Korea’s top actors Hyun Bin, Jang Dong Gun, Park Joong Hoon, Joo Jin Mo, Hwang Jung Min and Cha Tae Hyun all reunited to have some dinner and a few drinks. This picture was posted on one of Jang Dong Gun’s fan websites under the title, “Recent drinking party.”
Set as a selca taken by Park Joong Hoon, the picture gathered lots of attention as it showed many of the famous male actors who are quite hard to find other than in movies and dramas. Hwang Jung Min seems to be showing the fun through his comical expression, and Cha Tae Hyun through his V-Sign.
Netizens who saw the picture wrote, “The best drink party with the best casting,” “So handsome. They look like they’re having a fun time.”
On another note, Jang Dong Gun and Hyun Bin are making their movie comebacks through “Crying Man” and “The Fatal Encounter,” respectively
Another emergency incident caused Park Ki Woong to cry frustrated tears on SBS’ My Heart Beats.
On Tuesday’s broadcast, Park Ki Woong visited a couple, who shared an incident that happened to their first child. The mother experienced pregnancy-induced hypertension, putting both her and her 28-week-old baby in danger. The couple called for an ambulance so that they could deliver the baby.
However, during their ride to the hospital, an elderly man on a motorcycle was riding on a pedestrian crossing when the ambulance accidentally hit the motorcycle.
The elderly man demanded money for his motorcycle repairs upfront, while the paramedics and the husband begged him to settle this later, willing to exchange contact information. However, the elderly man remained stubborn, demanding money, refusing to let the ambulance pass and stealing precious time from the mother and baby
SBS’ Healing Camp ranked number one for another week with legendary singer Lee Sun Hee as its guest.
The ratings increased from 7.6 to 7.8 with the second half of Lee Sun Hee’s episode airing on Monday night.
Not only did Lee Sun Hee continue to tell her life story through all of her accomplishments, but she also performed her version of Baek Ji Young’s I Won’t Love, bringing a whole new mood to the already sad song. Lee Seung Gi and Baek Ji Young also performed the song on the show for their senior.

The production for MBC’s new drama “Triangle” recently released stills of singer/actor Kim Jaejoong on set, where he has put on a new type of masculine look, with a leather jacket, motorcycle, and piercing stare.
“Triangle” is a drama about three siblings, who, separated after losing their parents, fatefully cross paths as adults. Kim Jaejoong plays the role of third-rate bum Heo Young Dal, having lost his real name as the middle sibling, Dong Chul.
This is Kim Jaejoong’s first stab in a role as someone at the lower end of society, and production company Taewon Entertainment said, “It might be because it’s a completely new kind of role, but it seems he prepared a lot on his own. He had to get on the motorcycle during the first shoot, and the fearless character of Young Dal came right out

While it seemed like an impossible wall to climb, SBS’ My Heart Beats finally received higher ratings than its rival show, KBS’ Our Neighborhood Variety and Sports.
On Tuesday night, My Heart Beats received a rating of 3.4 percent. While the numbers are quite low, the ratings for Our Neighborhood Variety and Sports ranked lower with 3.3 percent.
Since the difference is still quite small, it’s completely possible for the sport entertainment program to rise back up, especially with the new format and new incoming members.
Meanwhile, MBC’s PD’s Note, which airs at the same time as the two variety programs, recorded 5.6 percent.

It’s that time of the year again where we can barely keep track of all of the dramas on the air.
From action-thrillers to a mystery and, of course, your jaebeol drama, there’s something for everyone, but we want to know which drama you’re currently obsessing over.
Vote for your favorite below!
JYJ member Park Yoo Chun’s action thriller SBS drama Three Days took off in the double digit viewership ratings when it premiered last month, and it continues to keep viewers tuning in.
Park Yoo Chun has been pouring all of his energy into his role as agent Han Tae Kyung, bodyguard to the President, in the 24-esque action-filled drama.
SBS drama God’s Gift - 14 Days may not be blowing up the ratings charts, quietly bubbling under the radar with its roller coaster storyline about a mother’s race against time when she is given the chance to go back in time to prevent her daughter’s murder
No matter how intricate the pot, SBS’ God’s Gift – 14 Days isn’t getting its break, still floating in the single digits while so close to breaking ten percent.
God’s Gift has for the most part captured the attention of viewers with its mystery plot as well as the growing number of suspects who each hold a secret against the protagonist.
The drama also has a talented cast of Lee Bo Young, Cho Seung Woo, Kim Tae Woo, and more, who have acted flawlessly since the first episode. But God’s Gift has broken through ten percent just once on March 25’s episode with 10.6 percent.
With only five more episodes to go, it’s uncertain whether or not God’s Gift will even get to break into double digits again, especially with MBC’s Empress Ki clouding over it with 24

