M.I.B's Kangnam, 4Ten, Tae Jin Ah & Ali To Perform At 55th Annual Korean-American Day Celebration In New York City
(Photo : M.I.B, Jungle Entertainment ) M.I.B”s Kangnam, 4Ten, Tae Jin Ah, and Ali will perform at KAAGNY”s 55th Annual Korean-American Day Celebration.
On Tuesday, January 13 the Korean American Association of Greater New York (KAAGNY) will present the 55th Korean Night and Day Celebration. M.I.B’s Kangnam, girl group 4Ten, legendary trot singer Tae Jin Ah, and female vocalist Ali are included in the performance lineup.
January 13 is Korean-American Day, as recognized by the United States Congress. The theme for the 2014 celebration of Korean-American Day was “Amazing Korea” while the 2015 theme will be “Greatest Generation.”
One would think this is an incredibly boring series. They would also be wrong. Yes, this drama lacks the tropes that come with most shows. No overly dramatic conflicts, no twists, no gimmicks. There is also no romance here, despite it being a Korean drama staple. How is it not boring then? Well that is simple. This is a well-written show with a good feel for what really moves and engages people beyond the mere satisfaction of raw emotional needs. It handles subjects people can relate to, rather than just fantasize over. And it does so through looking at people, rather than using them.

Korea Has Its Own Take at the Vampire Trope Written via Sarah On October 20, 2015
The Vampire is one of the vital maximum iconic supernatural creatures in many human cultures, and in fresh years South Korean culture has offered many in their own takes at the bloodsucker. The currently popular Scholar Who Walks the Night, which just wrapped, is the latest edition and, in fact, the maximum at the get began Korean edition of the vampire.
The creatures will have grow to be more popular in South Korean culture in the wake of american blockbusters like Twilight and Anne Rice’s older Interview with a Vampire series, yet they are very prevalent nowadays and it’s miles going to marvel you to be informed that Korea has no local vampiric tradition. The Korean vampires we see in today’s dramas and movies appear to resemble a go between the Eu vampire who is repelled via garlic and holy water and the hopping, zombie-like Chinese jiang shi.
