One Sweet Word Ep 1 Eng Sub
allkpop [TV Program Guide] [Variety Edition]: [Op-Ed] Leessangs departure from variety: the problem with jumping to conclusions
I don’t usually discuss serious topics on the allkpop TV Guide. But this past week, something really big happened, something worth talking about – and it, sadly, didn’t need to happen at all.
I am, of course, talking about the hip-hop duo Leessang‘s announcement that they would be ending all of their stints on variety programs, with Gil on ‘Infinity Challenge‘ and Gary on ‘Running Man’. This is a reaction to the massive backlash they have received over a concert (‘Super 7‘), featuring the ‘Infinity Challenge’ members, that was produced by Leessang Company.
MC of ‘Strong Heart‘, Lee Dong Wook opened up about what his family thought regarding his bed scene with actress Oh Yeon Soo.
Lee Dong Wook shared, “In my drama, ‘A Sweet Life‘, I had a bed scene with Oh Yeon So, and even though it was a television show, the scene was quite explicit.”
He then added, “I watched that scene on television with my mother and father. Before, my father would ask questions about each scene, but when he watched that scene, he did not say a word. After my mom watched the scene, she spoke with her friend on the phone and made plans to hang out. She left right away.“
After spending three sweet months with her husband Ki Sung Yueng in England, Han Hye Jin will be making her way back to Korea to resume her acting career.
On September 16, Namoo Actors announced that Han Hye Jin has been casted for the upcoming SBS drama, One Warm Word (tentative title).
“Even after she moved to England, Han Hye Jin showed great passion in acting. She’s received many love calls, but she especially enjoyed writer Ha Myung Hee’s previous words and decided to choose One Warm Word.”

Kdrama “Basketball” Episode 6 Recap by DramaBeans
After Chi-ho confesses his feelings to Shin-young right in front of San, San attempts to guard his territory by telling Chi-ho that he’ll pretend he never heard anything. Chi-ho: “It wasn’t said for you to hear.” Meooow.
San holds his and Shin-young’s interlocked hands up for Chi-ho to see. “This woman is in a relationship with me,” he all but growls. Chi-ho knows this well, but replies that San isn’t a suitable man for Shin-young, and San’s downcast eyes shows that he knows this well.
Korea seems to have caught the “Re-4 disease” as cable channel tvN’s Friday-Saturday drama “Reply 1994” recorded its highest rating of 7.3% since it started airing four weeks ago.
The seventh episode, “That Summer,” was aired on November 7 and was warmly received, earning itself a 6.2% rating. The peak viewership reached 7.3% and was number one in cable, satellite and IPTV viewership during the same period.
The show seems to be bent on breaking its own records, with the sixth episode garnering an average rating of 5.8% (peak 6.9%). It is predicted that “Reply 1994” will break its predecessor “Reply 1997”’s record average viewership of 7.6% and peak viewership of 9.5%. Viewership is evenly spread amongst all genders and age groups, ranging from 10s-50s. Combined with its number one ranking in its time slot, it just might qualify as the next “national drama.” Females in their 30s recorded the highest rating spike of 8.8%. (Episode 8 attained an average rating of 7.1% and peak viewership of 8.6%.)
Kdrama “Answer Me 1994” Episode 7 Recap by DramaBeans
It’s a sweltering summer in 1994, and Na-jung has a new part-time job working the counter at a chicken and burger joint near campus. She’s surprisingly sharp and good with numbers, as she tells her customer the exact price difference between ordering his burgers and colas separately instead of as sets.
Someone pages her, and it turns out to be Chilbongie calling from baseball practice. He comes up with the adorably lame excuse that he felt like eating burgers, and wants to know if her store delivers.
YJ is furious- how dare she says San’s name? YJ begins to cry.
DH’s mother brings out the pictures of San, alive, healthy, and well. YJ’s hands shake as she looks as the pictures, and even DH can’t shake that expression off his face.
“There’s no way I wouldn’t know that San was living,” YJ cries, still half in denial. DH’s mom says that it was all for YJ and DH, that it would’ve been impossible for YJ to raise San, that it would’ve been impossible to do anything for San with that red string (indicating YJ’s criminal record) around her ankle. She says San is growing well, but YJ doesn’t want to hear her excuses.
EPISODE 171. Broadcast on November 10, 2013.
Today’s opening is a mostly recycled version of last week’s super-long intro of Ryu Hyun-jin (LA Dodgers). There are couple of adorable moments at the start, however, like how Gary shoots Ji-hyo cutesy heart baseball signals and Ji-hyo’s flubbed pitch.
The cast marvels at the baseball star’s sweet digs, joking that they should have treated him better during his last visit. Then they collectively cringe when Hyun-jin shouts out the corny magical incantation.
This is an unexpected treat! Hollywood actor Jamie Foxx sang a harmonious duet with Korean(-American) singer Eric Nam and shared two videos through the actor’s official Instagram account.
For the first video, Jamie Foxx has nothing but praises for his interviewee, Eric Nam. He writes, “I met this young man on Saturday when he came in to interview me about my role as Electro, as it turns out I was the one sitting across from a star. This young man’s name is Eric Nam from Korea and he is truly talented. Where are my Korean fans? Do you guys know @realericnam? Make sure you check out Part 2 as well.”
Lee Min Ho and Park Shin Hye finally ignite their burgeoning relationship with an emotional embrace on SBS’ Wednesday-Thursday drama “The Heirs.”
Picking up where the last episode ended, the November 20 episode of “The Heirs” shows Cha Eun Sang (Park Shin Hye) finally facing her feelings, as she walks up to Kim Tan (Lee Min Ho) and passionately embraces him. In the episode 12, Kim Tan had come to see her at work, and the two stood face to face shedding tears without exchanging a single word. The teaser pictures show that Cha Eun Sang clearly understands that he is deeply upset, and in spite of her complex feelings, moves forward to give him a hug, pressing herself close to him while on tiptoes.
Kdrama Mi Rae’s Choice: Episode 12 Recap
Shin is both surprised and slightly annoyed to find himself ambushed by Oppa with Ajumma in tow. What is this, a joke? Oppa pays him no heed; he merely instructs Ajumma to tell Shin “everything.” Crushing the DNA results in one hand and reining in his temper with a violent effort, Oppa hurls the papers at Shin and slams his way out without another word.
Shin is naturally irritated, but anger is quickly replaced by mute astonishment when he reads the DNA results. Ajumma quietly confirms her identity: “I… am Na Mi Rae from the future. In 2014… so, 24 years ago… I married you, Kim Shin.”

