'My Secret Hotel' Offers Some Of The Craziest K-Drama Weddings

By in News posted Oct September 17th, 2014 No comments

K-dramas have their share of crazy weddings. There was the wedding in which Son Ye Jin discovered that her boyfriend was marrying her former best friend in "Personal Taste." And then there was the wedding, which turned into a divorce ceremony for Moon Geun Young and Kim Jae Wook in "Mary Stayed Out All Night." And there was the proposed wedding ceremony between ghosts in "The Master"s Sun." The groom did not like the choice of brides and boycotted the ceremony.

But perhaps the craziest k-drama weddings ever are taking place in the romantic comedy "My Secret Hotel," starring Yoo In Na, Jin Yi Han and Nam Goong Min.

Naturally, this comedy is about weddings since Yoo In Na, who played Jun Ji Hyun"s frenemy in "You Who Came From The Stars," plays a wedding planner for the upscale Secret hotel

By in News posted Oct August 19th, 2014 No comments

Breaking up is hard to do-especially in a k-drama. Lately, several k-dramas have focused on couples getting back together after a break-up or divorce. A recurring theme in k-dramas is that some couples are fated to be together and no matter how they try to avoid each other they were destined to meet. And in some cases that fate is so strong that it will survive a break-up or even a divorce.

These dramas may also reflect the rising rates of divorce around the world and in Korea. As sad as break-ups and divorces can be in real life, it"s nice to see that k-drama characters can resolve their differences and reconcile.

In the past year viewers have enjoyed the comic antics of couples that broke up then made up in "Emergency Couple" and "Cunning Single Lady
