The JTBC historical drama, “Queen Insoo,” will be lengthened by ten episodes. Originally fifty episodes, JTBC announced on Wednesday that they would extend the drama due to the positive response from viewers and high viewer ratings.
A representative from JTBC commented, “We wanted to tell the story of Queen Insoo from birth to death in more detail. We think that the audience will be captivated by the interesting storyline.” The drama series, produced by Lee Taegon, tells a story about the life of Queen Insoo, the mother of Seongjong, the ninth king during the Joseon Dynasty. T-ara’s Eunjung portrays the younger version of the role, while actress Chae Sira will play the older version of the queen.
The drama also features Kim Misook, Kim Youngho, and Baek Sunghyun, and has been airing every weekend starting from December of last year.