Se Joo walks into the meeting room, introduces himself as Miranda’s grandson who inherits her blood and money but there is one thing that cannot be inherited and that is a challenging mind. Meanwhile, PD Lee wakes up from his little drooling nap (yes, there is drool on the desk) and sees Se Joo looking down on him, frowning. LOL. PD Lee obviously has no idea and continues to mock Se Joo but changes tone straight away and shuns Se Joo aside when the vice director enters the office. Oppa enters seconds later and pays his respect at Se Joo awkwardly and using Jondaemal. PD Lee thinks it was some kind of joke and takes him awhile to grasp the truth. Mi Rae is the last to enter the office and sees Se Joo.

Get ready because you’re one step closer to the “Miracles in December” that will be released on December 5! SMTOWN recently uploaded the “Miracles in December” highlight medley onto their Youtube channel, giving us a taste of what’s to come in EXO’s first ever holiday album.
From the clip, we are able to distinguish five different tracks. The first track has a mid-tempo beat with a sweet guitar riff. The lyrics go, “When I see you, tears come / Like a fool, I can’t say anything / Tell me Merry Merry Merry Christmas / Hello, are you well?”
“Medical Top Team” Episode 1 Recap by Couch-Kimchi:
I haven’t seen much posted about MBC’s Wed/Thurs drama “Medical Top Team” (which is up against “Secret” and “Heirs”) so I decided to check it out for myself. I was excited Joo Ji Hoon is back in dramaland but I hate his hair in this one. Whoever the stylist is for Ji Hoon (and Woo Bin in “Heirs”) that believes helmet-hair is a good look should be immediately fired – both guys look horrible. But that’s totally off topic and my own personal opinion. Medical Top Team turned out to be intriguing enough that I find myself looking forward to the next episodes.
With hit drama The Heirs and kickass film Friend 2 keeping him busy, Kim Woo Bin is hot stuff these days, but what are people most interested in about the star?
We did a simple search on Korea’s portal sites to see what keywords come up in relation to Kim Woo Bin, and below are our finds.
That’s the first word that pops up next to Kim Woo Bin’s name, and we’re not talking cars. It’s the Konglish term for the lined bomber jacket, one of the many clothing items seen on Kim Woo Bin’s character Young Do on The Heirs.
Answer Me 1994 Episode 14 Recap by Dramabeans:
It’s the height of happiness and the depths of heartache, as one suitor takes a step closer, which invariably means the other gets left behind. The fallout turns out to be harder for my heart to handle than expected, especially when impending separation turns a simple goodbye into one that might be forever. Say it ain’t so!
