Kdrama “Mi Rae’s Choice” Episode 7 Recap
The episode opens up with Shin walking up on a Se Joo and Mi Rae moment. He turns to a corner with disappointment on his face. He dwells on it a little and decides to call out to them to join the others. Se Joo gets up first and Shin gives Se Joo a pat on the arm for his hard work and thanks him for his quick thinking on the water tank. Se Joo quietly accepts his appreciation and goes inside.
Refresh to read the live update!!!
We are back at the theater, with KT translating the exchange taking place in the movie.
KT: Do you like me?
ES and KT just gaze at each other. ES says “probably not.” KT: “Why?” ES: “Because you are engaged.” KT: “even so.” ES: and you look younger. KT: “But that happens often in Hollywood. ES: “We’re in Hollywood????”
KT and ES are outside, where they see the Hollywood sign. ES: “We’re at Hollywood!!” (lollll that transition knocked me off).
I wonder how many more hugs it will take for Joong Won to move past his discomfort long enough to sense her desperation. When will his ego realize she isn’t clinging to him out of attraction and more out of urgency for rest and peace. Is he blind? It sort of makes you wonder just how much darker do they need to get for him to notice those dark circles mean she is in dire need of sleep. Even after just two episodes, we know enough backstory to get that Gong Sil has her work cut out for her. Getting this guy ready for any sort of intimacy like hugging is going to take a small miracle. That’s why it’s a good thing that she is the type to go ahead and do it first and make excuses later. I love how she takes every opportunity to touch him even though she knows full well how much he hates it. Not that anyone can blame her – given a choice between slightly offending someone and having to deal with more ghosts, I’m surprised she hasn’t started stalking his home. All this time he has been pushing her away, but the preview clearly showed a change in his demeanor. He seems to have finally come to some sort of realization about her. For the first time as he held her in his arms, I think the truth was finally sinking in. That her fear is genuine and her belief that he is the only one who can keep her safe might just be for real.
Kdrama Basketball: Episode 10 Recap by Dramabeans
As the mine shaft collapses around San and Byeo-ri’s Dad, Chi-ho is left completely blindsided by Shin-young’s sudden marriage request. She’s at least truthful when she tells him why she’s asking, in that she’s doing it to protect San. Points for honesty?
San regains consciousness amidst the rubble and helps free Byeo-ri’s Dad’s leg from fallen rocks. The leg is badly crushed and bleeding, so the elder tells San to find a way out without him. San refuses—they’ll escape together.
Kdrama Mi Rae’s Choice: Episode 12 Recap
Shin is both surprised and slightly annoyed to find himself ambushed by Oppa with Ajumma in tow. What is this, a joke? Oppa pays him no heed; he merely instructs Ajumma to tell Shin “everything.” Crushing the DNA results in one hand and reining in his temper with a violent effort, Oppa hurls the papers at Shin and slams his way out without another word.
Shin is naturally irritated, but anger is quickly replaced by mute astonishment when he reads the DNA results. Ajumma quietly confirms her identity: “I… am Na Mi Rae from the future. In 2014… so, 24 years ago… I married you, Kim Shin.”
Oh my god, LOVE!
This would have to be my favourite one released from the newest bunch today. Viewers don’t get enough SeKyung stills and so these are pretty precious since we only have 4 episodes left and we are unsure if they will get together.
Their love needs time to grow and it’s exactly like this piggy with the knitting, the heart needs time to heal and be ready for the next ^ ^
We don’t get enough romance between Mi Rae and Shin either even though they love each other. I didn’t mind that because through what they are going through, they are learning and grooming themselves to be better suited for each other…
If you’re here, I’m going to assume you’ve seen the show, so let’s dive right in.
A major theme of the drama is the role of god/time/fate, whatever that force is that refuses to let Sun-woo change things to his will, even if presumably that very god/time/fate has permitted a world wherein time-traveling incense sticks exist in the first place. Quibbles. (But honestly, talk about entrapment.)
