Countdown To “The Heirs” Finale – Episodes 17 and 18

By in News posted Oct December 8th, 2013 No comments

I am not sure what to say about this week’s episodes. It was just one big emotional blur with the occasional comical scene thrown in there. Things have come full circle and though I wanted to throw something at my computer screen, I am glad I didn’t. Fictional characters aren’t worth it, I am trying to convince myself this.

Young Do and Tan’s History Comes Full Circle

What do I mean by this? We know why Tan and Young Do’s friendship fell apart and we found out the moment that they both regretted was when it was Young Do’s last moment to see his mother. Tan regretted not trying hard enough to get Young Do and Young Do regretted worrying more about beating Tan than seeing his mom for the last time. When it was time for Young Do to find Tan, he does everything he can to make sure something like this won’t happen again by making sure Ki Ae was safe then finding Tan and giving them his car

Lee Min Ho Ignores Park Shin Hye in The Heirs?

By in News posted Oct December 6th, 2013 No comments

New stills released from SBS today show us Kim Tan (Lee Min Ho) and Cha Eun Sang (Park Shin Hye) bump into each other in front of the Dreamcatcher shop.

Stay tuned tonight on SBS to watch this scene and find out how Eun Sang is allowed back in Seoul and how they meet and why or how Tan decide to ignore her. Is it because he thought he is imagining her appearing before his eyes?

As we have learnt from last night’s episode that Eun Sang is hiding in some countryside and Tan decided to give her up so that she can have her normal life back. It tore him into pieces to give her up and he goes into self-destruction afterwards losing any hope or courage to live on because living is too unbearable for him in that house, being who he is

Lyrics to Lee Min Ho’s Painful Love / Love Hurts

by pogagsa

Can’t you wait a little longer?
Don’t you know my bruised and hurt heart?
Because of you, I’m crying and laughing
But why are you trying to leave me again?

Can’t you think of yourself first for just once?
Why are you hiding yourself, pretending that you’re not?
I want to live as if I forgot you
But I can’t do anything without you

The person who always stayed by my side
That person is you
I can’t hold onto it but I can’t let go
My painful love

How much more do I have to throw myself away?
Can you hear my sobbing heart?
I want to hug you like crazy
I can’t stand it without you

The person who always stayed by my side
That person is you
I can’t hold onto it but I can’t let go
My painful love

Even if I give up my everything
You’re my only one person who is worth it
My person, who is sadder than me

The person who will silently hug me
That person is you
I can’t stop it but I can’t block it
My painful love
My love

Well, I was really caught off guard after this scene of The Heirs' Episode 16! INTENSE!

Moreover, I was trying to compare Lee Min Ho's other kiss scenes with Park Min Young in City Hunter, and Son Ye Jin in Personal Taste.

Which do you think is the most heartfelt and intense one?

If I am to be asked, I would go for ShinHye-MinHo. The angles were awesome and the scene itself!

I just realized that we have 2 weeks left until “The Heirs” ends..I’ll wait until everyone is done crying. No wonder all the action is coming in now, we have to get to that point when Won and Tan join forces to take down Chairman Kim. Dun dun dun!

Daddy Kim Truly Is Evil

This man wouldn’t care if his own children suffered as long as he feels like he’s “teaching” them a lesson. He made a fool out of Won and Tan at the shareholders meeting only to show them how powerful he is. Life is a game to him, and everyone around him are his game pieces and disposable

Weekly K-Pop Music Chart 2013 – November Week 5

By in News posted Oct December 1st, 2013 No comments

For the third straight week, a song from outside of the top 10 the previous week captures the No. 1 spot. This week the honor belongs to Davichi, as their latest hit “Letter” jumps all the way from No. 21 to the top. It is the second chart topping hit for Davichi this year. The duo also hit No. 1 with “Be Warmed” back in April. Congratulations.

“Letter” is from Davichi’s digital single “Davichi Code.” Written by hitmaker Jun Hae Sung, “Letter” has an acoustic guitar arrangement. Davichi expresses the poetic lyrics with their perfect harmony. This song won on MBC Music Core last week and consistently ranked among the top songs across all charts. As a result, it beats last week’s No. 1, miss A’s “Hush” for the top spot this week

Mi Rae tries to get a grip of herself in the ladies after getting officially rejected by Shin, Writer Bae walks in and queries her regarding her Christmas date. Meanwhile, PD Lee wakes up from his little drooling nap (yes, there is drool on the desk) and sees Se Joo looking down on him, frowning. LOL. PD Lee obviously has no idea and continues to mock Se Joo but changes tone straight away and shuns Se Joo aside when the vice director enters the office

Episode 16

Chairman Kim shows ES two airplane tickets. One ticket is for her to leave Tan right now and go where ever she wants. The other ticket will give her 2 weeks to see Tan as much as she wants. But at the end of the 2 weeks, Dad will send her where he wants. And it definitely won’t be anywhere in Korea. It will definitely be different from the U.S. and France. She can pick which ever ticket, but only one ticket will let her go up the stairs to Tan’s room.

While grocery shopping, ES’s mom is getting text messages from people she borrowed money from, thanking her for paying them back.

Back at the house, ES’s mom asks KA, “Did you give me the severance pay already?” This surprises KA- she doesn’t want ES’s mom to quit yet. She interviewed a few people today, but no one was good enough

Lee Min Ho’s Soundless Cries in The Heirs

By in News posted Oct November 28th, 2013 No comments

Lee Min Ho will break thousands of hearts tonight when his character – Kim Tan from The Heirs is going to cry soundlessly near a locker at the school corridor. Episode 15 picks up the pace a little in terms of the main plot of ‘The One Who Wears the Crown, Bears the Crown’. Chairman Kim was furious when Esther Lee renounced the engagement and decided it was time for him to step in and put an end to the love bird’s relationship.

These TWO scenes* will air tonight on SBS whereby Tan enters the school ground and grab Eun Sang (Park Shin Hye) out of class. He finds out the options his father offered to his girlfriend and gets upset. Although we don’t know for sure what happened after that but I’d assumed that Eun Sang has taken Option 2 and the two of them have no idea how to ‘solve’ this problem yet
