It’s October, and the three main broadcasting companies have fielded new dramas. KBS2’s “Future Choice” starts on October 14, and SBS’ “The Heirs” and MBC’s “Medical Top Team” started on October 9. While all three dramas have their own charm, they all happen to have one thing in common – idol group members with major roles.
“Future Choice” Jung Yong Hwa
Four-member band CNBlue’s leader and main vocalist Jung Yong Hwa (25 years old) has a leading role for the third time. Prior to CNBlue’s Korean debut in 2009, he played Kang Shin Woo in SBS’ “You’re Beautiful,” earning him the nickname “Towel Guy.” He then went on to play male lead Lee Shin in MBC’s “Heartstrings.” In “Future Choice,” he plays the role of Park Se Joo, disguising himself as a maknae VJ. Super Junior’s Kim Heechul will be making a cameo in the hot new drama, “The Heirs.’
On October 15 the singer shared a photo on his official Instagram account and wrote, “If Hyung Shik is for Ryeowook, then Min Hyuk is for Donghae. With ‘The Heir’s’ ChanYoung. After reaching some sort of deal with Kim Eun Sook I shot a cameo on ‘The Heirs’. I’ll explain what sort of deal I made with Kim Eun Sook on ‘War of Words‘. Please watch ‘The Heirs’! Sweet. Let’s get 90% viewer ratings when I come on.”

“My Lover From The Stars” is being written by scriptwriter Park Ji Eun (KBS drama “You Who Rolled In Unexpectedly”) and directed by PD Jang Tae Woo (SBS drama “Tree With Deep Roots”). Previously titled “The Man From The Stars,” the production earlier nabbed Jeon Ji Hyun and Kim Soo Hyun in leading roles, making it their second collaboration since movie “The Thieves” (2012).
Speeding into romance from the start, Lee Min Ho and Park Shin Hye spent the night together in SBS’ The Heir.
On October 11, the cast and staff of the The Heirs filmed the ‘bed scene’ on a drama set located in Gyeongi’s Tanhyeon.
