Kdrama “Mi Rae’s Choice” Episode 7 Recap
The episode opens up with Shin walking up on a Se Joo and Mi Rae moment. He turns to a corner with disappointment on his face. He dwells on it a little and decides to call out to them to join the others. Se Joo gets up first and Shin gives Se Joo a pat on the arm for his hard work and thanks him for his quick thinking on the water tank. Se Joo quietly accepts his appreciation and goes inside.
MH thinks back on when YJ tried to explain that the car had only hit that barrel and that she had cleaned that barrel up herself, wanting to move it off the road. MH remembers that and orders GS to find the truck driver and figure out what it was that happened the day. MH looks at JH’s picture and then YJ’s and sheds a few tears AND THENNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN
WE GO BACK TO THE KISS
He kisses her once as YJ sheds a few tears. A momentary silence ensues before MH stands up and tries to explain himself, but YJ is adamant and says: “It’s okay. Mistakes happen.”
Girl group f(x)’s Victoria was all set to appear in a Chinese drama, but it seems that filming has been abruptly halted even before the first shoot. This has undoubtedly left fans curious as to what is happening.
On November 8, Chinese media portal Sina.com reported that the production team for Chinese fantasy wuxia drama “Chinese Paladin 5“ had been suddenly dissolved. Director Lee Guo Li first brought up it up the topic via SNS.
Running Man Episode 170 Recap By DramaBeans
Running Man EPISODE 170. Broadcast on November 3, 2013.
A cyclone descends on the land of Oz, leaving behind two bewildered visitors: co-stars of the spy movie Alumni, Kim Yoo-jung and TOP. I have a feeling you’re not at the Busan International Film Festival anymore.
Still, the My Sassy Girl tree is a familiar site, and when TOP asks if she recognizes it, he gives us our first corny joke of the day with the answer: “It’s a pine tree.” Lol.
Kdrama Pretty Man: Episode 1 Recap by dramabeans
In a fancy high-rise apartment overlooking the city, a woman dressed to the nines paws hungrily at a man who looks rather bored by the proceedings. This is our titular pretty man DOKKO MATTEI (Jang Geun-seok).
As she unbuttons his shirt, she offers to buy Mattei a car, and he brings the date to a screeching halt. He sighs that she sees him as all the others do—as someone who’ll do anything to get nice things from women.
The November 30 episode of KBS 2TV’s variety show “The Human Condition” showed 2PM‘s Taecyeon joining the show in the “Living Without Stress” special. He joins the six permanent members of the show as they spend six days together trying different methods of living without stress.
Everyone first stated what worried them the most, and Taecyeon answered, “The question that all celebrities have- when will my popularity fall?” Otherwise, Taecyeon stated, he has no other stressors; neither his fellow 2PM members nor his family or agency stress him out. Later he revealed that his happiness index is 98 points.
If you’re here, I’m going to assume you’ve seen the show, so let’s dive right in.
A major theme of the drama is the role of god/time/fate, whatever that force is that refuses to let Sun-woo change things to his will, even if presumably that very god/time/fate has permitted a world wherein time-traveling incense sticks exist in the first place. Quibbles. (But honestly, talk about entrapment.)
This force is not treated as a religious or paranormal power, and in fact it’s not an overt character in the drama. The characters speak of a god, but the drama doesn’t explicitly show some external force acting upon the world; it’s more of an interpretation than a hard-and-fast explanation. So while we (and the characters) infer that some generic higher power is displeased at the disruption, the issue is more about retaining a cosmic balance rather than a direct punishment-reward dichotomy.
“Secret” – Week 6 Recap by Couch-Kimchi:
Another tense week! This writer may be a rookie but she definitely knows what she’s doing. I learned the writer for the synopsis is Choi Ho Chul and the main script writer is Yoo Bo Ra. (thanks so much, @cynkdf!) The dialogue is refreshingly clear and sensible, which is amazing. I love each episode more than the previous, which is rare for me in K-drama watching.
Min Hyuk goes searching for Yoo Jung at the bakery. He runs inside, calling “Substitute” and then calls out her full name. He hears a noise. He opens a bedroom door to see her sitting on the floor, banging her head repeatedly against the wall. He puts his hand between her head and the wall but she sobs harder. He pulls her into his arms and just holds her while she cries out.
“Empress Ki” – Recap Week 4 (Episode 7 – 8) by Couch-Kimchi:
I’m continually amazed at the story progression and the pace of this drama – things move quickly. That suits me just fine – I hate repetition, flashbacks upon flashbacks, long silent staring and no character development. Having said that, I don’t expect much just yet – it’s still very early.
