“I Need Romance 3″ Episode 7 - 8 Recap by Couch-Kimchi:
This drama zips through relationships faster than a CW teen show. At this point, it’s like an American sitcom with 1-episode relationships except that instead of main characters dating quirky guest stars, they are dating other main characters.
Having said that, I found this week’s episodes a little interesting.
We learn that for the two months Sweet Potato has lived with Joo Yeon, he’s been her unpaid homemaker and caretaker while she’s been too busy to relax and enjoy a meal. She doesn’t really stop till the night she cries after disappointing her sunbae. After resting on Wan’s comforting shoulders for a bit, she suddenly perks up, announces that she’s hungry and rummages through the fridge for something to eat

After dragging Song-yi out of her beauty salon confrontation with jealous rival Yura, Min-joon demands to know who the girl in Song-yi’s photo is. He’s already guessed the connection but needs the confirmation: “Who are you?”
A flashback to Joseon takes us to the aftermath of doppelganger Yi-hwa’s kidnapping. She asks him a string of questions about his identity, offering that she believes in other life forms (whether grim reapers or folk-tale creatures), and therefore he can be honest about his origins. Through it all, Min-joon just looks at her with an enigmatic smile.
Song-yi invites Min-joon home with her, wanting to take care of him in exchange for him saving her life, and leads the way
Prime Minister and I - Episode 1 Recap by Dramabeans:
Next in the KBS rom-com lineup is Prime Minister and I, whose light and breezy tone took me by surprise. I knew to prepare myself for the cute, but I didn’t expect it to also stir the heartstrings in the first hour. There’s promise and potential in a story that moves fairly quickly that contains both heartwarming and funny notes. And damn, a prime minister has never looked this good.
Even though Prime Minister and I took in last place at 5.9% against its competitors (Empress Ki [♥] led the pack with 20.2% and A Warm Word followed with 6.8%), maybe a contract marriage is just the kind of hijinks medicine I need.
EPISODE 1 RECAP
We open at a banquet hall where preparations are underway, leading up to the arrival of our hero, Prime Minister KWON YUL (Lee Beom-soo) and his wife, NAM DA-JUNG (Yoon-ah), who greet the roomful of dignitaries with a smile
Prime Minister and I: Episode 1 RECAP by Drama Beans
We open at a banquet hall where preparations are underway, leading up to the arrival of our hero, Prime Minister KWON YUL (Lee Beom-soo) and his wife, NAM DA-JUNG (Yoon-ah), who greet the roomful of dignitaries with a smile.
But there’s a different story that lies beneath those adoring smiles as the power couple turns to each other… and exchange looks of distaste.
An imagined Matrix style fight scene points to a more tense and hostile relationship between them. And while the world may regard her husband as a respected public figure, our heroine doesn’t share in that opinion because, well, they’re in a contract marriage
Empress Ki/Hwatu/기황후 started last week after MBC’s previous sageuk drama (and sadly snooze-fest) “Goddess of Fire Jung Yi”. I consider this a one-off recap for now since Empress Ki will be 50 episodes long and I don’t know if I can hold out that long… Sageuks in general tend to lose me after the first 16 episodes
Taking a chill hump day, our stars sat down and enjoyed their day by chilling at cafes or by the beach with their bestest buddies in Today’s Twitter Roundup.
Super Junior’s Donghae was enjoying some downtime, instagramming, “Coffee time :)”
So was Heechul, who instagrammed his man-date with Siwon and Kim Min Jong. He wrote, “With New Yorker, horse-Siwon who enjoys brunch, soup, coffee and hangover-relief Jongie hyung, who’s eating brunch for the first time. And me, who doesn’t eat hanwoo in Seoul because of eating Hoengseong hanwoo since a young age.”
Meanwhile, Eric Nam had his own ‘date’ with a very pretty lady, instagramming, “Great time with Amanda Seyfried. Enjoy your stay in Korea and thanks for the great interview!!
He also wrote in Korean, “Amanda!! Thank you for such a fun and refreshing interview!! Enjoy your time in Korea and see you again
Active as both a Big Bang member and a soloist, Taeyang has sung so many songs in the past 7 something years Big Bang has been in the spotlight.
While there are plenty of good lyrics in all of Big Bang’s songs (much thanks to G-Dragon), we decided to look at Taeyang’s solo career and pick out some songs with lyrics that popped out from the rest.
When we first heard this fairly new song, we could only be reminded of our childhood, because Ringa Linga is basically just an adult version of a Korean children’s nursery song called Round and Round.
Ringa Linga goes:
Raise your hands, like you’ve gained your independence, Just around like you’re going to sprain your ankle, Shake it like you’re having a seizure
YJ is furious- how dare she says San’s name? YJ begins to cry.
DH’s mother brings out the pictures of San, alive, healthy, and well. YJ’s hands shake as she looks as the pictures, and even DH can’t shake that expression off his face.
“There’s no way I wouldn’t know that San was living,” YJ cries, still half in denial. DH’s mom says that it was all for YJ and DH, that it would’ve been impossible for YJ to raise San, that it would’ve been impossible to do anything for San with that red string (indicating YJ’s criminal record) around her ankle. She says San is growing well, but YJ doesn’t want to hear her excuses.
“For someone who loves her own child so much… how could you do this? So what if he was born in jail? Can a mom still not love him? Can a mom not raise him alone?”
After Chi-ho confesses his feelings to Shin-young right in front of San, San attempts to guard his territory by telling Chi-ho that he’ll pretend he never heard anything. Chi-ho: “It wasn’t said for you to hear.” Meooow.
San holds his and Shin-young’s interlocked hands up for Chi-ho to see. “This woman is in a relationship with me,” he all but growls. Chi-ho knows this well, but replies that San isn’t a suitable man for Shin-young, and San’s downcast eyes shows that he knows this well.
Shin-young stops Chi-ho from making a cool exit by slapping him across the face, chastising him for judging San so harshly, “That man is the best man I know!”
But Chi-ho has an admittedly fair retort: “When it comes to judging people wrongly, you’re the same in the way you judge me
MH thinks back on when YJ tried to explain that the car had only hit that barrel and that she had cleaned that barrel up herself, wanting to move it off the road. MH remembers that and orders GS to find the truck driver and figure out what it was that happened the day. MH looks at JH’s picture and then YJ’s and sheds a few tears AND THENNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN
WE GO BACK TO THE KISS
He kisses her once as YJ sheds a few tears. A momentary silence ensues before MH stands up and tries to explain himself, but YJ is adamant and says: “It’s okay. Mistakes happen.”
He stops her quickly again and says, “It’s not a mistake.” YJ falters for a second before walking away and thinks about what happened
