Empress Ki Ep34 Recap by thetalkingcupboard.wordpress.com
Seung-nyang stopped right in front of Yoo for a moment of angsty and accusing stare from her side and the guards were ordered to drag her away, but Ta-hwan’s arrival at the throne hall turned out to be a surprise for all of them. Tanashiri expressed her (faked?) relief to see him up and walking, but he’s only interested in what were they doing with Lady Ki. Seung-nyang was happy to have him recovering from the poison and Ta-hwan smiled at her reassuringly. They only had eyes for each other, as if they were the only people in the hall! Still, I feel bad for Yoo, who must felt a pang of sadness upon hearing Seung-nyang’s concern directed towards Ta-hwan

The Girls’ Generation members prove that they’re not just a group of girls who sing and dance on stage, but they also have the ability to move the heart by singing in dramas.
While it may not be all nine of them belting it out for these dramas, here are the members who made their names known in the drama world. Seohyun
Now flaunting her vocals through her musical, Seohyun has previously shined as a drama OST artist as well. .
She’s sung for the history drama, Kim Soo Ro
as well as Fashion King
, which we’re guessing she took part in to support her fellow member Yuri, who was starring in the drama

We have a new No. 1 this week!
“Some,” a duet between SISTAR’s Soyu and R&B artist Junggigo, jumps from No. 26 all the way to the top spot this week, overtaking our three-week champion Girl’s Day and their “Something.”
Soyu has become a favorite duet partner for male K-Pop artists as this is the third time she’s helping a relatively unknown male artist to get into the spotlight. In 2012, Soyu lent her vocal to Geeks’ “Officially Missing You, Too.” Last year, she had a No. 1 song “Stupid In Love” with Mad Clown. Now, four months later, she strikes again with this new No. 1 song “Some.” Geeks’ Lilboi returns the favor to be the featured rapper on this song
While there have been artists trying to steal away their number one spot, project group Soyu x Junggigo has been dominating the music charts with the sweet and addictive “Some.”
The project single was released on February 7, and immediately after it hit the online music stores, “Some” secured its spot on top of the charts. Even 11 days later on February 17, the song ranks first on the real time charts of Melon, MNet, Olleh Music, Genie, and other popular music sites.
“Some” is a medium-tempo duet track by SISTAR‘s Soyu and talented vocalist Junggigo, with a rap break by Geeks‘ Lil’ Boi. Thanks to its relatable lyrics and the two singers’ beautiful voices, the track has recorded impressive download numbers
New stills of “Cunning Single Lady” revealed Lee Min Jung and Joo Sang Wook looking young and beautiful in wedding attire.
On February 11, “Cunning Single Lady” released a set of stills that contained images of Lee Min Jung and Joo Sang Wook as a bride and groom. These photos are from the flashback scenes when Cha Jung Woo (played by Joo Sang Wook) and Na Ae Ra (played by Lee Min Jung) first get happily married.
In the drama, Na Ae Ra is determined to meet a husband with a stable job such as a goverment worker since she saw her father failing a business many times as a child. She proceeds to marry Cha Jung Woo, who passes the civil service examination but later on ends up getting divorced.
It hasn’t been that long since Lee Min Jung stepped out of her actual wedding gown for her marriage with real-life hubby Lee Byung Hun
Brown Eyed Girls’ Gain revealed she was uncomfortable when she attended Park Jin Young′s wedding.
February 11’s broadcast of Mnet’s The Beatles Code 3D invited Two Song Place and Gain as special guests of the day.
Gain said during the show, “I’ve never been in an actual scandal before, but there’ve been many rumors,” bringing up Lee Seung Gi and Park Jin Young.
She revealed that she is close to Park Jin Young and they frequently hang out when they have no schedules.
“When I went to Park Jin Young’s wedding, I clapped loudly and said, ‘Have beautiful babies and be happy!’ but I felt like people around me were looking at me strangely,” reminisced Gain.
Meanwhile, Gain also revealed on the show, “I’ve had many people I liked but have never been in a long term relationship or a relationship that broke my heart terribly
Mnet aired a new episode of "Beatles Code 3D" on February 11, featuring Ga In as a featured guest. On this day, she talked about her bed scenes in her "Bloom" MV as well as her dating style.
In relation to the MV, Ga In said, "Rather than being embarrassed, I, as a woman, found everything beautiful. We were intoxicated by the atmosphere that I think we filmed everything shortly and quickly."

She said, "For bed scenes, I think men are even more embarrassed than women." Shin Dong Yup nodded, saying he heard that, too. While Ga In acted without feeling any emotions, she revealed that male actors could not meet her eyes because they were too embarrassed
The handsome Jang Geun Suk greeted and entertained about 3,000 fans for his first Korean fan meeting event in four years. The fan meeting titled “2014 Jang Geun Suk’s Propose” was held on February 8 at Olympic Hall, and all his fans were super excited for the rare event.
The event included a “Beginning 2014 with you” corner where the star talked about his life using 12 keyword phrases. Jang Geun Suk also performed his personally composed singles “Love Letter” and “Like a Movie.” He also performed the singles “Save Me” and “Turn Off.”
Jang Geun Suk ended the evening when he appeared in a white tuxedo for an encore and proposed to the audience. JYJ’s Kim Jaejoong also made a surprise appearance at the fan meeting
Watch out, Chun Song Yi. Miss A’s Suzy is coming.
On February 10, HB Entertainment, in charge of the production of SBS’ You Who Came From the Stars, spoke with Newsen and confirmed, “miss A’s Suzy will be makinga cameo in this week’s episodes. There’s a chance the schedule may change, but the filming will take place between February 10 and 11.”
“Suzy is the nation’s first love. She will be appearing with the fresh and innocent image in You Who Came from the Stars.
According to many broadcast affiliates, Suzy will play a beautiful woman, who shows interest in Do Min Joon (Kim Soo Hyun), making Chun Song Yi (Jun Ji Hyun) jealous.
So far, You Who Came From the Stars showcased many cameo appearances by Yoo Jun Sang, Kim Soo Ro, Jung Eun Pyo, Park Young Gyu, and more, adding more fun to the drama
Actress Han Chae Young has posted candid selca photos of herself at the beauty salon on her Chinese Weibo page along with the message “Doing my hair!! Is it pretty? Hahaha.” The actress laughs at the end of her post, as if she knows what a silly question she asked. Of course your hair looks gorgeous!
The actress manages to still look lovely while wearing a protective salon gown. Her v-line face and almond eyes are easily identifiable in the picture, and they remind us why the press gave her the title “barbie doll.”
After branching out into the Chinese market in 2011, Han Chae Young made a comeback to Korea with her appearance in the drama “Beautiful Man.” The actress is also a fairly new mother after giving birth to a son in August 2013.

The Couch Kimchi ladies and I are hoping she’ll enjoy this experience so much that she’ll want to stick around and write about other dramas. *hehehe* So please welcome our first guest-writer – Rinchan!

SM EntertainmentRelease Date:
February 19th, 2013
SHINee"s been a busy, busy group this year, knocking out comeback after comeback with very little time for breaks in between- so much so that it seems like "Dream Girl", their first video of 2013, came out much earlier than it actually did. The video features all five guys navigating a strange, topsy-turvy dream world while chasing a faceless girl in a painting through rooms where time and gravity have no meaning
