The current season of "America"s Next Top Model" features appearances by k-pop stars Jay Park, BTOB, and girl group 2NE1, and most recently two k-drama stars.

The episodes based in Korea were also shot in popular k-drama locations such as the W Seoul Walkerhill hotel and Dongdaeumun Plaze. The W Seoul Walkerhill hotel room that all the contestants stayed in was featured in "Cheomdamdong Alice," in a scene between actresses So E Hyun and Moon Geun Young. Donegdaemun Plaza has been featured in several dramas, including "You Who Came From The Stars." It"s the scene where Jun Ji Hyun has her action scene accident. Dongdaemun Plaza was also featured in "Fated To Love You," in the scene where Jang Nara has her car accident.

But the contestants really got the feel for what it"s like to be a in a k-drama after they read lines with two k-drama stars

"You Who Came From The Stars," starring Kim Soo Hyun and Jun Ji Hyun, was a big hit in China. But "Pinocchio," starring Lee Jong Suk and Park Shin Hye, is expected to become even bigger.

At least that"s the conclusion you can draw from the export price being paid for each of the episodes of the currently running drama. Each episode is being sold for $280,000. "You Who Came From the Stars," which inspired a rush of trends in China, only sold for $35,000. And while the price of exporting k-dramas has risen rapidly since then, even "My Lovable Girl" only earned $200,000 per episode.

Because of its record-breaking price, the drama"s name "Pinocchio, has become the most widely searched word on Chinese search portals.

“America’s Next Top Model” Cycle 21 contestants performed Korean drama scenes with Clara and Yoon Jong Hoon in the latest episode, “The Guy With Moves Like Elvis.” The latest challenge for the Cycle 21 contestants was to perform a scene from the tvN drama “Emergency Couple” with Yoon Jong Hoon and Clara standing in as acting partners.

“Emergency Couple” was a popular tvN K-Drama which concluded in April 2014. The drama also starred Song Ji Hyo (Running Man) and Choi Jin Hyuk (Gu Family Book, The Heirs) as a divorced couple who struggled to work together as interns at a hospital.

Director Recounts Meeting Kim Soo Hyun on “My Love From the Stars” Set after Ignoring Him as a Rookie

Director Jang Hang Joon recently spoke about his first meeting with Kim Soo Hyun after having ignored the actor as a rookie.

On a recent episode of “Brave Writers,” The director said that when Kim Soo Hyun was a rookie, his manager asked the director to keep Kim Soo Hyun in mind for any movie or drama characters. “I didn’t know him at the time, so I didn’t think much of him. A couple of years later, while appearing in ‘My Love From the Stars’ as a film director, I met Kim Soo Hyun again, who had become huge star.”

Actress Kim Ja Ok died this week but she will not be quickly forgotten. The 63-year-old actress will be remembered for her spirit and her kindness.

Several of her "Noonas Over Flowers" co-stars turned up to attend her memorial at Seoul St. Mary"s Hospital.

Lee Seung Gi, Kim Hee Ae, Yun Yeo Jung, and Lee Mi Yeon attended the memorial and paid their respects to the family. While Lee Seung Gi, Kim Hee Ae and Lee Mi Yeon only got to know Kim Ja Ok during the program, Yun Yeo Jung has known the actress for 40 years.

The highly anticipated new SBS drama "Pinocchio" started its first episode with a respectable 7.8 percent of the viewer ratings. The drama naturally attracted attention due to its popular leading actors, Park Shin Hye and Lee Jong Suk. And it promised an intriguing plot with a character that could not tell a lie.

On the November 8 installment of "We Got Married", Nam Goong Min filmed for Hong Jin Young"s music video for "Cheer Up".

After wrapping up their "road movie," the couple went into filming again for Hong Jin Young"s comeback. The couple got close with a back hug, which definitely made them a little shy.

Hong Jin Young said, "We did a lot of back hugs. We"re a married couple, but it"s impossible for your heart not to flutter when we back hug. I didn"t know whether it was his heartbeat or mine, but someone"s heart was beating hard." Nam Goong Min also said, "It was a deep back hug. I put my arms around her waist and held tightly." 

After filming, Hong Jin Young thanked her onscreen husband for waiting by making him a special energy drink.