This force is not treated as a religious or paranormal power, and in fact it’s not an overt character in the drama. The characters speak of a god, but the drama doesn’t explicitly show some external force acting upon the world; it’s more of an interpretation than a hard-and-fast explanation. So while we (and the characters) infer that some generic higher power is displeased at the disruption, the issue is more about retaining a cosmic balance rather than a direct punishment-reward dichotomy.
Nine: Series review
To get a fuller intro into the show, you can catch our recaps for Episode 1 and Episode 2, but I’ll give an abbreviated setup anyway:
Our hero is Park Sun-woo (Lee Jin-wook), a successful news anchor who sees every scenario through a no-nonsense, facts-first lens. He has an older brother who’s a wandering lost soul, as weak-willed as Sun-woo is strong; his ailing mother lives in a nursing home with dementia; and his father, a hospital director, was killed twenty years ago in a fire.
Lee Min Ho will break thousands of hearts tonight when his character – Kim Tan from The Heirs is going to cry soundlessly near a locker at the school corridor. Episode 15 picks up the pace a little in terms of the main plot of ‘The One Who Wears the Crown, Bears the Crown’. Chairman Kim was furious when Esther Lee renounced the engagement and decided it was time for him to step in and put an end to the love bird’s relationship.
After teasing us with an exciting teaser a few days ago, a new and even more thrilling clip of Kim Soo Hyun and Jun Ji Hyun in the SBS’ drama “My Lover from the Stars” has been revealed!
“My Lover from the Stars” will be taking the time slot of “The Heirs” after the latter ends, and is gaining massive interest for its cast full of A-list actors and actresses. The teaser starts with Chun Song Yi (Jun Ji Hyun) looking cozy but glamorous while enjoying her coffee outside and saying, “My first love? I still remember him.” Next, the camera switches to a steamy bathroom where Do Min Joon (Kim Soo Hyun) is taking a shower, and soon you find yourself looking at him leaning closer and closer to the female superstar. Narration by Chun Song Yi goes, “Tall, handsome… It was just a short moment, but it felt very mysterious, and still friendly at the same time. It was the best.” During the scene where Do Min Joon walks through a crowd of people and stops to look at a large screen and an interview of Chun Song Yi, the female star says, “If I just see that person, I feel like I will immediately recognize him. Like fate.” Lastly, Do Min Joon pushes Chun Song Yi next to a wall, stares into her eyes intensively and asks, “You… Who are you?” Don’t you just want to know what happens next?

Chan Young’s Dad: Eun Sang is not going to be in school starting tomorrow. Eun Sang left.
A third teaser for the upcoming SBS drama “My Lover From the Stars” has been released.
The drama is the love story about Do Min Joon (Kim Soo Hyun), an alien who fell to Earth 400 years ago, and Chun Song Yi (Jeon Ji Hyun), a haughty star. In addition to the supernatural premise, the drama has been receiving a lot of attention for its impressive main lineup, featuring Kim Soo Hyun, who has been all the rage nowadays, and Jeon Ji Hyun, who is making her comeback to television for the first time in 14 years.
Mi Rae’s Choice: Episode 16 Recap
We’ve travelled all the way with our characters to the end of the line, but whether the journey is ultimately rewarding or even satisfying for characters and viewers alike… is up in the air.
The final episode brings us back full circle as we once again consider the role of human choice in fate’s dictates. The running theme of “hope” also continues to drive Mi Rae’s motivations in her fight for her career and her dreams, but I find myself left with more questions and loose ends than answers, coupled with the unsettling feeling that hope is more often empty than it is fulfilled.
Basketball: Episode 15 RECAP by Drama Beans
After San scores Korea’s first one-handed basket, Chi-ho congratulates him. San replies that it wouldn’t have been possible without his help, to which Chi-ho smiles and says, “Thanks to you, I was reminded why I play basketball. My calling as a basketball player… I’ll never forget it again.”
They decide to work together as a team, and we only hear of their win when Daddy Choi does, through the radio. This news, like all other news ever, makes him angry.
