Prime Minister and I: Episode 1 RECAP by Drama Beans
We open at a banquet hall where preparations are underway, leading up to the arrival of our hero, Prime Minister KWON YUL (Lee Beom-soo) and his wife, NAM DA-JUNG (Yoon-ah), who greet the roomful of dignitaries with a smile.
But there’s a different story that lies beneath those adoring smiles as the power couple turns to each other… and exchange looks of distaste.
An imagined Matrix style fight scene points to a more tense and hostile relationship between them. And while the world may regard her husband as a respected public figure, our heroine doesn’t share in that opinion because, well, they’re in a contract marriage

2013 is rapidly coming to its inevitable conclusion. This is the time of year where various industry figures take a look back through the year to reflect on the successes and failures of the industry and this year has certainly not being lacking in either categories. But at the very least some industry figures believe that Lee Bo Young and Lee Jong Suk have both had a great year.
To get us started this month, news media outlet “TV Report” has run a survey with 30 producers from the 3 main terrestrial broadcasters (KBS, MBC, SBS) to see which actors/actresses they believed had an almost uncanny ability to pick out great work throughout the year. However as racing driver Jackie Stewart once said, “Good luck in most cases comes through the misfortune of others” and so the survey also asked who the PDs thought had the terrible misfortune of picking out the duds amongst the jewels
Kdrama Recap: The Heirs Episode 17 Recap by joonni Episode 17
Tan ends up back at the empty apartment, the last place he saw Eun Sang, smiling back at him. He remembers what Dad said to him after the meeting- “Don’t forget this day. You lost that child today as the consequence of the sword you wielded.” Tears start to fall silently out of Tan’s eyes first, but as the sobs rise in his chest, Tan pants for breath and he falls on his knees. He clutches his chest as he cries. Tan walks the streets calling Eun Sang, but the operator is saying the phone number doesn’t exist. Tan weeps, going numb from the pain as he remembers Eun Sang saying bye to him with a smile at the apartment. Tan arrives home and goes to his dad. He tells him that Eun Sang is gone; he can’t find her
Actor Lee Min Ho’s popularity overseas is beyond imagination. The actor and his agency personnel are shocked by the enthusiastic fans that come from overseas in order to watch him on the set of filming the SBS’ drama, “The Heirs.”
Fans from China visited Lee Min Ho at his home in Nonhyun-dong, Seoul as well as followed him on his filming schedule to Gyunggi-do Yang Pyung and Gyunggi-do Ilsan. These fans shadowed the actor day and night traveling in pairs or in small groups through hiring “sasaeng taxis.”
A representative of Starhaus Entertainment stated, “We do now know how they find out about the filming locations. We are amazed that they know. We are grateful for the support of fans that come from overseas just to get a glimpse of him. However, there are also safety concerns
Kdrama Pretty Man: Episode 1 Recap by dramabeans
In a fancy high-rise apartment overlooking the city, a woman dressed to the nines paws hungrily at a man who looks rather bored by the proceedings. This is our titular pretty man DOKKO MATTEI (Jang Geun-seok).
As she unbuttons his shirt, she offers to buy Mattei a car, and he brings the date to a screeching halt. He sighs that she sees him as all the others do—as someone who’ll do anything to get nice things from women.
She hurriedly apologizes for the mistake, but he heads toward the door anyway, and in a last-ditch effort she blurts that she’ll buy him an apartment just like this one. Suddenly he whirls around and gives her a kiss that literally melts her knees, and struts out with a smile on his face
Kdrama Answer Me 1994 Episode 10 Recap by DramaBeans “It might be the last”
It’s 2013, and we’re still watching the neverending wedding video. This time we get as far as the daddy-daughter walk down the aisle, at the end of which Dad has this hilarious kneejerk moment, refusing to hand Na-jung over to the bridegroom(’s stand-in). That’s cute.
Thirty-nine-year-old Na-jung sends her hubby a sly wink across the room, and of course each of our bachelor candidates reacts to it. Is anybody else tired of this one-trick pony joke?
1994. Dad’s baseball team wins the Korean Series, after which he prepares celebratory liquor to drink on their next victory. To which Mom asks, “Who knows when you’ll win again?” LOL.
“The last time always happens without the realization that it’s the last time
SISTAR’s Soyou joined the JTBC variety show “Amazing Marriage.”
On November 17, Kim Hyung Joong PD commented, “SISTAR’s Soyou became the daughter-in-law for celebrity couple Kim Tae Hwa and Jung Hoon Hee. We started filming today (November 17) at the celebrity couple’s Busan home. The regular cast of the show, Yeh Ji Won, Seo In Young, and Kim Hyun Sook finished their last filming. We plan to continue the show with a new season. Please anticipate the new members of the show.”
Furthermore, on “Amazing Marriage’s” official Twitter, Soyou uploaded a message stating, “This is SISTAR’s Soyou. I have married, please tell me the methods in receiving love from my mother-in-law.” Along with the message, the singer posted a photo of herself in a beautiful white wedding gown holding up a sign that reads, “Meeting in the in-laws for the first time! What can I do to find favor?” The image of the singer garnered attention towards “Amazing Marriage,” creating anticipation for the new season with Soyou
Lee Jun Ki used Twitter this week to update his status and upload a selca. He’s wearing the same outer-space inspired shirt in each photo, but shows off two different hair styles- one with his hair up, and one with his hair down. To his fans waiting to see his work, he said, “You can’t rush when selecting a new project. It’s my priority right now, so my fans have no need to worry.
Netizens responded by commenting, “Please make an appearance soon,” “You look good in the photo,” as well as complimented him on his jaw line.
Lee Jun Ki, a “2013 Seoul International Drama Award” winner, played the lead role of a small-time gangster fighting for his daughter in the now-finished MBC drama “Two Weeks.” He is currently examining future projects.
Which look do you like better on the actor? The updo or the down hairstyle?

