I am not sure what to say about this week’s episodes. It was just one big emotional blur with the occasional comical scene thrown in there. Things have come full circle and though I wanted to throw something at my computer screen, I am glad I didn’t. Fictional characters aren’t worth it, I am trying to convince myself this.
Young Do and Tan’s History Comes Full Circle
What do I mean by this? We know why Tan and Young Do’s friendship fell apart and we found out the moment that they both regretted was when it was Young Do’s last moment to see his mother. Tan regretted not trying hard enough to get Young Do and Young Do regretted worrying more about beating Tan than seeing his mom for the last time. When it was time for Young Do to find Tan, he does everything he can to make sure something like this won’t happen again by making sure Ki Ae was safe then finding Tan and giving them his car
Mi Rae’s Choice: Episode 16 Recap We’ve travelled all the way with our characters to the end of the line, but whether the journey is ultimately rewarding or even satisfying for characters and viewers alike… is up in the air.The final episode brings us back full circle as we once again consider the role of human choice in fate’s dictates. The running theme of “hope” also continues to drive Mi Rae’s motivations in her fight for her career and her dreams, but I find myself left with more questions and loose ends than answers, coupled with the unsettling feeling that hope is more often empty than it is fulfilled. EPISODE 16 (FINAL) RECAPEveryone waits with baited breath as Shin pauses for a seeming eternity over his prompts: Will he defy his superiors by reporting on the deadly humidifier sterilizing agent or will he remain quiet and choose self-preservation?Gathering himself, Shin finally begins to report… and it is not on the humidifier story, but on a more mundane matter
So much anguish this week’s episodes of SBS’ The Heirs, especially episode 17 with so many tears and even a bit of blood.
Of course, we still managed to pick out some meaningful moments, so be sure to check them out!!
Way to break his heart twice – not saying good-bye…and then saying good-bye through CCTV.
I plan on exposing the heir to Hotel Zeus, Choi Young Do. Choi Young Do with his perfect face and his endless charms tripped me, threatened me to eat jjajangmyun with him, and pretended to hold me but dropped me into the swimming pool. But he really liked me. I was going to hold it in because Choi Young Do is so good looking, but I would like to get a return for my innocence
Actor Lee Min Ho revealed that since his debut, he has never shed tears for his role as much as he did in “The Heirs.”
OnDecember 4, episode 17 of ”The Heirs” was aired. With the real trial pressing, the male lead Kim Tan (Lee Min Ho) ended up crying for 7 times throughout this episode! It is unusual for male leads to show his tears such many times like this.
An insider from “The Heirs” commented, “Since the debut, Lee Min Ho has never cried harder in one episode of dramas. So many emotional scenes kept continuing and it was really heartbreaking.” This shows how much Kim Tan’s heart kept feeling struggling.
[Warning - Semi-Spoilers ahead]
This episode started with a crying scene of Kim Tan. Eun Sang (Park Shin Hye) left Kim Tan alone in an empty house, he fell on his knees and broke down crying
Despite having a group of very pretty boys in both dramas, we’re seeing completely opposite results.
On Thursday night, SBS’ The Heirs claimed its highest ratings to date with 23.9 percent as Kim Tan and Cha Eun Sang realized they cannot live without each other.
On the flipside, KBS’ Pretty Boy experienced its lowest point ever, dropping to 3.8 percent.
With The Heirs only having two more episodes to go, maybe things will get better for Pretty Boy, unless The Heirs’ successor, Man from the Stars, which stars Kim Soo Hyun and Jeon Ji Hyun, decides to continue the success.
The Heirs Episode 19 Synopsis and preview YD yells at Tan, “If you miss her, then go see her.” Tan replies he isn’t going anymore. “You can have her.” YD grabs Tan by the collar and pulls him up. He demands, “What did you say? Do you want to die? Do you have the right to break down?” Tan says, ”No, he doesn’t.” Looking at Young Do tearfully, Tan says, “I can’t do it, Young do.” Angry, YD throws Tan down and walks away. Tan struggles to get up, but he can’t.Won notifies his dad of Yoon’s new position. Dad scoffs that Yoon is only capable of reaching that high. The crowd currently set on stoning Shin-young to death are suddenly startled by the sound of a gun—Japanese police officers have shown up to break up what they deem as an illegal protest.
Sung-won tries to rally the people to hold their ground, but another shot fired into the crowd scatters them. Meanwhile San, unconscious from having protected Shin-young, is helped up by Chi-ho and Sung-won. The latter rejects the former’s offer to take San to the hospital, claiming that the only way Chi-ho can help is to pretend like he never saw them.
While Sung-won patches San up, he also chastises him for taking such a big risk in helping Shin-young

Today’s SBS first stills are the scene where Choi Young Do (Kim Woo Bin) found Cha Eun Sang (Park Shin Hye) from Episode 17 of The Heirs.
Hmm looks like Eun Sang didn’t call Young Do but how did he get to the police station and she goes to meet him there? We will see Tan feeling hurt in tonight’s episode while Young Do is calmer and both go on a search for Eun Sang. In this scene, Young Do is so glad that Eun Sang is well & alive that he could not contain himself and gave her a big bear hug.
I kind of understand how he feels because his mother left him without saying goodbye so he must be worried sick about his mother for years and what Eun Sang did mirrors that, thus, he is just happy that she is safe and he sees her again
Can’t believe it’s already the second last week for this drama!

Spolier alert! An online community recently posted several pictures from the popular SBS drama “The Heirs.” Actors Lee Min Ho and Park Shin Hye were spotted shooting for the drama in the areas around the East Sea shore.
Many are guessing that these images were taken during the filming for the upcoming episode 17. According to some sources, although he does not appear in these pictures, Kim Woo Bin was spotted as well.
Fans of the drama and fellow netizens commented, “Spoiler…but I wonder what will happen next,” “What were they doing over there?” “I was curious after the latest episode because there weren’t any previews for the next one.”
On another note, Kim Woo Bin is currently very much compared against Yoo Yeon Seok from “Reply 1994″ as both are having one-sided crushes for the main female character of their respective drama
After a quick dip back into the teens, SBS’ The Heirs shot back up 21.1 percent, reigning number one once again.
MBC’s Medical Top Team ranked second at a low 5.1 percent, while KBS’ Pretty Boy drooped even lower at 4.3 percent.
It seems that all eyes are on The Heirs at the moment with the next chapter into the drama now open.
Meanwhile, tvN’s Let’s Eat kicked off at 1.349 percent, a good number to begin with for a cable drama. So far, the drama has received good reviews about the food porn and the sad, yet relatable story of living alone.
