It is time to say goodbye to KBS2TV’s “Marry Him If You Dare,” as the last episode of the drama will air today. However, to wrap up the drama in a memorable way, Yoon Eun Hye, Lee Dong Gun, and Jung Yong Hwa gathered to sign their scripts of the drama and snap a few photos.
The last filming took place in Icheon, Gyeonggi Province, on December 1. The three actors put forth their best effort to film a high-quality scene for the very last time. Despite the scene being short, it was shot multiple times to fully capture the detailed emotions that the three wanted to deliver. Even when lacking sleep and having a tight schedule, the actors appeared more energetic than ever and touched the producers’ hearts with their unbelievable professionalism. Having spent almost four months together, the three have become comfortable and friendly with each other, and like a small family, they kept joking and taking photos until the very end, making the atmosphere on set even more heart-warming
Still scrapping at the bottom of the ratings chart, KBS’ Marry Him If You Dare continued its reign over the third place.
While it ranked last, Marry Him If You Dare did see a slight improvement from 4.3 to 4.7 percent after a continuous streak downward. However, with only one more episode to go, there’s little chance that the drama will climb up to second place.
Meanwhile, SBS’ A Warm Word debuted at second with 6.8 percent.
Forget the image of a frizzy hair, baggy clothes Na Mirae because actress Yoon Eun Hye’s character shows her new, lovely style.
With only two episodes left, KBS2TV’s “Marry Him If You Dare” revealed new images of Yoon Eun Hye’s character that showed her new appearance. Forget the confusing thoughts of who Na Mi Rae will marry because one thing for sure is that the once unfashionable young writer has transformed into a beautiful, elegant lady.
Yoon Eun Hye, who plays news writer Na Mi Rae, dispelled any doubts of her character’s beauty, as new photos show the actress wearing a stylish blue dress, styled with her short, wavy hairstyle. As the new drama stills show Na Mi Rae attending an event with broadcast station heir, Park Se Ju ( Jung Yong Hwa), Mi Rae does not seem to lack in class in her new look
KBS’s new Monday-Tuesday drama “Prime Minister and I” is gearing up for its premiere with the release of two trailers and additional stills.
Lee Bum Soo will be playing the role of South Korea’s youngest prime minister Kwon Yool, who is known for his sharp intelligence, and YoonA will be taking on Nam Da Jung, a clumsy and absentminded reporter. Click here for YoonA’s stills.
The new stills of Lee Bum Soo show him as a charismatic and sharply-dressed prime minister. The first trailer also depict Lee Bum Soo in the same manner, a sharp contrast to bubbly YoonA featured in the second trailer. Both trailers only contain one line of dialogue, with YoonA calling out to Lee Bum Soo, “Prime Minister!” At the end, YoonA narrates, ”In December, the Prime Minister of Korea transforms
It unfortunately seems to not matter who is in the drama as KBS’ Marry Him If You Dare reached its lowest point on Monday night.
Despite having Yun Eun Hye, CN Blue’s Jung Yong Hwa, and Lee Dong Gun, who made a drama comeback after being discharged from the army, Marry Him If You Dare recorded a low 5.0 percent as compared to the highest of the night, 15.5 percent, which belonged to MBC’s Empress Ki.
The sad numbers come even when the drama’s biggest secret was revealed with big Mirae (Choi Myung Gil) revealing her true identity to Kim Shin (Lee Dong Gun).
Whatever the reason is for the low ratings, it doesn’t appear that Marry Him If You Dare will escape the dreaded last place unless something terrible happens to its two rivals
Girls’ Generation‘s YoonA has transformed into the paparazzi!
On November 15, new stills of the upcoming KBS drama, “Prime Minister and I” showed YoonA’s two-sided life that changed like day and night.
In the stills, YoonA shows an image of a passionate and slightly tomboy-ish reporter during the day. However, at night, YoonA looks stealthy and sly as she transforms into the paparazzi.
YoonA plays the role of Nam Da Jung, who is a passionate reporter, trying to get the latest scoop whether it’s during the day or night. When she finds a target, her eyes change into a focused and intense gaze. However, as much as Nam Da Jung has passion for her work, she gets swayed by many different happenings and crises, making her a not-so-perfect reporter
YJ is furious- how dare she says San’s name? YJ begins to cry.
DH’s mother brings out the pictures of San, alive, healthy, and well. YJ’s hands shake as she looks as the pictures, and even DH can’t shake that expression off his face.
“There’s no way I wouldn’t know that San was living,” YJ cries, still half in denial. DH’s mom says that it was all for YJ and DH, that it would’ve been impossible for YJ to raise San, that it would’ve been impossible to do anything for San with that red string (indicating YJ’s criminal record) around her ankle. She says San is growing well, but YJ doesn’t want to hear her excuses.