In episode 7, our creepy brother Ki-Se “smells” that Ki is a woman and rips open her shirtt. He orders her dressed and brought to his tent, while Byung-Soo stares at Ki like he can’t believe it. Two of the Goryeo slaves are brought in to dress her up and apply make-up. She’s brought to Ki-Se’s quarters and he’s momentarily speechless at her beauty. She’s forced to her knees, her hands tied.
The latest lineup for Song Ji Hyo and Choi Jin Hyuk’s upcoming drama “Emergency Man and Woman” (title pending) has been revealed.
On December 10, a drama producer shared that actors Lee Pil Mo, Choi Yeo Jin, and Clara have decided to participate in the drama.
“Emergency Man and Woman” is a 20-episode drama that depicts the lives of a divorced couple meeting again as interns working at the same hospital’s emergency room.
This show didn’t just end on a high note – it screamed it out. Good luck finding another rom-com this good anytime soon. I love that all the necessary loose ends were tied up. There wasn’t a clear cut exposition of every minor detail, but it grazed the truth enough to give us satisfactory justifications. Every kdrama fan knows that happy endings come in all shapes and sizes. Some you have to read into it and draw your own conclusions while others you really have to work hard to make sense of things, but Master’s Sun left nothing to chance. From what I could see, everything that needed to be crossed and dotted was done. If anything – this finale will just leave you wanting more.
“Man from the Stars” Episode 1 Recap by drama beans
We begin in 1609, the first year of Gwanghae’s reign during the Joseon era. It’s on August 25 that a mysterious “round, shining flying object” was sighted and logged in the official records; it zoomed overhead with “a thunderous noise” before disappearing into sparks, leaving the skies clear and cloudless.
(This is a real part of historical record, and served as the basis for tvN’s sci-fi-mystery drama Joseon X-Files, which I recommend by the way.)
EPISODE 6 RECAP by drama beans
So our married couple spends their first night together with Yul staying up to work while Da-jung sleeps. The following morning, Da-jung encourages a reluctant Man-se to attend kindergarten. She promises him a playdate, but a stern word from his father gets him to grudgingly head off to school.
Calling her a worry (geok-jung), Yul sighs in exasperation and removes a note attached to Da-jung’s back (another one of Na-ra’s pranks). He tells her to stay out of trouble since worrying about national affairs gives him enough of a headache and to stop wearing the hanbok.
RECAP: FIFTH RECORD
Min-joon saves Song-yi from falling overboard, and as he puts her to bed, she pulls him down to her to give him a kiss. She murmurs, “You’ve gone crazy,” but it’s more to herself than to him, believing herself to be dreaming him up. She hushes him from speaking and sighs, “Yeah, I was too lonely all this time and it’s been hard on my body. I’m even dreaming up sexy dreams now. It’s time I married. Hormones are honest.”
Drifting off to sleep, Song-yi curls into Min-joon’s coat for warmth—the one he’s wearing, which pulls him even closer to her. Looking completely out of his element (well, even more than he is, for being an alien and all), Min-joon carefully extricates himself.
You Who Came From the Stars Episode 8 previews
(manga friend?): That guy used his own body to stop the car and then disappeared within 1 second?
SY: Even if it was a dream, it was too realistic. Even if it was a dream, it’s too outrageous. And that’s all.
JK: What was that which appeared so suddenly? JK’s lackey: No idea, can’t fathom it at all.
MJ: For the time being, you’ll stay here. SY: It’s strange, now that I think about it, whenever I’m in trouble, you’re always there for me.
SM: The guy from 11 years ago… I’ve seen him. What would happen if I were to tell SY?
I just love this couple. There’s something really gratifying in the whole Superman–Clark Kent duality of doing something for the person you love, then keeping your cover by putting up a different facade entirely. It’s interesting that Min-joon’s facade is actually his natural personality—gruff and crotchety—and yet it’s becoming a mask more than anything. As he explains, things are changing, and not just in an emotional way, with his impending interstellar voyage stirring some physical changes as well. Or is it? What else could it be? Stuff to wonder 2about.
Starts from MJ giving a lecture to his class about two types of dolls a baby monkey chose -the monkey chose cuz one of the dolls was softer- the talk is about skinship.
then it goes to SY asking for 15 secs. she starts the timer and poses.
MJ lectures about what happens when you look into someone’s eyes and how you get happier
when you kiss, how high the heart beat gets and blood pressure elevates
how you will get dizzy from lack of air and fall in love, but you cant be deceived