What a cute teaser concept for Let’s Eat, the cutely named tvN romantic comedy series starring Lee Soo-kyung (I Summon You Gold) and Yoon Doo-joon (IRIS 2). (In Korean, the title is purposely misspelled to be slangy.) The show looks cute and bright, based on the previews, intermingling love and food with a nice dash of humor sprinkled in. It also happens to be right on-trend with foodie TV shows all the rage these days.
I was intrigued when I first learned of the show because it sounded like it would be taking a fresh approach to the drama format — the producers previously worked on the long-running cable series Rude Miss Young-ae, which mixed mockumentary styling with its (totally scripted) plots.Lee Soo-kyung plays a woman with a proud, confident air… until she’s in front of food and then all bets are off
Kdrama "Answer Me 1994" Episode 7 Recap by DramaBeans
It’s a sweltering summer in 1994, and Na-jung has a new part-time job working the counter at a chicken and burger joint near campus. She’s surprisingly sharp and good with numbers, as she tells her customer the exact price difference between ordering his burgers and colas separately instead of as sets.
Someone pages her, and it turns out to be Chilbongie calling from baseball practice. He comes up with the adorably lame excuse that he felt like eating burgers, and wants to know if her store delivers.
She says he’d have to order something like twenty of them, and he happily orders fifty. Ermagerd, he’s so cute I can’t stand it.
So Na-jung and her co-worker (the computer science sunbae) head over to the field that night with fifty burgers in tow
Kdrama "Mi Rae’s Choice" Episode 7 Recap
The episode opens up with Shin walking up on a Se Joo and Mi Rae moment. He turns to a corner with disappointment on his face. He dwells on it a little and decides to call out to them to join the others. Se Joo gets up first and Shin gives Se Joo a pat on the arm for his hard work and thanks him for his quick thinking on the water tank. Se Joo quietly accepts his appreciation and goes inside.
Yoo Kyung arrives at the scene where PD Lee warmly invites her to sit beside him but she has her target locked on the space beside Se Joo and writer Bae, LOL. She bites her lips and calculates in her head how she is going to get to that space for a moment. Then very un-subtly, she points at writer Bae going, “There! That!” as she bulldozers her way through the boys and sits right in the middle of Se Joo and writer Bae

The PD at first jokingly said, “During one of the scenes, he sang Kim Min Ki’s ‘Autumn Letter’ to his mom, actress Kim Hye Ok. I thought to myself ‘Yup, he is definitely the bassist of CNBLUE’. His singing really was not as good as I thought it might be.”
