Girls" Generation"s Jessica shared photos of the sights she"s seen during her trip to Prague for "CeCi" magazine.

 

On August 29, Jessica posted photos to her Weibo with the simple message, "Prague," to let fans know what she"s been up to. Despite the idol"s relaxed look in the candid photos, her natural style and smile make them look like they could be part of the magazine shoot.

The Girls" Generation member left for Prague on the 26th to take photos for "CeCi" magazine.

On August 26th, MBC released a video of Baek Ayeon covering Girls’ Generation’s hit track “Way To Go” live during an episode of FM4U radio show, “Music Party.”

It has been a year since the K-POP Star alum made her comeback with “A Good Boy” making this video a treat for her fans.

Baek Ayeon is shown wearing a comfortable, sporty sweatshirt with her long hair down. She sings the song effortlessly, hitting every note and even mimicking some of the song’s original choreography.

Girls’ Generation’s Sunny Shares About a Knee Injury That Ended Her Growth Spurt

On the August 28 broadcast of KBS 2TV’s variety program “Happy Together,” Girls’ Generation member Sunny revealed her frustration about how her growth plates closed at an early age during her school days.

During the show, Sunny shared a story about how she was growing taller during her school days, which made her happy. She went on to explain, “But one day, I injured my knee. So I went to the hospital where I was told that there was a little inflammation, and I would just need to take some medicine. However, the doctor suddenly said, ‘But it looks like your growth plates are closed?’ For a young girl [to hear that], it was like a bolt from out of the blue.”

Besides Sunny, this particular episode of “Happy Together” also featured kickboxer and MMA fighter Choi Hong Man, volleyball coach Kim Se Jin, announcer Do Kyung Wan, former pro-gamer Hong Jin Ho, and comedian Hwang Hyun Hee, who gathered as guests for the ‘Tall vs

Sunny Reveals Which Girls’ Generation Members Use Insoles on “Happy Together”

Girls’ Generation member Sunny made an appearance on the August 28 broadcast of KBS 2TV’s variety program “Happy Together,” for the ‘Tall vs. Short’ special, and revealed that the shortest members of the group sometimes use up to three layers of insoles.

During the show, the topic of insoles was brought up. One of the male guests confessed that he uses about three different insoles at a time, comparing it to women’s heels, and said that his ankle is still fine even if the insoles bend.

After hearing this, Sunny said that she could relate, saying, “There was a time that I was dancing on stage when that happened. During ‘Into the New World’ and ‘Oh!’ we wore sneakers. The tall members don’t need to wear insoles, but they started to use insoles in order to have better proportions

On August 28, Taeyeon of Girls’ Generation uploaded a photo onto her personal Instagram with the caption, “Supporting the film ‘My Brilliant Life.’”

The photo is of her and her long time ideal man, Kang Dong Won. In Korea, “successful fans” are fans that are able to meet up with the celebrity that they like. So Taeyeon finally became a “successful fan” of Kang Dong Won.

The photo was taken while on the set of filming “My Brilliant Life,” where Taeyeon is making a cameo appearance. Kang Dong Won has his arms around her shoulder with a smile while Taeyeon shyly leans in. Many fans were amused with the photo, since she seems obviously nervous in meeting up with the man that she picked as her ideal type.

In a past interview on August 15, Girls’ Generation even mentioned that some of them almost couldn’t debut because of Kang Dong Won

On August 28, Sunny appeared on KBS 2TV"s "Happy Together 3" and had fun talking about her height.


She explained that she started growing taller during her school days, which made her happy. She continued, "However, one day, I hurt my knee. I went to the hospital where they told me there was a small infection, so I needed to take medicine. But then the doctor said suddenly, "But it looks like the growth plate shut off?" For a young girl, that was like a bolt out of the blue."




She revealed she was 158 cm (~ 5" 2") tall. She said, "There are some members who put in insoles. Besides me, there are Taeyeon, Hyoyeon, Jessica, and Tiffany

On the August 27 broadcast of SBS’ “One Night of TV Entertainment,” 2PM member Nichkhun made an appearance to take part in an interview for the entertainment news program, about his recent transformation into a bag designer.

