Tan’s and Rachel’s (Kim Ji Won) engagement. Meanwhile, Chairman Kim (Jung Dong Hwan) puts bodyguards on Kim Tan and tells them it’s okay to hurt him as long as they block him from going to school…
While viewers have been captivated by the teenage angst and romance that the cast of “The Heirs” have been showing, photos of the actors and actresses catching up on their sleep on set have been revealed!
“The Heirs” is currently receiving much love due to the great acting and chemistry of the cast including, Lee Min Ho, Park Shin Hye, Kim Woo Bin, Kim Ji Won and Park Hyung Shik.
Due to the tight schedule, the actors are spending their precious time-betweens and breaks to catch up on some much needed sleep.
Even though their breaks are short, the actors are using the time to sleep wherever they can, which shows us how they are putting their all into this drama. Despite the cold weather and the all-nighter filmings, even though they fall asleep for a short moment, the actors are said to get right back into gear when the cameras start rolling
Live shooting in The Heirs is taking a toll on our main casts. They are caught on camera taking a quick nap in between filming so that they can have the energy to soldier on & tackle the demanding schedule. In the newly released stills from the production team, we see Lee Min Ho, Park Shin Hye, Kim Woo Bin, Kim Ji Won and Park Hyung Shik stealing some snooze.
Being the main lead and one of the actors that have the heaviest on-screen time, it is no wonder Lee Min Ho can sleep anywhere and I wonder if he is indeed deep asleep because no one sleeps so beautifully as he does and it just makes me want to snuggle up to him and sleep beside him too.
Too bad this bed is too short for his long legs but nonetheless, it is a bed and can lie down for a quick 5 minutes rest
Kim Ji Won plays Rachel Yoo, who is Kim Tan’s fiancée in The Heirs; she despises and bullies the person that Kim Tan (Lee Min Ho) truly likes i.e. Cha Eun Sang (Park Shin Hye). In real life, Kim Ji Won and Park Shin Hye are only 2 years difference by age; in the drama the both of them had to go head to head because of a man but off-screen, they are as close as sisters.
Once the director has shouted ‘cut’, both girls will reveal their true mischievous side and start making faces in front of the camera (Ha, cute!). They often get together to discuss about the scripts, practise their dialogues or rehearse half way through and start chit chatting.
At first glance I thought they were cosplaying Harry Potter and I am looking at Hermione Granger and brown hair version of Ginny Weasley, LOL
The Heirs episode 13 and 14 left Frau, BBSwooner, The Crazy Ahjumma and I with many feelings that can not be expressed in just a few words. We decided to create this post with all our favourite scenes from the two daebak episodes. We will rant, swoon and die as we discuss each scene and why we love it so much. Come and swoon/rant/die with us!!!!
“The Emotional Hug”
Ducky: My first favourite scene is the emotional hug that we waited one whole week for! Why was it such a great scene and delivered so much emotions?
Frau: Yes, I love it! It was full of warmth and comfort as well as reassuring. It also signifies ES accepting Tan not only taking his hand but him as a whole
Female vocal trio Lush released its second single “Yesterday” on November 25.
The members of Lush made their debut with their first single “Miserable” in July, displaying their exquisite vocal prowess.
The concept of “Yesterday” lies in finding a new self, rather than dwelling on the pain of separation. The refreshing chorus, which is a combination of rock and pop comes beautifully together to create a memorable song. It’s a collaboration piece by Polar Bear and Wontag.
Lush might be considered as a rookie group, but it will be worth paying close attention to the group as there will be more promotional activities. Lush’s members are experienced vocalists having prior experience behind the scenes as back up vocals for some of Korea’s top artists as well as vocal trainers and working on albums of several famous artists
The new set of released stills give us more insight to the behind the scenes for The Heirs. I picked Kim Ji Won as the featured image because it is so rare to see her smiling on-screen so it is precious to see a smiling Rachel Yoo
Undeniably, The Heirs has received lots of attention since April 2013 when the rating queen Kim Eun Sook announced that she is producing a new drama and casted Lee Min Ho as her lead male character. Regardless what fans or netizens think, Lee Min Ho is buzzing hot internationally and is the hot item that would sell around the world. Through the help of promoting The Heirs with Lee Min Ho’s name and we add more actors and actresses that are just as buzzingly famous such as Park Shin Hye and rising actor Kim Woo Bin, how can this show not capture viewers’ attention?
I was under the impression that Kim Eun Sook did not like to cast idol actors but looks to me she has changed her mind and casted a fair few idol actors and actresses into The Heirs
laquetahodge is a Soompi Forum moderator / K-Drama blogger who is covering The Heirs for us on a weekly basis. Be sure to check out her great drama blog, K-Drama Central.
So much to talk about, so little space to write it out in. Despite some really serious issues going on, they didn’t spare some of the cuteness I so love when I watch dramas. So who shined more than some others and who else is saying “I told you so?” to Tan? *raises hand slowly*
More Consequences For Telling the Truth?
I’ll admit that I was so happy that the truth was (FINALLY) revealed about who Tan’s birth mother was, but I was a little scared about the possible repercussions. We find out from Ji Sook, who is rightfully peeved, that they didn’t cover up Tan’s birth just for the heck of it
Kim Ji Won and Kang Ha Neul from “The Heirs” were featured in the December 2013 issue of “Instyle” magazine, sporting a mature look in oversized coats and suits rather than fancy school uniforms.