“For someone who loves her own child so much… how could you do this? So what if he was born in jail? Can a mom still not love him? Can a mom not raise him alone?”
Nothing can stop MBC’s Empress Ki as the story continues to unfold with a stellar cast.
On Tuesday night, Empress Ki made a new record by receiving 16.3 percent in viewership ratings. The new percentage marked the drama’s highest rating since the first episode.
The drama proved to be a hit since its premiere with a talented cast, a fast-paced but detailed story and excellent directing. Only six episodes into the series, Empress Ki is expected to continue climbing up the ratings chart.
Not much has happened since the last time Monday/Tuesday dramas were recorded.
MBC’s Empress Ki continues to lead. There was no gain or decrease.
SBS’ Suspicious Housekeeper fell exactly one percent from its previous ratings.
The sad story for Monday’s ratings is that KBS’ Marry Him If You Dare continues its roller coaster ride of up and down. For Monday, Marry Him If You Dare managed to climb a little slope of 0.5 percent, coming out to 5.9 compared to last episode’s 5.4 percent.
Marry Him If You Dare stills are out from this coming Monday’s episode, and Mi Rae is shown tending to a wounded ankle and perhaps, an aching heart.
On the next episode, Mi Rae injures her ankle from an accident during an outdoor shoot. Always bright and positive, she drops all pretenses, releasing her sad and complex feelings through her tears while she sits on a bench to clean her ankle. Perhaps a thoughtful Se Joo by her side will be soothing physically and emotionally?
The scene was shot on November 5th in Yeouido, and it may have lasted beyond midnight. And despite the cold conditions and long hours, Yon Eun Hye immersed herself into the moment and didn’t exhibit any exhaustion, no doubt impressing her fellow actors and the crew.
Poor Yoo Kyung! The latest released stills leading up to tonight’s episode of Mi Rae’s Choice (Marry Him If You Dare) show Yoo Kyung (Han Chae Ah) departing from her usual professional reporter poise and turning into a “cute and charming” drunk as a result of heartbreak. This “image reversal” scene was filmed at Samsungdong, Gangnam, and took considerable time to complete due to the crowded and noisy conditions.
It seems neither Se Joo (Jung Yong Hwa) nor Yoo Kyung will have an easy time of it in the coming episodes, with Yoo Kyung drowning her sorrow in drink because she finds herself in the unenviable role of confidant to Se Joo, maintaining her laughing smile as she keeps his secret in the name of friendship. Despite the fact that she had sincerely come to like and care for him, Se Joo only has Mi Rae in his heart, and Yoo Kyung ends up pouring out her deepest feelings to Ajumma Mi Rae in the scene pictured above
In Marry Him If You Dare, episode 8, the big Mi Rae(played by Choi Myung Gil) confessed to Na Joo Hyun(played by Oh Jung Se) that shewas his sister, Na Mi Rae.
The big Mi Rae remembered that she has kissed Kim Sin(played by Lee Dong Gun) at deserted house in the past. She yelled at Joo Hyun, “Why are you keep on putting Mi Rae and Kim Sin together?” As Joo Hyun did not seem to understand, she decided to tell him the truth. She said, “Brother, it’s me, Mi Rae. Your younger sister, Mi Rae, from the future, 2038.”

Every Monday and Tuesday is a roller coaster ride for KBS’ Marry Him If You Dare as ratings continue to rise and then fall.
Marry Him If You Dare recorded a 6.5 percent, close to a 1 percent fall from 7.4 in the previous episode. With such a predictable story, it seems that viewers are growing a bit impatient as the plot is slowly rolling out.
Will Marry Him If You Dare go uphill in the next episode, or continue trailing down?
Meanwhile, MBC’sEmpress Ki continues reigning over Monday and Tuesday, despite the little dip from the previous episode.
With a cast full of talented folks, KBS’ upcoming drama, Prime Minister and I began its production process with its first script reading.
On October 22, Girls’ Generation Yoona, Lee Bum Soo, Yoon Shi Yoon, Choi Jung Ahn, Ryu Jin, Lee Hwan Whi, Yoon Hye Young, Lee Young Bum, Choi Duk Moon, and other staff joined together at the KBS Star Hall for the first script reading.
The script reading took over three hours with the concentration level on high throughout the entire session.
“There are difficult areas when you start filming, but every time that happens, I get through it by thinking that this is a fight with myself,” said Lee Bum Soo, who acts as the prime minister, Kwon Yool. “I’ll do my best to become someone who everyone wants to act with