During the interview, Nichkhun was caught off guard by a question referring to his girlfriend, Girls’ Generation member Tiffany.

The reporter asked the 2PM member about his latest whereabouts, to which he replied that he is currently filming a Chinese drama in China. Then the reporter went on to ask him, “You’re really happy, right?” Nichkhun answered that he is extremely happy during filming, trying to settle the question with a vague response. In the September issue for Cosmopolitan magazine’s Chinese edition, Jessica modeled her recently debuted BLANC eyewear line by pairing them with elegant and feminine Longchamp outfits and accessories. Girls’ Generation’s Sooyoung recently had her first filming for her new drama, “My Spring Day.” On August 27, MBC revealed her interview. The filming took place on August 19 in a marketplace in Gyeonggi-do Suwon. Wearing a casual outfit Sooyoung showed her signature energy on the set.

In her interview Sooyoung revealed her post-filming thoughts, “Hello my name is Choi Sooyoung and I play the role of Lee Bomi (her name literally means “spring”) on ‘My Spring Day.’ I couldn’t sleep last night and I was nervous as I came out of the house this morning. When I actually got here the staff members were so nice and the atmosphere on the set was good, which I think helped me get through the first filming without any big problems.”

She added, “‘My Spring Day’ may have some heavy topics but it’s also bright and pleasant with the ability to move the audience’s emotions and warm their hearts

Girls’ Generation‘s Tiffany has offered a peek inside her home, located in the sunny California, through TaeTiSeo‘s new reality show.

In the show premiere that aired on August 26, the three girls traveled to Los Angeles. While enjoying their time off before heading to KCON, the members paid a visit to Tiffany’s residence in the States, which is prepped with everything from pools to tanning beds for the perfect summer day.

Seohyun, Tiffany, and Taeyeon could be seen hanging out by the pool, chatting their day away and relaxing in the sun. Unfortunately, the cameramen were not invited inside the house, but the luxurious outdoor facilities left an impression on the viewers.

Girls" Generation"s Yuri and her older brother took a time machine to the past as they both uploaded pictures of themselves when they were younger.


Yuri posted one of her older brother coddling her on August 26, "Jun love me sooooo much. All of my fans love me too i love u guys also ;) [sic]." The two of them look absolutely adorable and huggable as they sit atop a stone bench.

Girls’ Generation member Yuri recently revealed photos of her younger self that were taken with her older brother during their childhood.

On August 26, Yuri posted a brief message on her own personal Instagram account, “Jun love me sooooo much. All of my fans love me too i love u guys also ;) [sic],” along with a photo of her with her older brother, Jun, as children.

In the uploaded photo, the two siblings can be seen sitting together on a stone bench with playful expressions on their faces, as Yuri’s brother has his arms wrapped around her.

Additionally, the Girls’ Generation member’s brother also posted another photo from their childhood onto his own Instagram account. In this particular picture, you can see Yuri sitting on a toy car in between her brother and cousin, with a big, bright smile on her face

Girls’ Generation To Hold a Concert at the Tokyo Dome

Girls’ Generation,or more popularly known in Japan as Shoujo Jidai, will finally be performing in one of the largest concert venues in Japan: Tokyo Dome.

It has been four years since the famous girl group officially debuted in Japan and in gratitude, they have released their album “THE BEST” which topped the Oricon Weekly Chart for two weeks in a row immediately upon release. To cap off their gratitude to their fans, they will be holding their first ever dome concert entitled “GIRLS GENERATION THE BEST LIVE at TOKYO DOME” this coming December 9.

#catchGG in Girls’ Generation latest promotion for Japanese comeback

Earlier in the month, we revealed that Girls’ Generation had released a mysterious countdown on their official Japanese website. The group has now released another mysterious video, titled “#catchGG”

The #catchGG promotional campaign seems to be related to tagging your posts with the hashtag in order to receive something special. In the video, Jessica explains that the event is to connect the members of Girls’ Generation to their fans, while Tiffany invites fans to “catch” the girls.