In an interview that followed, Kim Ji Won answered some questions about her role in “The Heirs,” revealing a thoughtful personality.
On playing an antagonist, she said, “My character seems bad on the outside, but she just expresses her affection as hate and she (Yoo Ra Hel) is a character that has to go through a lot of conflict and loneliness. And thanks to Rachel and her fancy outfits, I’m having really good time on set.”
She continued that she nearly has her script in-hand all the time, and that whenever she gets some free time, she is reading “The Moon and Sixpence” by William Somerset Maugham
Kyaaaaa ~~ Kim Won (Choi Jin Hyuk) is singing for OST7!!! Now that hyung and buin (Park Shin Hye) have opened their mouth, will uri Kim Tan (Lee Min Ho) be the MAIN surprise? Pretty pleaseeee?
Honestly though, my heart skip a beat when I first saw the tiny little thumbnail of this stills. I really thought it was Lee Min Ho from side-view. The hair and the nose tricked my eyes. Anyway, the new OST 7 released today featuring Choi Jin Hyuk is named ‘Don’t Look Back‘. Is it a song to Hyun Joo? Look forward to hearing it! ^ ^
They’re two beloved stars on SBS’ The Heirs, but now Park Shin Hye and f(x)’s Krystal are facing off in this week’s K-Pop Battle!
Park Shin Hye
Park Shin Hye may be better known for her leading roles in dramas like You’re Beautiful , Flower Boys Next Door and current hit The Heirs, but the actress has lent her voice to numerous OSTs, making her a solid contender in our K-Pop Battle.
The actress played double duty, not only acting in but singing for the dramas she starred in, and most recently recorded Story for The Heirs OST as well as a remake of Standing Egg’s You’ve Parted But I Still.
Meanwhile, Krystal is already a well-known idol star and member of popular girl group f(x)
Getting more romantic by the episode, Lee Min Ho really outdid himself and caused hearts to flutter with just still cuts alone.
On November 21, SBS’ The Heirs released new pictures for upcoming episodes.
In this particular scene, Cha Eun Sang (Park Shin Hye) arrives at a party to deliver drinks, only to find out it’s a party held by her peers.
When Kim Tan (Lee Min Ho) arrives to the scene, he takes off her apron and unties her hair, transforming her from a worker to a party guest. He then plants three kisses on her forehead in front of everyone, not giving a care in the world who watches.
The scene was filmed on November 17. Despite the large number of people on location, the set was silent as Lee Min Ho and Park Shin Hye carried out the romantic scene that deepened the relationship between Kim Tan and Cha Eun Sang
Do you remember the scarf kiss in “High Kick Through the Roof?” How about the candy kiss in “Iris” or the foam kiss in “Secret Garden?”
Well, we now have an addition to the famous K-drama kiss scenes! Lee Min Ho and Park Shin Hye, in Wednesday’s episode (episode 13) of “The Heirs,” did a sweet donut ‘kiss.’ They didn’t actually touch lips, per se, but I want to say it still counts! In the episode, Lee Min Ho leaned over and bit off the opposite half of the donut that Park Shin Hye had in her mouth, getting up close and personal and taking her by surprise. How cute is that? He later paid the price with a punch to the arm, but I think it was worth it, don’t you?
Watch the official clip below!
What do you think? Do you remember kiss scenes from other dramas? Which one is your favorite, or the most memorable?
Rachel (Kim Ji Won) enters Kim Tan’s (Lee Min Ho) house and asks his mother why she came as Cha Eun Sang’s (Park Shin Hye) mother at the PTA meeting, Kim Won (Choi Jin Hyuk) announces the reshuffle of personnel at Jeguk Group and kicks out all of Chairman Kim’s (Jung Dong Hwan) people. Meanwhile, Rachel orders catering at Cha Eun Sang’s cafe and attends Yoon Chan Young (Kang Min Hyuk) and Lee Bo Na’s (Krystal Jung) party as a part-time worker…
Madam Han: You go into the room. Don’t come out. They said Rachel came! Rachel: Why did you come to the PTA meeeting as Eun Sang’s mother? Chairman Kim: What the- a reshuffle of personnel all of a sudden? Secretary Yoon: Seems like the war has begun
Today’s first released stills are behind the scenes of actors fighting the cold while filming. Gaaahhhhh… I’m already shivering on behalf of them when I look at these.
I often feel so bad for them when they have to wear so thin during filming (because they have to fashion the sponsor apparels) and also admire their dedication to complete filming out in the cold or snow! Nothing comes free without putting some hard work into it and this is what the actors are doing – fighting the cold to deliver us their best in The Heirs.
My least favourite couple romantic scene in Episode 11 Why? Because of what Eun Sang said, “It’s like a dream” and what she did afterwards in the morning. It’s like a kindergarten level of ‘one night stand’
While Park Shin Hye rules the Cosmo in the Chinese Edition, uri newly married I Hear Your Voice star Lee Bo Young rules Cosmopolitan at home looking stunning in bright red and showing off that leopard print bag.
Hmm too bad I don’t have eyes for branded things, so I can’t name the bags. Hahaha!