While the numbers may not seem very high, SBS’ My Heart Beats is still celebrating as it gains more and more recognition from the public.
On Tuesday night, both My Heart Beats and KBS’ Our Neighborhood Variety and Sports tied for first with 4.4 percent.
Usually overshadowed by Our Neighborhood Variety and Sports, My Heart Beats struggled as a kind variety show, teaching viewers about the efforts firefighters and EMTs put into saving people.
Even though ratings have consistently stayed between 4 and 5 percent, the effect of the program has been seen, especially with the celebrity firefighters promoting the ‘Miracle of Moses’ campaign, in which cars move out of the way for emergency vehicles
With ‘Don’t Trust Anyone’ becoming the new slogan, SBS’ God’s Gift kept viewers guessing and dying of curiosity with a new episode.
The drama fell from its two-digit ratings, but the story still kept viewers locked, trying to figure out who is Han Set Byul (Kim Yoo Bin)’s murderer. As the main characters dove deeper and deeper into finding the murder, an even more complicated backstory began to open up.
But viewers were most rattled when a trusted character turned out to be a suspect, making them suspect all the characters who have appeared in the drama.

1. MBC Empress Ki 25.0
2. SBS God’s Gift – 14 Days 8.8
3. KBS The Full Sun 2
It has been revealed that casting for Empress Ki changed at the last minute.
March 30’s broadcast of MBC’s Section TV revealed the story behind the drama casting.
Empress Ki, which has been earning over 30% in viewership ratings, originally cast Jang Keun Suk and Kim Min Jung for the roles currently played by Ji Chang Wook and Baek Jin Hee, respectively.
Having acted alongside Ha Ji Won previously in Hwang Jin Yi, Jang Keun Suk was expected to be a great partner for the actress in another historical drama. However, Jang Keun Suk’s casting got nullified due to his schedules abroad, which overlapped with the 50 episode long drama.
Many actors also refused to take the role, since having to do a pigtail was rumored to cause misfortune, and the role was finally given to Ji Chang Wook
Fighting against a strong contender like MBC’s Empress Ki, SBS’ God’s Gift – 14 Days isn’t doing too bad, breaking into double digits on Tuesday night.
God’s Gift has been sending viewers into a swirl of mystery with so many suspects coming into the picture with every episode. While it may sound a little repetitive, the drama kept its pace, unveiling new murder cases and hints to who the real murderer is, all the while sending frightening chills down the backs of viewers.
With the mystery becoming more and more complicated and curiosity spiking, viewers tuned in, allowing the drama to hit 10.6 percent, its highest since its debut.
Meanwhile, Empress Ki remained on top with 26 percent, while KBS’ The Full Sun lingered behind with 2
FT Island member Lee Hong Gi’s TV Chosun drama Bride of the Century has been gathering heated response in China.
According to one of China’s biggest portal site QQ.com, Bride of the Century ranked number one on the Korean drama chart on March 24.
The drama raked in over a whopping 2,080,000 views as of March 24, beating out MBC’s Empress Ki with 610,000 views and SBS’s The Heirs with 420,000 views.
On top of ranking number one as the most searched word on China’s Weibo, Bride of the Century has now proven its popularity on Chinese portal sites as well.
The popularity is expected to rise as it features FT Island’s Lee Hong Gi, who recently held a live tour in China and the unique storyline unfolded in the fantasy melodrama

“Empress Ki” will air its final episode on April 29
While it might be the most obvious thing in the world to many countries, most cars in Korea do not move out of the way of emergency vehicles, such as ambulances or fire trucks, as seen on SBS’ My Heart Beats.
Experiencing it firsthand, the stars of My Heart Beats, who work as volunteer fire fighters and EMTs at fire stations, have started a campaign to make the ‘miracle of Moses’ happen in Korea, in which cars split like the Nile River when an ambulance or fire truck has its sirens on.
Although the show’s ratings are fairly low, the campaign seemed to be working as seen on March 18’s broadcast, where a pregnant woman went into premature labor and was being transferred from Pohang to Busan, about a 120 km distance.
Luckily for the mother and baby, all the cars on the road began to move to the side, despite it being morning rush hour
