YG Entertainment, home to popular K-pop stars such as Big Bang, Psy and 2NE1, is holding a concert featuring its most well-known groups in Beijing. The agency said yesterday that it will host the group concert “YG Family 2014 Galaxy Tour: Power in Beijing” for the first time in China”s capital on Oct. 19 at Worker”s Stadium.Global star Psy, who released the single “Hangover” in June, is scheduled to appear. The singer is expected to announce the release of his new song “Daddy”, which he recently filmed a music video for. “He will show off his characteristic cheerfulness on stage to keep fans entertained”, the agency said.Boy group Big Bang and girl group 2NE1 will also perform at the concert. Epik High, with rapper Tablo, who has become more popular by appearing on the KBS entertainment show “The Return of Superman”, will also perform. Tablo and his family made a surprise appearance on the YG Entertainment survival show “MIX & MATCH” while filming for the KBS parent-family show “Happy Sunday – The Return of Superman.”
During the episode, someone asked Haru, “Do you like GD oppa? Or do you like Bobby oppa?” to which Haru immediately and surprisingly gave the answer, “Bobby oppa.”

On April 9, the Korean outlet OSEN published a report which outlined the alleged negotiations between YG Entertainment”s Yang Hyun Suk and a high ranking representative from KBS” variety show department.
In April 2014, Jinusean broke the ice as one of the first YG artists to perform on the chart show “Music Bank.”
KBS and YG Entertainment have previously denied any conflicts but their strained relationship has been apparent, over the years. Top artists including Big Bang and 2NE1 have not consistently appeared on “Music Bank” since 2011.

I don’t usually discuss serious topics on the allkpop TV Guide. But this past week, something really big happened, something worth talking about – and it, sadly, didn’t need to happen at all.
I am, of course, talking about the hip-hop duo Leessang‘s announcement that they would be ending all of their stints on variety programs, with Gil on ‘Infinity Challenge‘ and Gary on ‘Running Man’. This is a reaction to the massive backlash they have received over a concert (‘Super 7‘), featuring the ‘Infinity Challenge’ members, that was produced by Leessang Company.
CEO Yang Hyun Suk quietly left from the Incheon International Airport to New York city on the late night of September 24th, drawing a lot of attention and curiosity on what the trip could possibly be for.
Recently, thanks to Psy‘s “Gangnam Style” going viral, as well as Big Bang selling out all 24,000 seats in their first solo concert in just two hours, YG Entertainment was met with widespread success in the American market.
Big Bang‘s T.O.P had injured his hand while filming his movie ‘Alumnus‘ a few days ago. Because of his injury, the movie had to put off filming and T.O.P had to get surgery. Fans were curious whether he could return to the set. It is disclosed that he will be back film in the first week of October.
T.O.P came out of hospital after his surgery on the 24th. He is scheduled to attend the Singapore stop of the ‘2012 Big Bang Alive Galazy Tour‘ on the 28th and 29th, and then return to continue filming ‘Alumnus’.
After keeping himself hidden for quite a while, Big Bang’s T.O.P will return to the spotlight with his new movie finally premiering.
On September 23, production company, The Lamp and Gold Fish, announced that T.O.P’s upcoming movie, The Alumni will be coming to theaters in November. The announcement also revealed new stills, raising anticipation for the Big Bang member’s return to the bigscreen.
The Alumni is about a North Korean teenager who must become an undercover spy to protect his young sister. The cast includes T.O.P, Kim Yoo Jung, Han Ye Ri, Cho Sung Ha, and more.
After having fans hold their breaths for the long-awaited movie, the first teaser for Big Bang T.O.P’s upcoming movie, The Commitment(previously known as ′Alumni′) was finally released.
On September 26, the first of three teasers were released. The first teaser, titled ‘The Promise’ and drew out the story of Myung Hoon (T.O.P) promising his little sister (Kim Yoo Jung) that he will return for her as he goes on a top secret mission as a North Korean spy.
As expected of him, Big Bang’s G-Dragon captured the hearts of 23,000 people in the audience of the Jackie Chan Concert in Hangzhou, China.
On September 30, G-Dragon participated in the Jackie Chan charity concert at the Huanglong Stadium. The concert took place to celebrate the 100th movie appearance for Jackie Chan and to raise money for the restoration of Sichuan after the tragic earthquake.
Fong, and many other stars were also in attendance.
G-Dragon performed three songs ofOne of a Kind, MichiGO and Fantastic Baby+Crayon, and later commented that the passion from the fans was incredible.

Tablo of Epik High is about to make his return to the variety show scene, as he will be joining KBS2 “Superman Returns” with his daughter Haru.
“Superman Returns,” which aired its special pilot episode this past Chuseok, is a show where the mothers suddenly disappear, and the fathers are challenged to take care of their children for 24 hours. The program was well received by the viewers, and it has now been extended to a full season.
Vocal powerhouse Lee Juck recently revealed that he will be releasing a new album in November and holding two solo concerts in December. Talk about coming back with a bang!
The exact album release date is yet to be decided, but it can be expected to take place in mid-November. The concerts will be held in Kyunghee University’s Hall of Peace in Seoul on December 6 and 7.
The singer-songwriter is known for broadening the spectrum of Korea’s mainstream music scene with his own unique style of music. After making his debut in the 1990’s, he has worked his way up and is now one of the leading male vocalists in Korea.

While his film “The Alumni” is about to hit theaters, T.O.P has revealed that he has also been working on his solo music. He plans to return as a solo artist in mid-November and has already finished filming a big-scale music video that is said to have cost hundreds of thousands of dollars.
According to several models on set, T.O.P’s music video was directed by Seo Hyun Seung and took four days and nights to finish.
Now that one big project is finished, Big Bang’s T.O.P is getting fans excited for his next with the announcement of a solo comeback.
On October 30, YG Entertainment said that T.O.P will be releasing a solo single on mid-November.It’s said the music video has already finished filming. There are no details on when the single will be dropped, but T.O.P will most likely end up competing with Taeyang, who is also releasing his solo album in November.
This will be T.O.P’s big return as a soloist since releasing Turn It Up in 2010.
Choi Seung Hyun (T.O.P of BIGBANG) returned to the big screen after three years in his new movie “The Alumni” (also known as “The Commitment”).
The cast of “The Alumni,” Choi Seung Hyun, Han Ye Ri, Yoon Je Moon, Jo Sung Ha, Kim Yoo Jung, and director Park Hong Soo, attended the press screening on October 29 and shared their general thoughts about the movie. He also amused the audience and his cast members with his funny Superman poses.
The sun is rising again with Big Bang’s Taeyang marking his return with a new teaser.
At midnight on November 1, Taeyang released the teaser for his upcoming song, Ringa Linga. In the video, Taeyang stands at the top of a railing, just as the sun rises into the sky.
The teaser also informed fans that Ringa Linga will be released on November 8.
