Lee Bo Young has been having a great year, and she was the undisputed star at yesterday’s 2013 SBS Drama Awards.
She took home the Daesang Award, the highest award given to an actor or actress, for her outstanding performance as public defender Jang Hye Sung in the drama “I Hear Your Voice.” This is her first Daesang Award since she made her acting debut in 2003.
Lee Bo Young also walked away with the Producers’ Award and the Top 10 Stars Award.
She was emotional in her acceptance speech, holding back tears as she said, “There were many outstanding nominees tonight so I’ll think of this as an award for the ‘I Hear Your Voice’ team. I never thought I’d be able to win a Daesang, but I got a little greedy since this was such a good drama
Korean Drama The Heirs (Inheritors) Episode 20 Recap by joonniTan and Young Do stand apart, but together, looking out into the city. YD finally breaks the silence: “It’s cold.” He’s describing the weather, but it is also how he feels. Tan adds, “It’s cold…and dark.” Silence falls between them again as they each try to fight off the cold and dark feeling hovering over them because of their fathers. At a cafe, Tan discusses his situation with a woman, who we learn is a lawyer. Tan doesn’t trust the lawyers at Jeguk anymore, and he wants this new lawyer’s help transferring legal proxy rights to Won from JS for his stocks.Yoon and Won are busy preparing for battle against JS too. Yoon reports to Won which person has how many percentage of stocks. Won notes that because the margin between the percentage held by JS and her people are close to the percentage held by Won and Tan and their people, it’s going to a battle to try to get the rest of the stockholders to side with them
The Heirs episode 13 and 14 left Frau, BBSwooner, The Crazy Ahjumma and I with many feelings that can not be expressed in just a few words. We decided to create this post with all our favourite scenes from the two daebak episodes. We will rant, swoon and die as we discuss each scene and why we love it so much. Come and swoon/rant/die with us!!!!
“The Emotional Hug”
Ducky: My first favourite scene is the emotional hug that we waited one whole week for! Why was it such a great scene and delivered so much emotions?
Frau: Yes, I love it! It was full of warmth and comfort as well as reassuring. It also signifies ES accepting Tan not only taking his hand but him as a whole
laquetahodge is a Soompi Forum moderator / K-Drama blogger who is covering The Heirs for us on a weekly basis. Be sure to check out her great drama blog, K-Drama Central.
So much to talk about, so little space to write it out in. Despite some really serious issues going on, they didn’t spare some of the cuteness I so love when I watch dramas. So who shined more than some others and who else is saying “I told you so?” to Tan? *raises hand slowly*
More Consequences For Telling the Truth?
I’ll admit that I was so happy that the truth was (FINALLY) revealed about who Tan’s birth mother was, but I was a little scared about the possible repercussions. We find out from Ji Sook, who is rightfully peeved, that they didn’t cover up Tan’s birth just for the heck of it
There was so much goodness in episode 13 of The Heirs that we couldn’t sleep at night. Okay, that’s a lie, but our hearts were still pounding…especially for Choi Young Do, who stole the episode with his little drops of confession everywhere.
Yoo Rachel: What do you plan on doing now?
Choi Young Do: I plan on keeping your mouth shut.
Yoo Rachel: What?
Choi Young Do: Keep your mouth shut. This is not a plea; it’s a warning, sister.
Yoo Rachel: So… you mean you’re going to continue keeping Kim Tan’s secret? Why?
Choi Young Do: Because it’s the only good thing I’ve done

The long-awaited Korean drama of the winter season has arrived! Not only is it Lee Jong Suk’s return to the small screen after playing genius surgeon in Doctor Stranger (although I much preferred “I Can Hear Your Voice“), but it’s also that of Park Shin Hye after the highly popular “The Heirs.” Side Note: Interestingly enough, it was Kim Woo Bin who had been proposed the lead role but, due to scheduling conflicts, was forced to decline. Who here would have preferred to see Kim Woo Bin and Park Shin Hye’s sizzling chemistry instead? I think this is a close call…
The first episode starts with Choi Dal Po (Lee Jong Suk) skipping school to make his big entry on a televised game show where he has to answer questions correctly against one of his classmates
“Pride and Prejudice” Case #5 – The dead woman in the toilet
Just kidding, it isn’t that kind of story. Anyway, you know what I love about this drama? The fact that they don’t string us along with a mystery that one or both of our main characters already know. In this case, we find out that it’s because Goo Dong Chi failed to save Yeol Moo’s little brother that he switched his studies from medical to judicial—and became an ace prosecutor instead.2. Kang Soo pretending to be jealous of grandma Geum Ok’s attention towards Chan.5. Dong chi’s smug expression when Yeol Moo gets sick at the sight of the dead woman.
6. Jang Won and Gwang Mi’s handling of the crazy man who had to save the water from boiling because it hurt.

Ko Kyung Pyo revealed that he was surprised by Kim Woo Bin’s acting.
On May 29, Ko Kyung Pyo attended media day for film Highheel and said, “I frequently watch the projects starring actors my age.”
He then said, “I think Kim Woo Bin is really good at acting. I was surprised when I watched The Heirs because he’s similar to me in age and has had limited acting experience. I thought, ‘How can he be so good at acting when it hasn’t even been long since he debuted?’ He also has this cool atmosphere about him.”
He revealed, “I found a video with a compilation of Kim Woo Bin’s scenes from The Heirs online. I watched it several times.”
In Highheel , Ko Kyung Pyo played the role of detective ‘Kim Jin Woo,’ who regards detective ‘Ji Wook’ (Cha Seung Won) as his older brother
