[KBS 2TV Monday-Tuesday drama 'Love Rain'] 'Love Rain' demonstrated the essence of sentimental melodrama and concluded with a happy ending
KBS's Monday-Tuesday drama "Love Rain" concluded with a happy ending on May 29. The protagonists sustained their precious love at the finale of the drama, which had been pouring "love rain" into the viewers' mind.
The drama featured two different eras as background - the 1970s and 2012. The trendy contemporary era made the 1970s all the more distant and the 1970s on the contrary made the modern times shining. It made the love between the protagonists more touching and heartrending.
"Love Rain" was perfect in story, direction and acting, describing the constant value of 'love' fully and presenting a deep impression to the viewers, leaving a mark in the history of orthodox melodrama.
Jang Geun-sok, who lived in the 1970s as "Inha" and "Jun" in 2012 said after the drama ended, "It seems I was involved in a long love from the 1970s to 2012. I was happy to meet Inha and Jun and I will not forget the drama during my career as an actor." He continued, "I appreciate the support of many people and heartily thank them." Yun Ah who played "Yun hi" in 1970s and "Hana“ in 2012, said, "I am sorry to have to say goodbye. I learned and felt many things about acting through this drama." She added, "Thanks to all the viewers. I ask them to long remember 'Love Rain'."
The last scene of Jun and Hana together in happiness will be remembered long in our heart like a faily tale.
