"Pride and Prejudice," starring Choi Jin Hyuk and Baek Jin Hee, is the latest in the courtroom dramas to show prosecutors as avenging heroes. So far, the first episodes of this drama succeeded in bringing a few bad guys to justice while trying to sort out the romantic history of the main characters.

But should you like your melodramas or romances with a legal twist, here are a few more that we enjoyed:

"Prosecutor Princess": In this comedy Kim So Yeon played the fledgling prosecutor who assumes a stylish wardrobe and perfect figure are her most important career assets. Her new co-workers are not initially impressed by her fashion priorities but will come to respect her incredible memory and sharp legal mind

But in his next role he will be easier to read

Which Actress Is The 'Baddest K-Drama Female' Villain?

By in News posted Oct October 27th, 2014 No comments

2NE1"s Cl may claim to be "the baddest female" in her song of the same name but some k-drama heroines give her a run for her money.

These actresses don"t always play bad girls but when they do they are really good at it.

Take Yoo In Young in "The Three Musketeers. Her character Mi Ryung adds an even darker shade to k-drama villains. She has killed to become princess and she"s ready to kill again. Whoever gets in her way deserves to die and she"s maybe a little delusional in thinking the prince, played by Lee Jin Wook, will love her for her dedication.

There are plenty of female villains in k-dramas but there are few that stand out. We at Kdramastars would like to give an unofficial Baddest K-Drama Female Award to the following actresses:

Baek Jin Hee: In her role as Empress Danashiri in "Empress Ki" she killed nuns and was ready to snuff out the life of an innocent baby to secure her spot on the throne and in the affections of Ji Chang Wook

TEEN TOP”s Changjo cast as male lead in drama “Sweden Laundromat”

By in News posted Oct October 27th, 2014 No comments

TEEN TOP"s Changjo has snagged his first role in a drama!
He"s been cast as the male lead in MBC Every1 and MBC DramaNet"s collaboration drama "Sweden Laudromat". The drama is a comic fantasy revolving around a laundromat run by a young female owner who can see other people"s troubles. His character, Yong Soo Chul, is clumsy and makes a lot of mistakes, but never stops running toward his dream.

Song Ha Yoon has been cast as the female lead, and as the male lead, he"ll have a love line with her. Changjo said, "It"s my first time appearing in a drama, but the members are cheering me on, so they"re a big strength. I want to show a side of me that I haven"t been able to yet through "Sweden Laundromat". I"m going to work really hard."

The PD said, "Because Yong Soo Chul"s character was created under a specialized image, instead of casting actors, we wanted to cast a new face that can deeply melt into the story

[Highlights] “My Lovely Girl” episode 11

By in News posted Oct October 24th, 2014 No comments

We only had one episode of “My Lovely Girl” this week (here’s hoping that Krystal is being given the time she needs to take care of herself!) but I thought it was a pretty good one. The plot moved forward in every storyline, there was cute romance everywhere, and we even got an accident-free performance from Shi Woo! So now, without further ado, here are my top five moments from this week’s episode:

1. Se Na kisses Hyun Wook. Their whole birthday date was adorable, but to me the best part was how Se Na ended the evening by kissing her new boyfriend. She’s open and honest about how she feels, and I love that about her.

2. Jae Young isn’t going anywhere, but at least he’s pretty. Honestly, Jae Young annoys me. He exists to stir the pot and cause trouble for our heroes, and he’s a terrible human being

Thanks for supporting us by watching “Fated to Love You” on SoompiTV!

The sound of silence is heavy and thick in the morning air, its burden a weight on your shoulders, daunting, cold, and lifeless, as you timidly walk into the room. You immediately notice the stark interior and the oddly placed “Fated to Love You” promotional poster on the wall. Panic settles in. You want nothing more than to simply turn and run away.

As if sensing your trepidation, your best friend puts a reassuring hand on your shoulder, giving you a nod of encouragement. You grimace in fear, but still manage to flash her a meek, wavering smile. With a sharp exhale of breath, you take a seat on the leather couch. Your best friend, your pillar of support, follows suit

'Sweet Secrets' Offers A New Spin On The Single Mom Drama

By in News posted Oct October 16th, 2014 No comments

A new drama, "Sweet Secrets," takes on the subject of single moms. While it"s not the first k-drama to do so, it is the third one to tackle the subject this year.

The other two recent single mom dramas are "The Greatest Marriage" and "Mama." "The Greatest Marriage," starring Park Si Yeon, Bae Soo Bin and Noh Min Woo, is about a newscaster who decides she wants a baby but not marriage. Her decision creates a scandal, as she is a national figure. "Mama," with stars Hong Jung Hyun and Song Yun Ah, told the story of a successful painter who is a happy single mom until she learns she has a terminal illness.

And "Nine Plus Boys" even touched on the subject when Oh Jung Se"s sister told him that she did not want him to marry a single mom, even though the mom in question was his former girlfriend and a divorcee

[Halftime Report] “My Lovely Girl”

Thanks for supporting us by watching “My Lovely Girl” on SoompiTV!

Now that “My Lovely Girl” has aired half of its episodes, let’s evaluate how it’s doing so far. Personally, I’m really enjoying this drama—and here are 6 reasons why:

The setting. Maybe this is helped in part by the scandals currently plaguing the K-Pop world, but I find the storylines at AnA absolutely fascinating. The relationships between managers and trainees, the negotiations with idols, the process of developing a song, the way that scandals are handled… I’m not sure how realistic anything we see onscreen is, but it feels realistic, and I find that really cool. (The presence of so many idols in the cast helps add authenticity as well!) The love triangle
