Series Overview: Fated to Love You is a Bundle of Laughter and Tears Written by Joyce On September 20, 2014
On the back of the finale of Fated to Love You, I’d like to say that the show will stay in my memory as the drama with the best character interpretations. It features the reunion of Jang Hyuk and Jang Nara, who starred together in Successful Story of a Bright Girl ten years ago. While Fated‘s plot is nothing out of the ordinary, the characters are really what steal the show and cement it as one of my favourite dramas ever.
If you’ve seen the Taiwanese version, you’d have a good sense of the plot – a one night stand, a pregnancy, a forced marriage, and then, a miscarriage. Cue angst with a capital ‘a’
“My Spring Day” premiered on MBC last week and I was very surprised by its setting. Initially, I found the couple’s pairing a bit odd due to the considerable age gap. However, thinking about it, a rookie actress could find more experience if she plays and learns alongside an experienced actor.
The story uses an interesting concept of cellular memory which is a medical hypothesis implying the recipients’ personalities are inherited from their donors. Will this show be able to make its way into the top ranking charts? Let’s find out. About the cast
Lee Bom Yi (Sooyoung) is a clinical dietitian working in Hae Gil hospital and is dedicated to living her life to the fullest. She is very down-to-earth and her morals are well-placed

It’s Okay, That’s Love, Episodes 5-8: Couples, Consent and Coitus Written by Alolika On September 19, 2014
“They did it! They did it! They did it!! Yeah!”
But I am not rejoicing because “it” – my juvenile euphemism for “sex” – was the most anticlimactic resolution to Hae-soo’s (Gong Hyo-jin) sexual anxiety (no pun intended). However, before I get down to the issues I have with the eighth episode in particular, let me broadly outline the problems the narrative is developing as the show continues (or considering my delay, the show has continued).
What felt like a strained connection between the two focuses of the drama – psychiatry and love – is now at one level, completely wrenched apart and at another level, intermingled with the purpose of sentimentalization

Disillusioned by the pettiness of human nature, and a resident of Earth for the past several hundred years, James has a centuries-old rule that he will never use his abilities to intervene in the lives of the people around him. Little to No Love for Spica.S’s “Give Your Love” Written by Camiele On September 17, 2014
It seems the latter part of 2014 begins the season of office fantasies. Sunny Hill returned with their ode to the work week romance, “Monday Blues,” and now we’ve got Spica.S, the “sexy side” of the powerhouse vocal group SPICA, giving us much face and fashion with their latest MV, “Give Your Love.”
Spica.S (meaning “Spica Special”) is the first foray into subunit territory for the vocal group. However, instead of being a specialty group consisting of only a few of the members, Spica.S seems to be a means for the girls to express their more daring, sensual sides. The only member who opted out, so to say, was Kim Bo Ah, who has taken the time to concentrate on a solo project
John Park’s “U” — An Addiction to Love? Written by Laura On September 13, 2014
A haunting piano melody resounds. Illuminated by harsh lighting, a young man cocks his head as he stares relentlessly into the camera. The movement seems barely human, an impression underlined by his unchanging expression.
Can this be him, the viewer may asks themself — the same young man who strolled around pastel-colored sets just 14 months ago, fumbling to declare his love to his “Baby“? The same wide-eyed, amiable babo who quietly worked his way into some of the most popular variety shows in South Korea over the course of the last year?
Indeed, John Park has returned to the music scene; and what a return it is. His new song “U”, described as a “soul-based UK pop-style song”, certainly adds a new sound to this year’s diverse releases
During a recent interview at the set of the poster shoot for SBS’ upcoming drama “My Lovely Girl,” singer-actor Rain didn’t hold back on his compliments for his junior and co-star, f(x)’s Krystal.

“My Lovely Girl” will be taking the spot of “It’s Okay, It’s Love” every Wednesday and Thursday starting on September 17. It is a romantic comedy/love fantasy drama about a man and a woman who try to embrace one another’s hurt through their passion for music.
Krystal also shared, “Se Na (her character) lives her life with nothing but her dreams of becoming a songwriter and she falls in love after meeting Hyun Wook (Rain’s character)
Lee Soo Hyuk recently finished his role as the detached and yet emotionally damaged chaebol Yoo Jin Woo in the comedy "High School King of Manners." So he is looking forward to his next project. The model-turned actor is considering a role in tvN"s upcoming drama "Sensible Love."
According to a tvN press release, he is considering the role of Kim Joon, a carpenter in the drama. Kim Joon is a young man with plenty of charisma but some tragic events in his past.
Lee Soo Hyuk"s agency, Star J Entertainment, confirmed that he is reviewing the script for "Sensible Love." The drama, set to air in November, concerns a girl who marries her high school teacher but then meets another man. Kim Joon would be that man but it"s not certain which male role would be the leading one
